@colindavidson4297 - Glad to hear it! Yeah, that will require some more aggressive compounding. I had about half of the car painted a few years ago, and they never did a final cut and buff.
Thanks for this video. I too am a DIY guy with a W203 with paint code 097 (obsidian black) that I attempt to keep as clean as possible. I use a lot of the same products you do although my paint is in worse shape than yours, but I try. 2 questions for you. Spraying iso alcohol after applying a polish won't have any negative effects on the polish job? Second question, what do you recommend spraying to strip off ceramic coating so I can rebuff n polish a couple sections? Will surface prep or iso alcohol work?
@CM-tc6pp - You're welcome! Answer number 1- when I do the alcohol wipe, I am very careful to use a freshly washed microfiber. Answer number 2- between the alcohol wipe and the polish, the old ceramic coat should be gone, and ready to apply the new coating.
@sevenpaulperalta929 - Sure thing. The fronts are 20 x 9" and the offset is 25. I run 225/30/20s. The rears are 20 x 10.5" and the offset is 30. I run 305/25/20. I rolled and pulled the rear about .25", no rubbing and you cannot get your finger between the tire and fender
@user-tb7xe8jo5m - Hey there. They are Vossen CV-3, which are no longer made. IMO, they are the perfect wheels for this car. They are 20x9 up front, and 20x10.5 in the rear. I am running 255/20/20 and 305/25/20. I also rolled and pulled the fenders slightly. You can barely fit your finger between the tire and the fender, and there is no rubbing.
Thanks, very informative can’t wait until you do the C32

Helpful video I watched the entire thing
@RyLokey - Great to hear! More content coming soon.
I live down a dirt road with a black SLK32. Our definitions of dirty are not the same!

Mike, can you tell me what offsets your wheels are?
