  • This Land Rover Series 1 has been abandoned since the 1980's. It was apparently parked up after it broke down and hasn't moved since. Its now become one with nature.

Rescue the old girl, and give her a home!!
My 1957 series 1, Land Rover is still going strong after all the years. Same with my 1965 series 2A 109 is doing fantastic too. I'm the original owner of both Land Rovers.

Seem to remember there were more Landrovers there when we used to cycle home in the mid to late 70’s. They haven’t moved for nearly 50 years to my knowledge.
Strangely enough I am lucky enough to own a 1952 series 1 ex NZ military with a capstan winch. Pleased to say it’s in a lot better condition!

Indeed there were. Always loads of Series and Discovery 1's there upto 10yrs ago. I should have twigged regarding the NOT Series 2 1965 as I've seen it with a green militarty trailer attached before.

When I first saw this (late 80s, early 90s), there was another earlier Series 1 in the hedge behind PAF808. I wonder how much of it is left as it already had a tree growing through it.
