Great vid, always love to see PoP related content. This series often doesn't get the attention it deserves. It's cool to still be able to learn things about this game even after 15 years of playing it. So many tricks I wish I'd known as a kid. Back then I wasn't even aware you could retrieve sands before knocking an enemy to the ground. Made the combat a lot harder for me than it had to be.
Yeah, I remember being thrown off by the Harem Sand Creatures use of combo attacks the first time I played. Took me a few days to get past that segment. Then the Sand King was a whole ordeal. Took me a few weeks to muster the courage to plow through that when I was 8. I used to just go back and replay the prologue/opening levels whenever I'd get stuck lol. Probably the single most nostalgic game for me, so it's always awesome to see well-made content about it on TH-cam. Learned a few new tricks from this video too, amazed I've been playing this game for 15+ years and still don't know everything about the mechanics lol. (I'll forever have issues with that Elevator fight though lol, the true final boss of the game)

3! Now you’re just showing off. I basicly knew none of these so thx. This vid is like sot: short but tells and shows everything that it wants to tell. Very good vid!
Wow! I'm a Prince of Persia fan and I have played this particular game many times an I got to say this is the first video that actually showed me stuff I didn't know. I have mastered my techniques in this game and can fight without taking damage, but power attacks, retrieving sand from scarabs and vaulting blues in slow motion were things I really didn't know. On the other hand, the auto-targeting columns and running more effectively without the sword were things I *did* know by myself, although sheathing the sword in the midst of combat is something I rarely do because it makes Farah mad. Thanks, by the way!
Lots of these are scattered across the collection of PoP vids you have on here, but I had no idea about the strong attacks. Will see what I can do with those in the future.
@@LeoKRogue Okay. This one move might not be impactful, & I've done it in Warrior Within & Two Thrones; & I think it works in Sands of Time too. The Prince kicks during combos in WW & T2T. But he can kick as an individual move too. Whatever direction he is facing while fighting, just press another direction apart from the one he's facing & hit your primary weapon button at the same time as the other direction button & he kicks. Nothing damaging in battle, but does look good. I had a question regarding Sands of Time. The user manual says that there are enemies hidden in the room, & only when all the enemies are killed that the Prince sheaths his sword. But it always occurred to me that the sets of enemies spawn twice or thrice after getting killed. I tried counting during your playthrough but couldn't. It was too confusing for my eyes. Maybe when I play & have a small set of enemies in any location that I'll bother to count.
