I was there. I remember saying to my friends before the show “If Susan Boyle walks on stage tonight, I will lose it.” Because she had been one of my idols since I was a tiny child. She walked on stage and I in fact lost it. I got to see my idol sing live AND see her get the golden buzzer. I was sobbing. I remember every moment and an eternally grateful to have gotten to experience that.
I love how Simon treats Susan, he's almost like a protective parent of a young child, and he's so proud of her. She has earned that respect ever since she first set foot on BGT. What an incredible voice in an incredibly amazing lady. I was so happy to know she would be on the show.
I think it's safe to say that of all the contestants ever set foot on any of his shows, this is the one he's most proud of. Not because of her success, but because of her courage and what she did for people. She changed literally a world's view, shook music to its core, all while staying true to her dream. When she said in the opening video that she sung for the queen twice, all I could think of was "she made it".

I remember a few years ago being in a shop trying on sunglasses before going on holiday, I heard this voice next to me say “they really suit you, they look great, you should buy them” I looked round and it was none other than Susan Boyle! I saw all the people in the audience with the smug looks but they got over it as soon as she starting singing. She took us to another time and place with her angel voice. I do believe this song was my all time favorite by her. It's such a beautiful song and perfect for her voice. The thing I love about her is she never let stardom change who she is. Just a sweet humble person.

They did not want to record and release it. They gave it to a band called the Flying Burrito Brothers and later decided to go ahead and revisit the song. Writers and singers don’t always connect with the songs they compose, and sometimes they believe the song is not worthy of being recorded. Mick Jagger even stated he believes Susan Boyle sang the song better than him. He believes it was inspired for her voice. I happen to agree.
When everyone first seen her they wrote her off purely based on looks and mannerisms and then she introduced us to her amazing voice. If only people could be more kind
She was perfectly in it from the very first word. The stage design is also beautiful and complements the song beautifully. The way the lights lighted up all the way to become a beautiful tree...And the pianist...applause for him too he played perfectly with such emotion.

People like to point out that is a huge wake-up call for the judges of these talent shows, let's not forget statistically the amount of crazy Talent is coming out of the Woodworks ever since she stepped her first foot on that stage. With everything that happened Wild Horses was an amazing song to hit the spotlight again. I'd love to see her win this time around.... even if she doesn't though?
