I respect it. Kobe is inspiration personified. Sometimes when I feel like I have a lot on my plate I ask myself “What would Kobe do?” And the answer is usually to keep working and that’s taught me great habits I still have.
Im not gone cap Paul was the perfect player to join the Lakers in 2018, his game complimented what we always needed since Kobe left, a two way wing who can shoot at all 3 levels, he was at the party with Russ another LA legend i went to school with in jr high on western and 126th im on the same page as him in the year book. He decided to stay in OKC we was disappointed breh. Once LeBron joined the Lakers with no other star it made me have the ultimate respect for him. Then we traded for AD after we threw that whole 2018 year. If it wasn't for PG we wouldnt have gotten AD. Fast forward PG gets traded to Clippers as a if you don't get him im not coming. Lakers win title in 2020 but it always felt like PG belonged on the Lakers. Its problem too late now because of the money but we definitely would've taken care of him extension wise and the burden on his body wouldve been lowered
Tim Grover hated that Kobe questioned his methods. Teaching is a one way exercise for him. Whereas with Phil you can see that teaching is a dialog, with each participant refining each other.
Pg Is podcasts, not a full time player ,the sixers paid 212 million to help embiid and maxley ,not to bs during the season.what mccants said was right ,if your not working are playing ,you dont need a podcasts when you still in the game
Players are people, too. If PG wants to pursue whatever hobby or after basketball career interest in his spare time, there is no harm in that. In fact, it can keep a professional from experiencing burnout.
@@1ere1Needing a hobby to avoid burn out while NEVER playing a full season 82 game schedule because of 'load management' is 😂😂😂😂 next level mentally weak & unprofessionally unethical
*This guy Phil Handy’s logic doesn’t make sense* …”to be one of the best trainers in the world, you have to work with the best players in the world” actually it’s the other way around…you’re the best trainer in the world when you work with people who are ready to overachieve and you can help get them to the next level!!! What credit can you take for taking a Michael Jordan or Prime Derrick Rose and training them? The talent and drive is there you’re just riding the wave!!! If you want to prove your worth go train Ben Simmons or a Kwame Brown to prove you’re the best trainer in the world! Now to Paul George- dude stop with this pointless over saturated podcast get your ass in the gym or with a rehab facility and get back on the court- nobody cares about you interviewing NBA nobody’s!
Bro how is your favorite player Kobe but you doing Podcasts in the middle of the season with your team as the 12th seed? This too is why NBA ratings are down, players don’t care so why should we 🤷🏾♂️
Dudes a fan of the greats and knows he will never be that great. Didn't put enough work in, never had that killer mentality. He had great moments in his career but he isn't a great player. Just an above average player. Nowadays he is more of a fan than an actual player. Him on podcasts was a move to keep his clout and gain more media attention, hoping for another good NBA contract but he also knows his body isn't performing like it used to and he doesn't want to push it. Maybe his podcast shit is to tell contending teams "Hey I might not be an allstar anymore but I got knowledge all around me, I can contribute to winning a chip." I doubt it's gonna work tho. I think most fans are gonna get burnt out on PG before he even retires.
Bro got a couple of wins and is right back on the podcast
Bruh he been staying consistent with them podcasts regardless of wins or losses all season
His not playoff P his podcast P hahaha
Kobe stories are amazings Rip Black Mamba My Favorite Ball Player Ever
Putting up better podcast numbers than NBA numbers. Is crazy work.

As a lakers fan, I wanted coach handy as our head coach instead of Reddick. Lakers never make the right move 🤦🏽♂️
Thats what lakers do from time to time
No he should've been the coach before Ham he was readily available. They let go of Phil around the same time as Ham. He outlasted Frank Vogel tho
same
Facts
He said he didn’t want to coach

Players don’t got down time? They don’t got off time? They can’t take time to themselves?
