Personally I consider the vocal performance on Slave to the grind to be one of the best vocal performances in rock history.

I saw Skid Row in 89 opening for Bon Jovi in Toronto Ontario Canada. Last month they came to my hometown of Burlington Ontario for the sound of music festival. I went to relive my youth not expecting to really enjoy the sound too much. Man was I impressed! Great job guys especially Erik. What a set of pipes!

I watched Erik on You Tube Videos back in the day when i was discovering foreign music (something I still do), then he joined HEAT a band i was already aware of, then I saw him live with HEAT and was blown away by the live performance, now he joins Skid Row, a band i've loved forever!, this is too perfect!!!! i feel i've followed his every step and although i didnt have the nerve to go upto him after the gig to tell him how awesome he was, i'm so glad for his continued success.

Waiting for Sebastian´s comment... I would say, that there is emotion, piercing precision and that performance as a whole is just like a nail to the head. Haven´t experienced that, but I could imagine, it would sound like that. Needless to say, compared to young Erik, Erik today, is superior. You haven´t lost anything, but gained experience, vocal technique and credibility.
There are many high tenors who can sing in the 5th octave consistently (I can name quite a few as I'm into power metal with high belting stuff), but you are one of the few who has such explosive power and crazy distortion in that range. And your timbre is so good, I swear every single one of your covers is better than the original one, your voice color literally fits every damn song perfectly. That's not something you can train to achieve, you have to be born with it and you are one of those lucky bastards lololol. One in a million voice.

I watched Erik on You Tube Videos back in the day when i was discovering foreign music (something I still do), then he joined HEAT a band i was already aware of, then I saw him live with HEAT and was blown away by the live performance, now he joins Skid Row, a band i've loved forever!, this is too perfect!!!! i feel i've followed his every step and although i didnt have the nerve to go upto him after the gig to tell him how awesome he was, i'm so glad for his continued success.

I saw Skid Row this past summer and WOW did Eric ever kill it. I thought I might be disappointed no Sebastian but left the show totally satisfied.

Waiting for Sebastian´s comment... I would say, that there is emotion, piercing precision and that performance as a whole is just like a nail to the head. Haven´t experienced that, but I could imagine, it would sound like that. Needless to say, compared to young Erik, Erik today, is superior. You haven´t lost anything, but gained experience, vocal technique and credibility.

Saw Erik in person and I can confirm Skid Row made the right call in choosing him.
There are many high tenors who can sing in the 5th octave consistently (I can name quite a few as I'm into power metal with high belting stuff), but you are one of the few who has such explosive power and crazy distortion in that range. And your timbre is so good, I swear every single one of your covers is better than the original one, your voice color literally fits every damn song perfectly. That's not something you can train to achieve, you have to be born with it and you are one of those lucky bastards lololol. One in a million voice.
Sebastian wont hit the high notes anymore.. you did it man. you're AMAZING! Skid Row lives again.
