A few years back, I attended a wedding in Vermont during peak foliage season and the drive there was absolutely fantastic! 4 hour drive felt like 1 hour because those roads were so much fun!
I don't say it enough but thank you Tom for bringing us joy with your videos and for reminding us to enjoy driving no matter the car and to always respect the drive.
I skied Killington in my 20's. Green and blue trails. Tried a black diamond and go my butt handed to me. Beautiful place. I'm almost 60 now so that was a while ago of course. And blew out my left knee. Still haunts me now.
gr corolla guy living in Vermont checking in. Next time take route 100 down to killington. I also found some insane back roads near Whiteface that you need to see.
Your friend Matt cool guy Btw reminds me and sounds like the mma fighter Stipe Miocic but you can actually understand what Matt is saying .. and the Civic Sweet Car .
VT is not the middle of nowhere - Signed someone from the high desert southwest. Amazing sight lines on corners, few people, driving weather 300 days/year. I guess "nowhere" is all relative, but still.... always enjoy the content regardless. Thanks for producing it!
Just picked up my Black FL5 Type R a few weeks ago and absolutely love it! Did you happen to drive though Needham about a week ago? Anyway love the content as always thank you!
Kind of off topic but would you consider the Type-S damper module and some sound deadening mats for the Type-R? I know you've said in some videos that it gets a little noisy on the highways and both those things would lead to a lower NVH.
I’d be much more interested in seeing how the new Civic Hybrid would handle a mountainous drive. That is, available power over long uphill stretches. Skeptical.
It’s a monolithic dome offshoot. They were all the rage back back in swingin times. One of these is still properly maintained and beautiful in New Hampshire in the town I grew up in. Edit: brain fart and said the other dome type “geodisic”. Oops.
Driving to a what now
hahaha... When I saw it, it just seemed like the only way to describe it
@@TedwardDrivesafter watching more than 30 seconds that is very neat
👀👀
I have no clue what he said
I'm too broke to understand
this is the weirdest tedward video and i am so here for it, this type of "driving to cool house then showcasing it" is also cool
This house makes me giggle and I was so excited to share it
The dome is super cool and full of potential
It has a wild sense of humor and excitement. I can't wait to see the place when it's done. You can't stop smiling inside the dome!
i dont usually comment on videos but just wanna say i enjoy all the content you post. i look up to you and what you do man. definitely a goal of mine.
Thank you!! That’s so kind and made
My day
This is literally my favorite car and my favorite driver in it wish the best luck ❤
Thank you!

Spent the week out there this past summer, my Elantra N was loving the roads of Vermont.
i love Honda civic, idk why
Because its awesome :)
Yeahhh
You have no idea how your videos cheer us up
Thank you 🙏
That means so much to me, thank you for watching!

I love visiting the factory at least once a year
I got to rip some of these same roads in my buddy's Model S before he sold it and I just kept wishing I was in a Civic.
I would make the trip to Killington... just for The Dome ;)
I can't wait to see the dome done :) Thanks for respecting the drive once again!
Your friend Matt cool guy Btw reminds me and sounds like the mma fighter Stipe Miocic but you can actually understand what Matt is saying .. and the Civic Sweet Car .
Matt used to be an mma fighter!
Domes are awesome. They have a lot of benefits depending on how they are built.
Lovely roads out there!
The Dome is going to be amazingly quirky. This was a fun drive. Thanks Ted.❤
this is sweet! Saw this come up for sale a few months ago. wild to see a video of it already
Never skip a Tedward video 🤩🤩
VT/NH roads are awesome. I drive from home in Maine -> college in Montreal in my NB Miata many many times per year, and that drive is always a treat!
That dome is groovy.
It looks like you are loving the Type R.👍
The dome is cool and all and I like the content, but man - Rt.100 in that Warren/Waitsfield stretch is the best!
I remember when this house went up for sale!
Love the vlog and the drive, super random but I love it!!!
I thought the cup holders in the backseat were dumb at first now I realize it’s a life saver because it’s so easy to reach
Yeah!!! It’s become one of my favorite features
Always wanted to drive Vermont
My favorite TH-camr you make some of the best videos really enjoyed this one
I'm so happy to hear that! I'm having a blast filming these.
ty for putting out vlogs
Excellent reveiw 🐀
I was just recently in Vermont and I’m fairly certain I saw your Type R on the roads hahah
Matt and Karyn are my favorite
BIIIG shoutout to Ben and Jerry's!
You the man Tedward
no you!
Agh time to listen while I work
hope it makes the day go by a little faster
That's soo cool!😊
his dome is immaculate
Bernie Sanders can build some damn good roads for an 83 years old. Here I am on some days too lazy to make my bed 😩
MORE DOME CONTENT
Love the video. Don’t forget the glass cleaner next time. 😂
Haha it got so gritty after the parking lot in the field. I was afraid if I wiped it would scratch the glass so I waited till I got to a fuel stop
Love you Unc🤤

Waiting for a Russian in Siberia to chime in and tell you about the middle of nowhere 😆

Congrats! That was not me but I'm around!
I also own a CW Type R, but I can honestly say I have not yet seen a black FL5 CTR in the wild.
A clean windshield is sometimes advantageous.
Waited until I got to a gas station... there was so much grit that if I wiped with spray it may scratch the heck out of it and damage the glass
Thank you for not doing a MKBHD
😭😭
Empty roads with line of sight are key! Never at oncoming, never near people/parked cars.
2:11 Almost hit a bear crossing the road right here a couple months ago lol
Oooo that’s scary. Car or motorcycle?
@ Motorcycle, definitely a little scary but I was more worried about the people behind me braking in time so they don’t rear end me 😂
Kind of off topic but would you consider the Type-S damper module and some sound deadening mats for the Type-R? I know you've said in some videos that it gets a little noisy on the highways and both those things would lead to a lower NVH.
Damper module yes. Sound meh. I can hack it haha
Type R. Eats twisty canyon roads for lunch. 😂
I’d be much more interested in seeing how the new Civic Hybrid would handle a mountainous drive. That is, available power over long uphill stretches. Skeptical.
Tedward what is your fav car
Caterham 7 is probably my favorite! I wish I had one on these roads
@@TedwardDrives Such a slick car
Honored to be here before the bots 🫡 love the content as always, Tedward!
so far they've been quiet! I'm sure they'll be back in a creative and strange new way
NYC doesn’t do the Type R justice. I have to make a trip to twisty road
Super random question, which watch is that you're wearing in this video?
Ted casually in a ice cream cemetery
Time to stretch her legs woohoo 💪
Thanks to your videos, the look of the FL5 is starting to grow on me 😍
Love from Auckland, New Zealand 🇳🇿 ❤️

Save the manuals!
What is your fuel economy? Most of the time your rpm’s are greater than 4k
I don't know what it was on this particular drive...but I spend so much time on the highway at 75mph that my overall consumption is 29 MPG
Day 60 of asking Tedward to drive the S60R
U like Ben and Jerry’s
I like Tom and Jerry’s
We are not the same
Carpetting in the bathroom.....a morbid curiosity almost makes me curious what a CSI blacklight would reveal.
there are certain things you don't want to know!
Is the exhaust stock?
Stock Exhaust yes
What did it smell like in that old dome?
Just like dust, fresh lumber, and old carpet. nothing potent
We have the Tillamook Creamery over here on the west coast. It's so worth the drive out there, and of course to get a double scoop of something. 🙂
Oregon w00t
I was just out there with Buick!!
drugs were wild in the 60/70s
What tires 🛞
Just the stock PS4S
a lot of psychedelics were consumed there
RIP to all the flavours who are no longer with us!
I'm too broke to understand any of this shit
