Zac and Clancy never disappoint with their humor in certain situations. You could tell Zac was worried about the blood aspect of the delivery. I’m so glad everything went well and as always Clancy, you stay true and keep it real. I hope we can hear Zac’s POV of the delivery. 😊
3:05 CLANCY knowing you’ve seen this photo, and then all this time trying to put the blame on Zac for Decker’s head size?!?! The audacity 🤣🤣🤣 I love it ❤
Clancy, I love that you are keeping it real! So many people feel they can’t share the truth. I am so glad your healthy the baby is healthy and happy and you did it!
I agree because my mother-in-law told me that her water broke and she went and took a shower and shaved. Her legs got ready for the hospital. Went in had zero pain and the baby came. I was like what the actual fuk!
Clancy, I’m not sure if you’ll ever see this but I’m okay with saying it anyways!! I sobbed watching you be a mom!! I feel so blessed to be able to see you grow and your life change so much, obviously you don’t know all of us, but we’ve gotten to know you! I’m 23 right now and I was 12 years old when I saw your first video. I searched it up after I got my first iPod for my birthday. Then I got to see you tell your allergy story, your Tylenol OD story, the trip to the beach to visit your brother, your Victoria’s Secret work experience video (my fav), all of your daily Clancy college vlogs (especially the ones where you had eye problems, a swollen thumb, and a forgotten sweet potato in the oven), then watching you graduate and move to Ohio, start dating Zac, move in with in, get engaged, quit reporting, traveling, buy a house, get married, your PCOS journey, and now watching you be a mom. My sister in laws pregnancy journey was 2 days apart from yours the whole way which made it extra special to watch you this year. I just feel so blessed that someone like you has spent so much of their life filming and sharing for the world to see. Your videos have become comfort videos that are always on when I’m cleaning, cooking, in the car etc. and I depending on my mood, I get to decide which era of your life I want to watch and be apart of each day! I’m just so happy for you. Congratulations. 🤍 Love the pod btw!
Omg this might be the sweetest message I’ve ever received!!!😭 thank you so so much! It means the world 🩷 and by the way…before we found out decker was going to be a boy Laney was at the top of our list..it’s a beautiful name!
Ok my two cents, I love the scene staging of your confessional style interview here. I know the Clancy room couch dilemma is giving grief to you, but this is perfect
As a 32 year old who hasn't had a kid (at least not yet), I appreciate hearing your experience! Love that you kept it real as always. Never stop. ❤ So happy for you, Zac, and baby Decker!
Omg this was theeee best birth story that I have ever seen on TH-cam hands down! You and Zac have this way of making uncomfortable situations hilarious. I smiled and giggled throughout. I’m so happy for you both! What a special gift from God. I hope that you’re healing well Clancy and Welcome Decker ❤
THANK YOU for keeping it real. Seeing your face when you look at him is pure love and so all your process was worth to be. I admire you more now Clancy 💖 Congratulations 🥹💚
Coming from an OB nurse you are so well educated and did such good research on everything before hand. What a dream patient you must have been. Congratulations on little guy he’s adorable 🫶🏻❤️
I'm 36 weeks, 4 days pregnant and have been following your journey as we're not too far apart and appreciate your honesty and perspective! I hope I'm as brave as you in the coming weeks; your video encouraged me. Congrats!!
First of all, amazing how you are back on youtube already! You owe us nothing but I am so happy youre doing well enough for this. Second of all, I am due in 10 weeks and was hoping I could find out how it went for you before too! My baby girl is in the 97th percentile! Go team big baby!
What an amazing birth story. Congratulations! My first child was 3 hours of hard pushing. My second, 3 pushes total. Truly, every experience is different. So happy for you both.
Clancy!! Congrats. I am an OB nurse and I love that you did research and knew what to expect , you would have been my dream patient . Hope you recover well in postpartum! Congrats again mama!
I don’t have any kids yet but want to hopefully in another few years. This really helps me understand the process more. I’m glad you’re not holding back anything and being raw. I know so many women have different experiences being either smooth and easy, painless even, or very painful, complicated and can take more than 24 hours sometimes. There’s so much about pregnancy and child birth regardless of delivery method that until you’re dealing with you women don’t always know about. Excited to see more updates and all the changes coming up💜
I love how real you are too. I was induced for 2 days. My son didn't come until the third day by C-section. They didn't get all the placenta and two days later I was showering and screamed we had to go in and they had to deliver the rest of the placenta and I was with fever and she didn't give me anything before she pulled out the rest of the placenta. It was unbelievable! That was in 1990. Then I had two more kids. I have a total of three. 🙂 All adults now!
I'm not even kidding when I say that I've been watching you since the news anchor days! You've even messaged me back on insta before and I cannot express to you how much I am super proud of you. We've grown up together, sending you love! Congrats
My baby boy was born just before yours on the 23rd Sept (earlier than expected at 37 weeks and 4 days). Loving your content and that my fav youtuber is going through the same season of life! Looking forward to hearing about your postpartum journey. Sending love (and strength lol) from Australia ☺️🤍
Love how real you're being!!! That time after giving birth is sooooo weird, and isn't necessarily the magical moment people describe it as! I also pushed for almost 3 hours total (With a break like you), and it really is the hardest thing ever. It's the coolest thing I've ever done though (gave birth in January) and I'm so proud of you!!!!
omg Clancy!! I used to watch your videos like 11 years ago and haven't watched a video of yours in a few years (even though I'm subscribed to you I don't know why your videos never show up ): ). Anyway, I saw this title and my jaw dropped!! I'm a little late but congratulations on the baby! its crazy how different your life is now vs when I started watching and you still lived at home!
I gotta give you guys props for the way you handled the extended wait to get induced. Very much took it in stride and remained kind and understanding. Must have been sooo stressful! But you guys had a great attitude about it. 👏
Clancy, I can’t say how proud I am of you (a stranger) watching this after following you for years and years! ❤ Also I’ve always loved Zac and you together, but…. where do I find a guy like Zac? he was so sweet!
I’m so grateful for my planned c section. Never felt a contraction. Walked in and everything was calm. Yeah the after pain sucked but I can’t even imagine going thru what you did.
I’m 14 weeks today and can’t get enough of these videos! I feel you girl! And we’re not far apart! Do you know if it’s a boy or girl yet? Mines a boy. It’ll be my THIRD boy 😅 I was KINDA hoping for a girl this time, but I guess I’m just destined to be a boy mom 🤷🏼♀️ I’m just glad he’s healthy! That’s all that truly matters ❤ wishing you a healthy/happy pregnancy girl!
@@giovannacristina4252 aaww congrats on your first baby (girl)!! Kids are SUCH a blessing, you’re gonna love being a mom and I know you’ll do great! And thanks, momma! ❤️
I’m up with baby and came by to finish this tonight-one of my fav videos ever from you as you interject your own beautiful blend of reality, shock and humor to the (and your own personal) birth experience. I say “finish” because I saw you post this the week I was due-and I couldn’t start it knowing that I didn’t want to be traumatized so close to my own experience 😂 but postpartum this was relatable in soo many ways and I thoroughly enjoyed it just now! So glad everything came out well for you! And umm yes-the husband hip squeezes are the best! 💪
Absolutely loved this video! I was comparing notes with my delivery story and everyone’s story is literally different. I loved hearing yours thank you for sharing. I am so happy you are back. And I love the name Decker. Great choice on the name.
Yay I’ve been waiting on your story!! I wondered off and on randomly in October how it all went. Just doing the dishes or sweeping the floor and a thought in my head “I wonder how Clancy is doing and how her labor went”! 😂
Congrats Zac and Clancy! My daughter’s head was bigger than 95% or other babies. I pushed for 4 hours and she couldn’t fit. I didn’t get an epidural. I had to get cut to make more room. They had to use the vacuum and it left some bruises. I never knew that you had to do 3 sets of 10. Women’s bodies are just amazing
So many similarities in our birth stories! I wound up having to have a vacuum delivery after my son’s big ole noggin was stuck. On the very last push before they would have wheeled me back for a c-section, he came out. His head was 99th percentile and I had a 3rd degree tear as well and several 2nd degree tears. I also had a lot of blood loss and wound up having a blood transfusion the next day. If we ever have another, I will opt for a c-section because recovery was BRUTAL. Hopefully you are recovering well and just taking in all of these moments! We are a year out this past September from our son’s birth and when they tell you it goes fast…it’s so true! 💙
At 43 weeks pregnant after 4 days of labor I had to insist to be admitted. Unfortunately, I wasn't even dilated. After many hours on advice from a nurse I fired the Dr. Mine was on vacation. When the main dr finally came in at 6pm he told them to rush me into surgery for a c-section. My son's head was way too big to go into the cervix to even dialate me. He was delivered and I ended up crashing. The last thing I heard was "we're loosing her dr". Thankfully they revived me but advised me not to have any more babies. I already had a daughter. As a baby I had to undo every shoulder on every shirt he had and put in snaps bcuz his head was so big. He had a big head throughout childhood and at 42 he still has a big head! So happy that everything turned out so great for you all. He's a beautiful baby. Congratulations!
Absolutely agree with what you said about pushing! Like how the heck can you tell what you are pushing. Haha. So real. Also thank GOD for the epidural. That pain was unbelievable, like transport into another world unbelievable. I also had a 3rd deg tear. Hope you are doing better now!
Your birth story was my birth story! Lots of blood, tearing, pushing for hours, all the same. Now he’s here and you are ok!! Congratulations, you did it!
My 1st got stuck too! I was also induced, went into labor within 6 hrs, pushed for 2 1/2 hrs (all positions - including all 4’s which I hated too!), she got stuck, my epidural didn’t work (worst pain of my life!), they had to put me all the way under to do an emergency C section! Her little forehead had bruises on it from all the pushing, but she was absolutaly fine! My next 2 kids were planned c-sections and it was the easiest thing ever lol! Congrats Mama - so, so happy for you!! ❤
Loved watching this!! I just had my first baby on October 3rd and had a failed induction. After 30 hours of not dilating I decided to have a c-section. I love hearing other stories!
I love how real this is. I've also heard that your memory will not remember the feel of the pain. By looking at your baby picture, you are the one that had the big noggin.
I’m so glad you had a great experience and listened to your doctor. I just recently gave birth on Nov 1st and my baby got stuck and I ended up being emergency transferred to a hospital (I was at a birth center). He also has a really big head and I was crowning for 3 hours. Once we got to the hospital i had an episiotomy and he got out with one push. My little dude is still in the NICU but he is improving every day and I can’t wait to have him home. Just sharing my story for anyone else who is a first time mama. Listen to your doctor❤
Your birth story sounds a lot like mine. Epidural didn't work on half my body. Nausea, puked all over my mom and husband, pushing forever, forceps delivery, 3rd degree tear. The things we do for our children. But it's so worth it!
Same....horrendous birth experience, with not so good midwives. I went on to have another 2 after this tho' You soon forget when you see your little bundle of joy. Worth it all.
You’re telling me! I’m due with my third may 24th and my middle son is freaking 14!! (My oldest is 18) so I REALLY feel like a brand new mom again lol 😅
I’m SOOOO EXCITED! I’ve been waiting but patiently bc you’re a momma now! I keep checking your IG! I seriously couldn’t be happier for you. Your entire journey has been incredible. Proud of you momma 💙
I love your realism. I also didn’t have that “best moment ever” my epidural didn’t work at all and they started stitching me up and it hurt so incredibly bad. I kept telling them to stop and they said focus on my baby. I’m like I CANT. They eventually got some lidocaine and I could relax.
So crazy how everyone’s experience is different. My epidural hurt so bad!!! But it never wore off. I was laughing through delivery, I never felt a thing.
Clancy, I had an elective induction at 39w5d (baby girl was born at 39w6d) and I have zero regrets! Also, the epidural is soooo nice. 10/10 will not do again without it 🤣 I also had extreme nausea during my induction, I think it was the pitocin 🤢 What a beautiful story! Thank you for sharing and welcome to motherhood 🩷
Not sure if you will ever see this, but a 3rd degree tear isn’t as bad as an episiotomy. I had an episiotomy with my first because the hole she was coming out of was too small. I have had 4 babies now and I’ve had tearing every single time. The recovery isn’t too bad as long as you take care of yourself first and make sure to use all the goodies (tucks, dermoplast, etc) as often as possible. After the first week to 10 days, the recovery does get a lot better. I’m currently pregnant with baby 5 and praying and hoping for another vaginal delivery. Also, my last baby (also a boy) was 8 pounds 12 ounces at birth also. ❤
So many similarities to my experience too! My epidural starting wearing off towards the end of my pushing because I was also pushing for 2 hours. My baby was born at 36 weeks and didn’t have a big head but I was an emergency induction because I had preeclampsia; they had me on a magnesium drip to prevent seizures and it made me so loopy and I couldnt stand or walk the whole time I was in the hospital. When you talked about not holding your leg up, I laughed because I couldn’t hold mine either due to the magnesium drip and pushing for hours. 😂
Congrats wow!!! Amazing story. Thank you for sharing. Zac was fabulous. Now you can tell your son this incredible story. :) So happy for you and your family.

Clancy the Champ ! Good job ! and congratulations again to you both.
I haven’t watched yet, am now. But I am so happy to see you back and happy for you and your little family ❤
I loved this! Giving birth to my second born in April. Its been almost 5 years since my last pregnancy so I feel like a brand new mom again 😂
Thank you for being real. Congratulations to you both.
Thank you so much for sharing this Clancy! Welcome to the boy mama club 💙💙 I had my baby boy May 30 and it goes so fast! Enjoy it all!
Good morning, Clancy. I missed you, so glad you are back
I love your realism. I also didn’t have that “best moment ever” my epidural didn’t work at all and they started stitching me up and it hurt so incredibly bad. I kept telling them to stop and they said focus on my baby. I’m like I CANT. They eventually got some lidocaine and I could relax.
Clancy you did great❣️I’m so proud of you friend❣️ I’m glad you hanged in there! I’m so happy for you guys❣️❤️🥰❤️❣️
So crazy how everyone’s experience is different. My epidural hurt so bad!!! But it never wore off. I was laughing through delivery, I never felt a thing.
So nice to see you again! Happy you guys had a healthy baby.
Thank you so so so much Clancy for sharing everything with us and I've been waiting for this video May God Bless You and Your Baby😭😭💖💖
Oh my goodness Zac’s parking job 😂😂 Congrats ❤
Congrats Clancy! Somehow you make birthing humorous lol. I would love Zach’s perspective as well!
CONGRATULATIONS! So happy for you and Zach! ~Lori
Clancy, I had an elective induction at 39w5d (baby girl was born at 39w6d) and I have zero regrets! Also, the epidural is soooo nice. 10/10 will not do again without it 🤣
I also had extreme nausea during my induction, I think it was the pitocin 🤢
What a beautiful story!
Thanks for sharing your amazing story!!
I had the same epidural issue. Mind blowing pain!!!!!!! I understand. Good job, Momma!
Congrats wow!!! Amazing story. Thank you for sharing. Zac was fabulous. Now you can tell your son this incredible story. :) So happy for you and your family.
Can’t wait to get home & watch. I listened to most of your pod yesterday & I want all the details
