    Hot Racing TD120RR01 Black Aluminum Remote Reservoir Shocks 120mm
    Check out this nice looking Axial Bomber RR01 Rock Racer. This is the most scaled and realistic creation from Axial Yet and it definitely top my favorite on Axial RCs. In this video I show you how it looks and what it took to get to where it is now. The next video is to fine tune shock settings, install led light and upgrade the motor and esc for a combo that can do both rock crawler and bash runs.

    The only thing that lets them down is the cockpit they need to be painted to bring them up to the rest of the vehicle's excellent scale look.

      You have a point, I might just have to paint it too before the run video

      Very true. But on the flip side it really just gives us the opportunity customize it even more

      +JPRC of course man...I love your videos. Prepping to watch your latest desert run with the Bomber. Unfortunately, I watch a lot of videos on my smartTV and can only like...not comment. I try to get back on a computer to comment later, but it doesn't always happen. So many distractions on a computer for me. :)

      +CCxRC I know right, the xmaxx takes way too much time for you. It demands to be driven all the time lol.

      JPRC hahah! ain't that the TRUTH. It needs some repairs after some front flip big air carnage yesterday...New shock shaft and upper suspension arm are sitting on the bench. :)

    is it possible to use the rear links of this truck on the wraith

    • @JPRC
      @JPRC  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      I suppose it is possible, you will also need longer rear drive shaft and shocks I suppose. It should be able to fit with minimum modification

    what is the name of the paint you used on the shocks? Please Answer

    • @JPRC
      @JPRC  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      those are tamiya ts paint brilliant blue ts-44 , but these are plastic paint they dont stay on metal very well..i used them only because i had them handy. you would be better using paint that would stick to metal or simply anodize them

    Is it better than the scx10?

    • @JPRC
      @JPRC  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      They are two different class. Scx10 1.9 trail while the bomber is 2.2 comp so technically you can't say which one is better. But if you just getting into rock crawling/racing scene this I suggest the scx10 as a starter. It is more durable out of the box and less maintenance and easier to maintain.

    The life of rc, but it for $400 or so and drop never ending money into it. That's why I kinda left the hobby, became way to expensive.

    • @JPRC
      @JPRC  8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      i hear ya they do get very expensive and i am alway on the budget side with the hobby (going on for almost 20 yr now), but no need to quite (i also took breaks when life gets busy here and there), there are plenty of us sharing everything we do on youtube so you can just follow alone.
