Apparently in venom 1, the voice was a mix of two actors, Brad Venable & Tom Hardy. Brad was apparently an uncredited voice for whatever reason? but the guy passed away around 2021, so Tom was solo venom. Apparently the change was fine regardless because by the sequels they liked the comedic tone for the duo to have. Which you can take what you will with that.
While I’m on the mixed side with these movies, I absolutely love the interactions between Eddie and Venom. They are overly chaotic and so dysfunctional that it’s honestly hilarious, especially whenever Venom gets insanely defensive about someone stepping into Eddie’s personal boundaries. 😅
