As much as I think the Resurgent class makes sense, I think, the the First Order’s fixation on being the new Empire, the Imperius class would fit that ideology perfectly
Ah the peak of the Star Destroyer lineage. Just as much of a beauty as the Pellaeon. The Imperial fleet of the Legacy Era is eating exceptionally well in the design department. And the Imperial-class had a pair of truly worthy successors, the Pellaeon and the Imperious
I think one problem the Galactic Empire had which somewhat stifled innovation a bit was that it had no peer enemy to drive advancement, the Rebels were more of a nuisance than a real threat, so the Imperial doctrine was more about maintaining control and in that goal psychological impact is a lot more useful than classical strategy. The Rebels won some high profile victories but they were more propaganda victories than anything actually critical. In fact if Palpatine hadn't put himself in danger at Endor even if the Rebels had won there it wouldn't have been a significant victory. People tend to dismiss the Death Star as useless against the Rebellion but they are completely misunderstanding the situation. The thing the Rebels value the most is hope even though victory was impossible. The Death Star mission was literally the death of hope, the Death Star doesn't need to chase down the Rebels. It can destroy any planet through any defensive shield, resistance is literally futile. Which is why the Rebels feared it so much, not because they feared it in battle but because of the devastating effect on hope it would have on the rest of the Galaxy and without hope the Rebellion was finished.
Kuat and Mon Cala sure are two of the biggest rival shipyards there is in the SW universe, and Darth Krayt turning to Mon Cala for this ship can't have made Kuat very happy
Huh Thanks! I was really looking forward to this video from you. And I hope that with the second season of Andor, an old wish of mine will be fulfilled and that the TIE Avenger will also be in line!
Question why the MC140 Scythe-class main battle cruiser is showing 850FT instead of the previous 833 meters for this video and the past ones that the ship appeared in the comparison chart?
So here is a question as it pertains to cargo capacity. It seems that cargo capacities are criminally small, an example (assuming i did all my conversions correctly), 13,000 tons equates to a tank of fresh water 22x22x22 meters. Which seems really tiny, especially when steel or x material usually weighs more. This goes for most if not all SW ships. An example here on earth being a Suezmax class at 400m long seeing a max draft weight of 160,000 tons. Thoughts?
A ship from true canon :) - not this Disney Wars trash (that only still exists to push KK's agenda onto people, otherwise it would have been shut down ages ago with her missmanagement! I mean they were IN THE RED for a while, with them spending money hand over fist and not making much in return and them snubbing decade long fans with their "The Force is Female! We don't owe the fans anything! They are all sexist degenerates!" bullcrap!)... Still, I prefer the regular Star Destroyer (especially with upgrades like the super-long-range heavy turbolasers of the ANAKIN SOLO (the Black-Ani as it was known!) or the superlaser (of the Conqueror!))

What Empire at War are you using to use the Pellaeon Destroyer?

0:45 Look at the size of the planet compared to the Star Destroyer, that's Unicorn scaling right there.
The Star Destroyer is much closer to the "camera" than the planet....
Legends > Great Horned Mickey
the Rat God more greedy than the Great Horned Rat.
Legends has a lot of absolute trash too. Specifically Dark Empire.
Help i accidentally built a star destroyer.......
Can we get the story of that silly starfighter ?
I’d like to see the Titan-class Star Destroyer…
Ardent next,?
Buy Silver .Platinum & Crystalize3d Osmium.
