- Finally it's time to make this glorious song!
When I heard the end of this song on VH1 at the age of 15 I knew I wanted to become a singer and went online and BOUGHT a Skid Row album without knowing the name of the song or which album it was on.
A week later it came in the mail, and at the end of song nr 5 I knew it was the right one and it changed my life forever!

Damn ... When he hit those high notes, I was smiling from ear to ear and crying from joy at the same time. I've always loved this song and this cover blew me away (no pun intended) Now I'll be going down the rabbit hole of watching other videos from Tommy!
Great cover, I still remember seeing Tommy live before the Sabaton concert in Omsk in 2020. He was alone, without protection, and just walked around the city. My friend and I approached him and without any problems or refusals we took a picture with him. The most important thing in Tommy is charisma, he just exudes it in all directions and being with him is very cool and pleasant.

This was my son’s favorite song when he was 16 years old. I stumbled across the video today on the 4th year anniversary of his murder 06/20/2020😭
So tragic, I'm so sorry for your loss. Just keep in mind that he was called home and that he has done what he was supposed to and (whatever religion you practice) our creator call hi. Back home but he will be looking over you and the family keeping you all safe. My your memories heal your broken heart and the comfort of knowing just because we say goodbye, it's never permanent. ❤😢

When we first heard Sebastian Bach screaming out these notes, we were completely BLOWN AWAY by the sheer force and power of his vocals. I can honestly say, having heard this song for nearly 35 years now, Tommy's version is SO MUCH MORE POWERFUL than the original. He shows such love, admiration, and respect to the original it's palpable. The guitar tones, the emotion, the atmosphere...... it's ALL THERE!!! Thanks for making this near 50 year old 15 year old feel like a high school headbanger again! Well done, Maestro! Well done indeed!

Back in 1989, I was let's say fresh in \m/ Metal \m/. 15 years old. It started with Helloween as I was 14, one year later this masterpiece came out. And from the first tone it blasted me away. The power of this song catched me and now, 33 years later, it still catches me.
