Civil Harassment Orders, especially if they are Permanent, are very serious. If you are the one Served with one of those Orders, for the Next Three Years, follow it carefully.

The problem is when harrassment and slander comes from a stranger there is nothing you can do Because to file you need the name and address of the perpetrator.
They're usually hired for the same reason. The culprit wants to stay hidden. My toxic dad desperate for attention does this too.

Do you help people that live in Santa Clara county? San Jose CA to be exact. My wife has a civil harassment restraining order, me and our 2 kids are also listed as protected members. Heâs been harassing us for years now, and just as of last month we called the cops because he violated the restraining order and now as an active warrant for his arrest. You didnt even scratch the surface. What happens if you lie in order to obtain an injunction against somebody and they appeal the order an win? What happens to the liar? Not a G- damn thing. They will even issue injunctions of harassment on the grounds of "could've, would've and might've". Its so unjust its sick

This was incredibly helpful, Iâve had a boy whoâs been harassing my since my sophomore year of high school (Iâm a freshman in college now) because I turned him down. He has continuously called and messaged me, even though Iâve blocked him. Heâs continued to do it through other phone numbers Iâm assuming are his friends, or creating Snapchat accounts with the names of people from our school and I would add, then he would harass me through those accounts. Iâm also fairly sure he drives by my house often, bc the messages he is always sending or the calls he always mentions my neighborhood and address. I thought once I graduated it would stop but he is literally obsessed. Nothing had happened for awhile until late October and just yesterday when him and his friend added me on Snapchat through different accounts using classmates names, then put all three of us in a groupchat and started saying how âI cant stop themâ, calling me a slut/making weird sexual references, and then saying âis it okay if we kaboom your houseâ. Which I felt was definitely kind of threatening. I have over 100 screenshots and screen recordings of his messages, but Iâm afraid if I tried to get a civil harassment restraining order it wouldnât be enough or him or one of his friends would try to do something worse.

Itâs people like you who make women think THEY should be the ones to have to uproot their lives for something someone ELSE is doing to them. Just because his behavior started out as texting and calling, doesnât mean it wouldnât lead to something more serious, which it did.

My wife got an order of protection against me because I blocked her mother's phone number from calling our home phone because it rang out loud, and she (her mother) refused to use cell phones.
The judge granted my wife a 1 year order.
The year is coming up.

Commenting because I'm nervous for my court hearing tomorrow morning. I'm a 16 year old junior in high school filing for a restraining order against my mother who has no custody or any form of rights to mee. I have a video she sent to my sister of her following 2 boys and cursing at them because I had an argument with her over phone call just a moment before because she was threatening to sue my siblings, father and I for defamation and slander because we denied her request of lending her money. She cursed at my sister and I and called me "fucking pathetic" because I told her being badass doesn't mean it's good to constantly have police and other people investigating your whereabouts and actions. I'm going through this entire procedure alone, gathering evidence and writing testimonies. I'm really nervous because I'm not sure of the outcome but this video really helped me a bitðĨē My mother has frequently called and arrived at our apartment complex unannounced and threatened to call police and get my father deported because we refused to give her money or because we ourselves, were struggling financially and had no way of helping her out. Gosh as I type this I truly am nervousðĨē
