I see your videos usually show the newest heroes vs newest villains (which I get). But I am wondering if you think some of the older gen heroes would stand up to the newer villains? Idk, to me it seems like the newer heroes make the older ones obsolete. Would be curious to see your take on it.
@Chris Barfield I still think Captain Marvel is the top tier for solo and being able to rush through any villain. Iron Man is also one of the most dangerous heroes ... he just takes some time to build up which is a problem against certain villains. And of course good ole Captain America!! The villains have definitely gotten tougher, so it does make sense to me that new heroes get some power creep too, but I still think the original and early heroes are still viable. If you'd used Fury to do damage (4 + 2 = 6) after pinging the Tough with shoulder cannon, you could have finished him that turn, between shoulder cannon spam (5) and basic attack (2): (5 + 2 + 6 = 13). People forget Fury can do 6 damage to the villain in a turn. Fun round!

Thanos does not play fair. He tries to limit what you can do it seems like. He is fun to play,that is what makes M C so great. Enjoyed watching your play through.
Hey! Fun deck and great gameplay! Quick question: shouldn't you have taken 1 damage from Corvus Glave when you finished him off with the Shoulder Cannon, due to his Retaliate 1 ability (15:54)? It didn't make a difference either way, you never dropped to 1 after that, so Thanos would still be defeated. I just want to make sure I didn't miss anything interpreting a rules!

@T Mills I use two brands, for cards getting shuffled I use Dragon Shield clear matte sleeves, and then for the character identity card, main villain card, and main schemes I use FFG sleeves (basically any premium sleeve that is clear on both sides). The Dragon Shield clear matte sleeves are "blurry" on one side, so not the best for dual sided cards. As for cost, yes they can get expensive. The Dragon Shields are around $11 for 100, and most premium sleeves are around $3.50 for a pack of 50. Hope that helps, and happy gaming!! :)

I have lost to Thanos so many times now(note: I have beaten him). I absolutely hate this scenario. I don’t mind the infinity stones but having one that is constantly discarding your upgrades is just too harsh. He’s constantly stunning, constantly getting toughness cards and if you flip over to try to heal he’ll just put so much threat on the main scheme that the snap is sure to happen. I get that it’s supposed to be hard but this one felt a bit much for my liking. I still enjoyed the play through though so keep them coming!! Thanks.

@@DaletheCasualGamer Today for the first time I FINALLY got to thwart that side scheme that lets you remove a stone from play and I was SO happy because the one “in play” was the Reality Stone. Soooo satisfying. I went Thor aggression and Captain America protection and that seemed to work really well. I would use retaliate and electrostatic armor to slowly wear Thanos down for 4 health(2 defend actions per turn) with some Counterpunching for good measure. That freed up Thor to lay down the hurt with Dive Bombs. It’s a big attack(7 damage) and I love it because it always ensures I either have that or a Hammer 🔨 Throw coming up every turn practically. One problem with Thor in this scenario is that he naturally wants to “find” minions with Defender of the Nine Realms but I never use it because the so-called “minions” are all elite 5 and 6-health mini-bosses. Yeah, I learned real quick not to use that card. Lol. Alrighty, onto scenario 4. My goal is to be all caught up in time for when Sinister Motives releases!

Initially I thought Thanos started with too few hit points. Too Rhino-like, y’know? I revise that. Nuts to that guy. If he isn’t getting boost cards he’s getting tough cards. I’ve barely cracked my copy of MTS. Thanos will just have to be happy he’s sleeved, sorted and living comfortably in the Villain’s Quarter for now. Exciting game.
I was confused for my own games vs Thanos about the squence of infinity stone activation for the Space Stone. Since it puts a minion into play after the villain activates does the minion not activate that turn against you as well? i.e. in Dale's case does the SuperGiant minion @7:41 , not scheme or is the infinity stone activation intended to occur after both the villain and minions activate?
@@DaletheCasualGamer I get so many rules wrong in this game all the time. Honestly, I wasn't sure what I'm supposed to do in this situation in my own games. I figured you had it correct. :)
@@en4crcdn Yes, when the space stone brings a minion into play then it will activate within the same round(unfortunately). There is a lot to track with this scenario so I have now resolved only to play it with one character. Adding another one really makes this one brutal.
@@en4crcdn There is a lot of stuff going on in the game, so keeping up with all the in-game effects along with timings can be difficult. I definitely is for me! :)

@Daniel Flare "More fun than Ronan" is a low bar! lol Thanos is definitely a challenge, but nothing like Ronan, but then again, he is the 3rd of 5 in this scenario. For me the hardest part is remembering the infinity stone deck. :) Enjoy the new set!! :)
@Team8 They are different, I had a large stash of FFG sleeves, and use them on the main character card, villain card, and main schemes for 2 reasons. 1) they are clear on both sides (I use Dragon Shield clear matte, so matte on the back side), and 2) in case I accidentally shuffle them in the main decks, they are easy to find as the size is different. @Sean Morrison I use Dragon Shield clear matte sleeves for anything in the deck, and FFG sleeves (but any generic sleeve will work) for the identity, villain and main scheme cards. Hi greetings from Perú! I've been watching your channel from time to time its pretty interesting, it bugged me so much that I had to mention it haha. You really should've kept Counter Intelligence on the opening hand allowing you to stay one extra turn in alter ego form, that would've triggered just before the infinity stone.

I use Dragon Shield clear matte. Has a translucent blue dragon on the box and talks about Angrozh on the back (if that helps). :)
