Buck thank you for being real with your posts. You don't catch fish everytime you go out especially early in the year. Until the magic happens. Thanks again.
gotta keep it reel brother , I want to provide the best info for everyones success
It actually kinda sucked when they closed the Post Office spot, but really cool what they're doing with it, Good to see a report Buck,God Bless you and yer's bud!🎣🍻👊😎
ya bur it maybe better cause that cove they built will hold bait fish
Glad to see you back out again Buck! Looking forward to watching more of your spring walleye fishing! Barry
Thanks 👍
Your info on about anything related to fishing is so well needed. Hope to be hitting the water later on this week, taking your knowledge with me.
Good to see you out and about brother 💯
yessir
That's me in your video at the beginning 👍. Too funny. I just saw that pop up in my TH-cam feed. Now I'm going to watch you and try to learn a little.
yes sir
We jig in about 50’ near the cement plant near Peche Island usually get a Canadian limit. Sometimes drift the mud line near where you are. Good luck out there.
Thanks for the info
Use to fish the D river a lot. Live in the Windsor and Colchester area for 30 years. Now living in far northern Ontario, we are still ice fishing
I hate that they stopped us from fishing across from the post office but the new park seems really cool
I remember hearing it's gonna open this fall, fishing still gonna be allowed there right? I don't think there is a section you can't?
Glad to see you’re doing good bro. Hope to fish with you again soon! Stay healthy & blessed.
I was out the same time. In a boat out in front of that area. Did not catch a thing also. I was hopeful. But still early
Catch and Cook is fire. I'm loving the new style of banter. Nice job 😊
thanks brother I had to talk to everyone cause the y interact with me but I was a bit shy to interact back
It was a great episode
Your fish catching seems to be better on the Canadian side always jealous watching you videos you guys seem to have a lot of fun together. I’ll be in town on and off for the next few weeks hopefully I’ll run into you 👍

Use to live in Sarnia as a kid, my dad and I caught many perch and walleye back in the 60s and 70s......then big bab of fries under the bridge....great memories.
the yellow fries truck?
@@BuckFishes I think it was yellow come to think of it......but really it's the memories of fishing with my dad.
my father and I did that same brother there was good perch fishing under the bridge@@marcleblanc6293
Thanks Buck
I love your enthusiasm buddy, I to are born and bread from Windsor Ontario, we Handline walleye around the grain elevator closer to lasalle. I’m looking into trying shore fishing, have you ever tried pillette park?
I’ve been fishing there for two weeks and not a bite

Thanks for the Video ❤
When I went to school near Mt Clemens back in the 60's, Michiganders were talking about pickeral back then. It wasn't until years later I found out that they were talking about walleye. Good fishing!!
Thanks!
I would have kept watching once you noticed the murkiness of the water and no fish, and whipped out a fishing magnet. Looking to meet you soon. Big Al Windsorite.
Thanks Buck.
thank you for all the support it means alot
NEW sub Buck over on the MI side.
thanks mr geno
Hey Buck, FYI the steelhead are running the mouth of the Ganny now in case you want to drive out east for some action. With the temperatures the way they will be i think the eye's should be coming in earlier this year. Might be a week or two only.
thanks for the info but Im so busy with work and baits down here I cant travel till season is done
This year my goal is to come across the river. I just want to see if the fishing is different.
come see me brother Id love you share that moment
Buck thanks for your enthusiasm! Not throwing rattling lures in that muck?
it wouldnt be a bad idea
I fished 3-4 hours at riverside park today.didnt do any good but was nice to be out on the river.did not look like the boats were catching anything either.
I had a tough time too but it def looked cleaner on the US side
I gotta Steelhead on Saturday
hi Buck, you had a good try today. 🤞Question, where you had bought the fishing long handle net ? thanks. ! 🙏🙏
canadian tire in canada its a lucky strike telescopic net
Many thanks🙏@@BuckFishes
My grandparents called walleye pickerel from michigan
weird how it was named lol
My daughter is finally old enough (and can cast consitently enough) to target "bigger fish" this spring. We're limited to shore fishing, but i want to make sure we're not inconveniencing those around us (e.g. having our bait drift across others). What weight jig do you typically use when shorefishing the river?
3/4 oz jig if you want to avoid that always let the person downriver cast first once he hes in the water then you go
@@BuckFishes Thanks! I grew up fishing a similar current...all it took was one person thinking they could use 1/4oz because, "that's what the pros use," to ruin everyone's morning.
Keep them coming, loving the content, even on 0-fish days.
@@danielpotter828 its all base on depth and how fast the current is , once you figure jigging out youll learn sizes and when to use them but start with a 1oz or 3/4 if your still learning and dont be afraid to ask someone to teach you, I find most fishermen are really nice
Hey Buck, how deep is that water that you’re fishing from on your side because on the Bellisle side the current is so strong so I’m not really sure how deep it really is
35 ft to 40 ft
Wow and it only takes a 3/4oz to touch the bottom in seconds. Ok. Thankyou Sir
Hey Buck! How’s the fishing here in may and June?
I fish the lake in june
Finally, a Buck Fishes video without that bear guy in it 🤣🤣
hahahaha damn you jerbear
How long does it take for your jig to hit bottom with the current there after you jig hits the water ?
thats an awesome , that all depends on depth and weight of jig you use. I use a 3/4 oz jig and its 35 ft deep where I fish with the current about 10, 11 seconds but you should be able to feel the jig hit the ground and rest , then you use the jigging technique
Hey, no papa bear today ??
Any white bass yet
Always in joy your videos. Good luck this year
thank you
Big crappies in Long Point.
Wheres a good shore spot for crappies in long point?
Nothing like a day of fishing to forget your economic woes
its the one thing that makes me feel free
On American size our size of the walleyes got to be 15 inches limit 6 walleyes
canadian no size limit
A three ounce Weedeye
Great vid! How do you keep your jigs from getting stuck on the bottom?
play the bottom like lava and your tip toeing on stones
@@BuckFishesediting, lol
@@user-zx5hb6wi4k it has its own flare and style
Rod and reel your using

@@BuckFishes yes it's weird
Well, that was a waste of time, and data.
