Thank you so much for your wonderful message! The hotels can be rather expensive however, the food in the Medina and in restaurants tend to be a lot cheaper. We wished to experience everything we could in just a week! From camels to bike riding around the city, I suppose these are set up for tourists and priced accordingly. Xx

Aww..please thank hubby for allowing you to share your anniversary trip on TH-cam ❤. Your trip to Marrakech reminds me of a trip a few years ago also Marrakech. It was my cousin's 40th. There was meant to be a big group then everyone drop out and it end up being me, her and her boyfriend and friend. Then a friend and boyfriend join us a few days later. We stayed in the old town in a Ryad, a bit like that hotel you showed where the rooms faced an inner courtyard (slightly smaller scale), and our room had it's own courtyard area. Downstairs was a swimming pool and breakfast area. Then a great roof terrace. We visited the market, had fresh orange juice, had a meal in the market in the evening, shopping in the market to buy goodies (bought one of those tea pots they serve their mint tea), the tannery tour and tannery shop bought a few leather goods including a beautiful travel bag, Camel ride mine camel was named Shakira and my cousin was Madonna 🤣and loads of other stuff. It was definitely up there as one of my best holiday. By the way what was the title of that beautiful Middle Eastern music feature in your video

Fantastic anniversary trip, when I was there about 12 yrs ago they had snake charmers on every corner. Wishing you and Marcus Happy Anniversary, and many more years together ❤ oh the YSL museum has such gorgeous clothes. I am a huge animal rights supporter too. I just learned that Ireland and the UK have farms that over produce dogs like our puppy mills in America. So disgusting . I bought fresh spices when I was there you will love how they make your food taste. Let me know if you love them. Such a wonderful trip

The way they had the monkeys on chains around their necks, disgusting!!! I just wanted to go and buy them all and take them home but that would make the problem worse! Just so sad! That was the only part of Marrakech I didn't like! xx
