Any other team beat two 60-win teams on the way to the championship...both without home-court advantage like the 93 Bulls? The 96 Bulls also beat two 60-win teams. So did the 97 Bulls.
The bulls had 2 all nba players and 3 all defensive players and that has only happened 5 times in nba history. The bulls did it twice 1993 and 1996. In fact in 1996, scottie pippen was 1st team all nba, 1st team all defense, 2nd in dpoy and 5th in mvp. Rodman led the league in rebounds and was 1st team all defense. Toni kukoc was sixth man of the year. Phil jackson was coach of the year. Kerr shot the best percentage from 3. and I haven’t even gotten to jordan. The 96 bulls had 4 hofs, 3 all defensive players, 2 all nba players, the best coach, the sixth man of the year, ron harper who averaged 20ppg the previous season, and kerr who shot the best percentage from 3. they had the best player, best coach, best all around player, the 3 best defenders at their position, and the sixth man of the year
@sportstalkonly1442 You act like Steve Kerr was someone to write home about. LOL He was on the bench of every team he played for. And there were many. Secondly, it is indeed impressive when a team wins 87 out of a possible 100 games (reg season + playoffs) beating two 60 win teams along the way. Name another team that did it. I'll wait... As for the 93 team, again...name a team that beat two 60 win teams in the playoffs without homecourt advantage. Waiting...
@TayGee-mh8eo when did I say it wasn't impressive. I simply named the bulls roster and how talented they were. And the best you could do is mention Steve kerr. And since when did the amount of wins a team has determine how good they are? Because when lebron swept a 60 win, 4 allstar hawks team it meant nothing. When he beat a 73 win team it apparently meant nothing.
@sportstalkonly1442 Most of what you said was garbage, I just didn't feel like taking the time of opposing every point. Being a Hall-of-Famer doesn't mean the guy is playing at an all-star level in any given year. Jordan played with an old George Gervin, who is an HOF player, but wasn't when he played with MJ. How many HOF players were all-stars when they played with MJ? Take the 96 team. How many all-stars? Just two. But they won 72 games. Dennis was on the back end of his career and didn't even start all the games during his Bulls run. Kukoc got in the HOF based on his European career, not anything he did with the Bulls. Scottie missed almost half the season in 98. The only guy that played every game during the Bulls 2nd ThreePeat was one Mr Michael Jordan. I didn't mention LeBron so I don't know why you felt the need to. I don't bother talking about guys that like to stack the deck every year but want the same credit as guys who grinded to the top. Like Stockton said, LeBron took a helicopter to the top.
94-95 Hou Rockets 47-35 (6th Seed) 94-95NBA season records for top 5 teams 1)Spurs 62-20 2)Jazz 60-22 3)PHX 59-23 4)Orl 57-25 5)Sea 57-25 Rockets beat the top 3 Western Con team to reach finals and then swept the #1 Eastern Con(4th Overall team) Orlando Magic.
Yep! You can mention the names, but none of the teams Mavs beat were 60 win teams. Only LA had 57 wins, OkC 55 wins, Portland was barely over .500. Not to mention Kobe was suffering from knee problems and went to Germany right after the series to get a procedure done. That was the start of his physical decline so I don’t think it’s fair to say “prime” Kobe.
That’s 🧢 Hakeem 1994 run was the best of all time, he lead his team in all 5 statistical categories in the playoffs. Played with zero all-stars and was the best player on BOTH SIDES of the floor not just offense. MVP, FMVP, DPOY with no help put some respect on The Dream
I respect your argument but let’s keep it a 💯 the Dream had help basketball is a team sport not a one man free for all! He had Kenny Smith, Mario Elie, Robert Horry, Sam Cassell, Vernon Maxwell, Matt Bullard come on man
@@nin9hun33 You right Hakeem had teammates, what I meant by no help is he played with no all-stars. Dirk played with Kidd, Marion, Peja all former all-stars. Terry sixth man of the year, Chandler all defense and DPOY. Dirk for sure had more help than Dream his teammates had no awards.

Same goes for Clyde. Clyde wasn't even a reserve on the 95 All Star team. And regardless, Orlando was still the younger more talented team.
@@TayGee-mh8eo95 Rockets bro !
What did D. Wade say about Dirk after the 2006 finals?
Somehow they only remember Bron and JJ Barea doe lol🤦🏾♂️🍻🍺
Funny how "Brad" always get the glory...............
you peep that too?
He may have something here.
Opinions are like u know what everyone has one
He talk facts
All less than 7! OKC and Miami without home court.
I been waiting years to hear someone from the 2011 Mavs tell these stories that BH talking about now, classic in my opinion.
Let give some credit to J-Kidd
Why say Dirk is your favorite player then sound surprised he had to play the Lakers in the Semis?? 1:20?
No Vince Carter?
They lost Caron for the playoffs also, their 3rd best player
Haven’t pressed play yet or looked at comments, my guess is it’s dirk!
Nvm it’s in the title nobody is gonna believe me
Rookie season magic?
94-95 Hou Rockets 47-35 (6th Seed)
94-95NBA season records for top 5 teams
1)Spurs 62-20
2)Jazz 60-22
3)PHX 59-23
4)Orl 57-25
5)Sea 57-25
Rockets beat the top 3 Western Con team to reach finals and then swept the #1 Eastern Con(4th Overall team) Orlando Magic.
Yep! You can mention the names, but none of the teams Mavs beat were 60 win teams. Only LA had 57 wins, OkC 55 wins, Portland was barely over .500. Not to mention Kobe was suffering from knee problems and went to Germany right after the series to get a procedure done. That was the start of his physical decline so I don’t think it’s fair to say “prime” Kobe.
did plumbers from the 90s like dirk and Kidd just beat the greats of today?🤔
@@dez_chi_boiI think the nba player should be the one to tell us what’s better lmfao who are you to tell someone what’s the best finals run (2011 mavs was better)
@@krazekid8668 idc if he was in the NBA of course he’s biased towards the guy who won him a championship. You may be a sheep but I’m not I have my own opinion and I stand on it no matter what you or a retired NBA player says.
Kobe 2010
Dirk
Hakeem's run got him 2 chips, with lesser talent around him than even Dirk had. Plus Hakeem was a far better defender.
Dirk is definitely 2nd best though.
There’s an argument for 1994. But the 1995 team had Clyde Drexler, an all-time top 5 SG. Let’s not get carried away.
@jmacmall Dallas had J Kidd a top 5 pg ever correct?
@jmacmall Like bro just said, Jason Kidd is a top 5 pure PG ever. But was 2011 J Kidd the same as 2001 Jason Kidd?
Was 2011 Peja and Shawn Marion the same as they were in 01 to 07?
Same goes for Clyde. Clyde wasn't even a reserve on the 95 All Star team. And regardless, Orlando was still the younger more talented team. At very least, Orlando was to Houston what Miami was to Dallas.
Shaq = LeBron
Penny = Wade
Horace arguably equal to Bosh
Hakeem is my favorite center of all time. His two chips came because Jordan was retired 😂
I'm a Mavs fan and grew up watching Hakeem who is my favorite center OAT and Hakeem's best run was in 95, when he had Clyde who was all-nba that year. Averaged 20/7/5 in that playoff run. Dirk's best sidekick was a bench player in Terry lol. It was suppose to be Caron Butler but he got hurt early in the year. Also Rockets didn't beat anyone close to Miami's super team.
Jason Terry and J. J. Barea cooked Lebron 😂🤣🤣 shut down
Best finals run
F****** facts.
Yeah it’s definitely the best run especially after you factor in coaches played because they beat Phil Jackson and Spoeltra.
Nikola jokic beat
Both Lebron and KD along with the team that was built to stop him with a 4 time dpoy rudy gobert plus beat the Heat culture. All while going 20-4 along with sweeping the self proclaimed King. Oh also did it with not a single other all star on his team. Lead the nba in scoring assists and rebounds for playoffs 1st time ever done. Went thru kd and lebron something I bet no other championship winner had to do.
They was the 3 seed. It’s not like they was bottom feeders and overachieved. Rockets, lakers had more impressive runs. Kobe on his last legs, okc big 3 before they all peaked
Kobe wasn’t on his last legs stop it
@@Wisestomatoe
Yea forreal!!! Lakers came off back to back chips … no excuse!!!
What Rockets team? That 95 team had their best run and they had TWO all-nba players, Mavs second best option was Jason Terry a bench player lmao.
@@lightskamrunactionhow is this not a bad thing? They went to the finals 3 straight times. Maybe not last legs but definitely tired legs.
@@dshiznz10yea, definitely tired legs from being in the finals 3x str8 so just think about being in the finals 8x str8, or 5x str8!!!
