Good specks in Lake Superior Provincial Park close by here there's endless rivers an tributaries. With Lake Huron on 1 Side and Lake Superior on the other SSM is exactly what they say Naturally Gifted. If the Bucket List ever makes its way here you wont be disappointed.

Once I caught a redhorse sucker like that on a jerk bait, and yes it was right in the sucker mouth, weird fish, never would have thought that they would attack a hard bait like that.
Suck a skiddish fish too. I once spent 4 hours trying catch one in a shallow lake. I was sight fishing with worms but no luck. They’d spook off so fast into the weeds.
I once was arrested by dnr while trespassing and fishing. Had the active warrant not been an issue it would have went a little differently. My buddy didn't have a fishing license and gave the dnr a hard time because we were on private property. 🤦
