Week 3 - Hedge Trimming
In week three we covered different types of hedges and their purpose:
Formal - Closely controlled and trimmed regularly
Informal - Trimmed but left to look natural
Native - Beneficial to wildlife and only trimmed when unruly.
How and when to prune each type of hedge and the best tools for each hedge / job.
Which plants that are best for hedges and the three pruning categories inc formative pruning and maintenance for each.
