Error occurred while accessing the Hard Disk Drive (“HDD”) or Blu-ray / DVD Drive ? It looks like your console is having problems reading from the Hard Disk Drive (“HDD”) or Blu-ray player, please follow the steps in the video above. This works for the ps4 and should work for the ps5 as well.

Thank you!!! I was trying to play TLOU part 2 but this happened. I did figure maybe the disc wasn't clean and tried cleaning it the first time, and then it happened again so I just gave it a longer cleaning and it worked. So yay I can play now. 😊

@user-um2yd5vq3m Bro i got a solution i clean spider man cd with toothpaste then remove toothpaste with little wet soft towel which clean scratches and works perfectly you can try this

What happens with me is, I insert the disc, it starts copying the application, gets to 9.725 GB and the disc sounds like it gets stuck and then marks error

For me when i put the disk in and start the game it does a blue screen and to home repeatetly until i remove the disk. How can i fix this?

Take apart your ps4 and make your sure you disc reader isnt getting stuck in one position
or just put another disk in and if that still works the inside is fine just the disk that wont work is broke or sum

I tried to do the safe mode thing but for some reason my PlayStation controller wouldn’t connect it kept saying connect to the the shark for using a USB cable and then press the PS4 but I haven’t connected it says that it’s charging and when I press it it just flashes for one second and then stops

Yes it happened with CALL OF DUTY MODERN WAREFARE install… all I did was use a microfiber sunglasses cloth to wipe the disc
