I got really into imagining this au, of Phoenix just choosing to rise above Kristophs killing in the mud behavior, and instead focusing on healing for both himself and the many people hurt by kristoph. I specifically wanted to show how his family grows, but he doesn’t leave behind his original family either. Pearl and Maya and Larry are all still part of his life too.
God the part with Phoenix and Klav gets me every time. I love this literally so much. I love AA4 with my whole heart but it is admittedly pretty mean-spirited, so it's really nice to see a more wholesome take on what could've happened after he was disbarred... if only Also this is unrelated to this specific animatic but you've turned me into a Ricky Montgomery stan smh
Honestly this is fantastic..... I think the song fits aa4 nick pretty perfectly, in all honesty. Because while your animatic includes his relationships and shows him as part of something, the song just reads as a 1-on-1 reporter talking with someone late in the aftermath of an upheaval. It's really nice to see him, maybe, processing in a healthier way, relaxing, retreating like he does in aa4 but not to loneliness. And I'm sorry to hear you aren't happy with the art because I loved this animatic's visuals very much!!!!!! Seriously this is a top-tier concept and you executed it beautifully. Thank you for sharing it and not just... leaving it on your computer
