My Hadean glides like an eagle on my 107. It's almost that good that the effort of riding a skateboard has been reduced to nonexistent and forgiving aswell . I have no idea how it can be made much better. It feels perfect
Top video guys. Those of us that didn't come from normal skateboarding don't quite understand how to set up trucks properly. I played around with the tightness of mine a lot and got it feeling good but when I got new bushings it felt a lot smoother. Its hard to explain but I recommend everyone does it!
So, after a year of riding my first board Bamboo GTR almost daily, I stumbled upon this video, loosened my trucks and finally realised what the board is capable of :) most important now - not to overcompensate. Thanks Evolve :)
Thanks for this video - super helpful to get the opinions from all your experiences with these, knowing how great the ride can get! Versus my trying this versus that to educate myself on the differences. I adore my GTR daily 😁😁
Hello, I have the bamboo GTR with AT wheels and I’m new to skating. I find my front left wheel rubs on the board when I make a sharp left turn which for me is my heel side. How do you recommend I adjust the board to prevent this from happening?
Hi I was just checking out the High Performance Bushings Kit on your site and at the bottom it says *GTR boards come with stock 90a bushings and below it says 95a, just wondering which one is correct cheers.
The boards come with their standard black 95a bushings and performance bushings are additional. You can call up and speak to the team as they may be able to assist with getting your board set up.
@@zfilm that’s weird. It seems the information they’re giving out is not consistent then, as I read another comment on this same video where someone from Evolve said the standard bushings are 95a.
Have you guys upgraded your batteries yet? I loved your board but was always having insane battery sag problems. After about 3-4 miles getting passed by the “other brands”. Would love an upgrade kit available for purchase.
The GTR Series launched almost a year ago now with a brand new electronics system. If you have an old board it's likely your batteries are getting close to the end of their life and performance will be reduced.
In the video, aren't you using 92A boardside and 90A roadside? And isn't the image showing boardside and roadside wrong? It's showing that the cone bushings are called roadside (cones?) and the barrel bushings are called boardside (barrels?)? Or is it this way? Cause later 92A bushings (yellow), both barrel and cone? are used on the kingpin closer to the board, i.e. boardside? and 90A (purple), barrel and cone (?) are used closer to the road, i.e. roadside???
I can't have them too tight personally as I am a lighter rider, it hurts my feet too much to turn the board over longer periods when the trucks are over tightened. Gotta be a personal preference thing 😄
People need to stop torquing down the kingpin nuts.. double kingpin are for slow carving pace, not for fast speed.. keep them loose. Throw the 7 inch pneumatic Wheels in the trash. Use urethane Street Wheels 97mm- 107mm.
Of course they speed up the important bit 100x so a noob cannot follow. If you find yourself with a pile of parts and scratching your head like me, the order is washer (rim up), then cigar shaped bushing, then wheel bracket, then cone bushing (tapering towards you) then washer (rim down) then nut.

These types of videos are great! Keep more coming! :)
I want to get some of these trucks to put on my traditional board, too. Looks smooth af.

That's what we love to hear! Enjoy the carve.
I done this when the bushing kit came out. Makes a massive difference and enjoyable ride. 🙌🏼
I’m soo hyped I love snowboarding and just ordered the gtr bamboo board 🤩
You will be stoked!!!
Very good video,great explanation!😊👍👍🏂🏂🏄♂️🏄♂️
Awesome breakdown!
Just got my bushels today, so perfect timing!
Keep these vids coming, as i learnt now i need to change the combination to adjust the ride. Cheers
Do new bushings/pivot cup require any grease? I need to replace my stale ones from 2017 (im sorry)

thank u so much evolve i am learning so much from u guys. pls make more of this kinda videos!!!
Great video! I need to get a bushing kit!
Great video,
I have the 7” at tires on my gtr. if I get the 6” tires, it’s still the same size wheel right? Just swap out the rubber?
double kingpin truck newbie here. is it okay to have double barrells on the back trucks, and barrell and cone for the front trucks?
so harder bushing allways on board side ?
These are the best trucks ever there so comfortable
*They’re
Great vid lads, really well explained but concise. Two years later and perfect for me today.
Glad you enjoyed it
Thanks, this was helpful.
Just ordered carbon GTR im so happy! hope will get my board soon :)
PS. what bushings should i use im about 100kg...
They are amazing on the GTR. Love it and wouldn’t swap it for single kingpins again. Boosted got it wrong for sure!
Good tips! Shared :-)
are these bushings compatible with the Gullwing double sidewinders ?
Please help- - - will the evolve bushings work on my Verreal RS pro? I need better firmer bushings. Thanks
Hey Eddie, we don't know the specifics of that board but our bushings do fit most trucks.
Great video and explained perfectly. GOOD job 💪🏻👍🏻🏄♂️ and I love the bush kit 10/10 Peter Spain 🇪🇸 Could be time to speak to Andy at evolve UK 🇬🇧 😁

Hi i'm from buenos aires argentina....i have an evolve gen 2 longboard....onr motor only....i want to know the set up For My board....thanks
Hey can you give links to all the stuff you bought that's in there? I'd love to have that same exact board
Check out the High Performance Bushings Kit on our website!
When will the bushing kit be available
Hi Joseph, depending on what country you are in dates may vary. We aiming to restock ASAP!
if you order your board can you ring up to have the right bushings for your weight off the bat

@Evolve Skateboards what’s the standard supplied Hadean black bushing durometer so I know which way to go please? Is it 90a same as GTR?
The stock bushings on all Evolve boards are 95A
@@guywhitworth5764 thank you. I did get this written response from Matt at Evolve re my Hadean “The stock bushings are 91a” FYI. I had to buy 95a
@@zfilm that’s weird. It seems the information they’re giving out is not consistent then, as I read another comment on this same video where someone from Evolve said the standard bushings are 95a.
Do pivot cups affect ride feel, or is it just for sound as this video suggests?
They, as the name suggests, are the point at which the whole trucks pivots. Noise aside, clean pivots cups will help your turns feel smoother.
Nice & Thanks :)
What are good LED lights to put on the bottom of my GTR board?
The Prism strips

Evolve Skateboards my carbon GT is only 16 months old and only has about 50 charge cycles on it
I'm at 95kg riding Hadean Bamboo. What would be a good bushing setup? 98a on all bushings? Or 95a road side and 98a board side on all trucks?
Yes, that would be a good move!
@@evolveSkateboards Thankyou, so both options would be worth a try?
DO THESE WORK FOR OTHER BOARDS OTHER THAN EVOLVE
I found at high speed best way to stop wobbles i apply more body weight on front truck and it never wobbles even with 175 mm wheels haiden bord
how hard are the standard bushings from the gtr bamboo ?? 90 a ?
The stock bushings on all Evolve boards are 95A
@@guywhitworth5764 I sold my evolvee and bought me a Tesla instead :)
What is the hardness of the stock bushings?
90a but a stiffer compound
great video guys now im going to make an order!
I put the hardest bushings available on my Stoke and it still feels super loose.

Why or why new tracks still can not take standard bushings?! I wish my evolve could use some quality Venom stuff..
🙌🏼👌🏼
Will this board lock up and throw me off like all the people on Reddit are complaining about. I don't want to die.
That dude is a good looking rooster!
Jaryd Neethling Jeff will be happy to hear you say that 🤣🤣🤣 (...or are you talking about that other bloke 😉)!
@@BrianLomas nah, the other bloke. Jeff is ok though 😉
definately a must have! Nice Video!

Can I sport those trucks on a 'Wick Board? I know your chief came to visit the store, here in London .. wickboards.com
Thx ..
So I’ve been wording why not dobble revers kingpins truck
I really wish I had a use for my evolve double kingpin trucks but my $2000 board can no longer cross the street without turning off automatically
Jack Bumgarner Wdym?
Pretty easy to hit up Evolve to figure out why!
You've talked to Evolve and asked for their help right?
Beginning you should have them tight asf. loose u get the dead wobbles bad. I should know from eating the concrete.
I can't have them too tight personally as I am a lighter rider, it hurts my feet too much to turn the board over longer periods when the trucks are over tightened. Gotta be a personal preference thing 😄

Haha it actually puts you there
my double trucks just lean one way

The bushings are great but not $100 great. :(
That is for the entire kit with expensive Riptide Pivot Cups, you can always buy individual sets!
Exway working on all-terrain board, rip evolve.
