The Colmen stoves are also easy to use and convent to have . Also use Colmen fuel in your lanterns and stoves to keep the insides clean . It also last much longer in storage then gasoline . Very handy in a power outage at home .
I totally agree with you. Coleman lantern & stove very handy & easy to use. But sadly, my region here doesn't sell Coleman fuel, so the only choice I have is unleaded fuel only.
Hi great videos Very interesting and helpful I wonder please could you tell me what thickness the leather should be to make the suction cup on the coleman lantern Also please im having trouble sourcing the brass tubing at 1.0 mm and 1.5 mm to try and follow your method to make a generator would you possibly have a link To try and purchase the tubing I have tried AliExpress but can find smaller than 2 mm Please help if you can Keep up the good work All the best cheers Keith
You're very welcome, and thank you for reaching out! Regarding the thickness of the leather, you can find it typically ranging from 1.6mm to 1.8mm. As for the brass or copper mesh, either material works fine for the generator. A thickness of 2mm should suffice, and when weaving it, try to keep the rows to around 1.5 inches. If you're located in a Western state, the link I provided may not be applicable for purchasing 1.0mm or 1.5mm thickness. The link I provided you not able to purchase it? www.ebay.com.my/itm/303732788462?itmmeta=01HX8B4GPP6NSMPT6KYW8THF0D&hash=item46b7e28cee:g:~c4AAOSwRxBfjSFa&itmprp=enc%3AAQAJAAAA4HdUH%2Bef0F5jY808tWZClZFiavXZGiZ3n4qK9Fox25xlMmZRCme2%2BttmCiqD%2B2ZOenCHiirCLpfiwCqi053fdAsl%2Bgcn35ei5JtN2VHX71rYkiYl6is8P5nWYypZres7u%2B%2FEg%2Bmn%2BuhvTN%2BiRidkE2gpxq4z%2BFvm%2Bs9QC5thb4ocdgrwm%2F6oW%2FauDVNIUPgn%2BX3q0Ic7KhbwiJrVL2jSluXiBc0lDzhKHOCjkY%2FKKjntS9x0jZ2fmGO4mfxdi0Q%2BPoWj51fmBrdRbDPdnMZ02peMQvqYFZ6maqnsr%2FYYkbGd%7Ctkp%3ABFBMvouSi-pj Try this link above from Ebay. Thank you so much for your promt reply Unfortunately the link you graciously shared with me is out of stock . I'm in the UK. And have tried many suppliers for the brass tubing ( im not to sure what you call MESH) 1.0 mm tubing and 1.5 seems to be difficult to get in the uk. The info on the leather was greatfully received thank you very much for that.
While this video is great, these glands are special order in the US, as they are not used here. The cheapest i can find at my local electric supply house is $28 dollars US plus tax and unknown shipping - EACH, not a box of them.
Thank you for dropping by. I guess some region don't use this type of gland. But this gland pretty common for electrical system, this gland meant for P/S/P cable. Our region here have G206 gland only at US 1.4/pc being convert.
This is an excellent video! These will work perfectly on any coleman pump. Thanks for posting.

If I want to repaint ventilator, what type of color to repaint. Heat resistant paint? Thank you.
Thanks for your question. Yes, use heat resistant paint, normally come with either silver / black. Samurai brand is good.
