@Shan215103 Thought this is a good starting point for bringing kids into the hobby, or for a quick filler game waiting for others to arrive for the main game session. :)
@writerguy911 Definitely an easy travel game, and to use as a filler game to gain your sanity back before venturing further into the madness of Arkham!! :)
@gabriel domingos Good luck getting your daughter into gaming! I got my daughter started with the GI Joe trading card game (which I really enjoyed), and the DC Deckbuilding Game (which is why that game will always be loved by me). Happy gaming! :)
@@gabrielgirodo Oh, this was years ago. She's moved out now. The GI Joe game was a TCG that only had a core set and one expansion, but we really loved playing it together! :)
Hey Dale I noticed you covered a kid friendly game and thank you for doing this. I definitely understand your videos is mostly geared for adult board gamers but it’s nice to see something different once in a blue moon lol. I have a 10 year old and I just recently got this game and he enjoys it because it’s a easy and fun game to play. Keep up the great work!
Dungeon Mayhem is a big fan favorite in our house. We’ve got all three sets. I imagine we will pick this up too. I wonder, could you have Iron Man go up against the Beholder? 🤣
That artwork is amazing. It’s quite beautiful and thematic. The Marvel IP has to cost a pretty penny, not to mention that the Mouse likely gets a premium on every box. Somewhere (Pawtucket) the mavens at Hasbro are looking at a spreadsheet that says despite those costs these cards are going to equal profit and make for happy shareholders. After all the Bros at Has own the Mayhem franchise thru WotC making development essentially a one-off fee. Meanwhile, Mayhem, the design, never got traction with younger collectors who tend toward the Poké/Yugí IPs. This feels more like a number juggling exercise from Econ 201 rather than an actual product. It’s like everyone involved is just going through the motions.
@JJE True, to get many games other then Pokemon, YuGiOh, or Magic in the hands of many younger kids ... parents will need to get involved in the hobby too. It's a win-win. :)
@DoogieBoomstick I was afraid it was going to turn into a first turn win!! Fortunately, he got some really good healing and defense and Black Panther stalled. :)
Definitely not a game for me, but looks a fun game and a gateway game for younger audience. I already see a lot of parents buying this game to introduce their family/kids/friends to more complex games. I can see this game "stale" quickly: once played a couple of time if you enjoy the genre, you'd want more... Time to table a beefier LCG or a more complex 1v1 card game. :D
This game looks fun espeially for our younger marvel fans. I like it. Thanks Dale

Cool video! I like the artwork of this game!
@Dariusz Kopaczewski Thanks for watching! :)
This game actually looks surprisingly fun. I could see this as being a great travel game, plus the theme is awesome. Cheers for the video!

Seems super fun! Now I just need to convince my daughter to play with me xD
Tks for the video, I always enjoy them :)

@@DaletheCasualGamer nice to hear that you and your daughter play together. I never checked the G.I. Joe videos, but I will :)
Have a great day! :)

I love the original dungeon mayhem. Such a quick great game.
@James Ebenger Do you see Marvel being compatible with the original? I think some people have been combining them. Happy gaming! :)
@@DaletheCasualGamer I don't see why not. It's just the original game re-skinned for Marvel.
good job as always Dale... well done my friend..
@idjester That doesn't sound like you bought it ... I'll try harder with the next unboxing. ;)
@@DaletheCasualGamer Yeah your loosing your hold over me... I can now resist your mind control...
Will keep an eye on this. Already looking forward to Marvel Dice Throne.
@Rockfyre 309 Get started with this one, and hooked with Marvel Dice Throne! :)

@Mr.L I think it deserved some attention on TH-cam ... and you did make me buy it. ;)
Simple, fast, straightforward. Perfect for the kids and/or playing 2 or 3 games in a row. Maybe a lot more strategy with 4 players?
Not a fan of the more modern artwork on the cards, but it looks fun and quick! Our go-to Marvel card game is currently Infinity Gauntlet.
@Benjamin Spears The Love Letter games really are a great small box game to have around!! Batman is my most played of the group! :)
Dungeon Mayhem has been a really fun game for my two boys and I. Really quick and easy to play.
@Brad N Great to hear! I almost picked that up multiple times at the game shop, but adding Marvel made it an instant purchase! :)

@Michael Wages From what I'm hearing, people are blending this and Dungeon Mayhem! :)
Have fun!! :)

This looks like a two-player version of BANG.
If it was played by more than 2 players Iron Man wouldn’t even start :D

Well, BP may have spread some of that damage around perhaps though.
its never enough for Marvel fan isnt ?
@team 89er Nope ... and I'd take some good DC games too! :)

@Steve Rodrigue Probably not for the "established" gamer, unless they are trying to bring in new gamers ... to get them hooked on something else. :D
