By this point in Popworld everyone knew what the format was - that essentially Simon & Macquita would take the piss - so I have no sympathy for pop stars who went on there not willing to play the game
They wern’t ‘up themselves’ at all, they were a decent bad with some really good songs. The lead singer guy just seems overly anxious here, not sure why he did this tbh its as if he didnt have a clue what he was getting into
I am incredibly grateful for the frontman of 'The Kooks', and even more so for his incredibly fragile ego, without it this interview would not have been so fucking hilarious. Amstell personifies great British humour.
He should have just said “yeah we went to a stage school but we studied music not acting” but instead made himself look really insecure & embarassed - it was a bit cringey. Miss Simon’s hilarious interviews though 😂
Painful to watch those two, especially the singer. He seems like he was hoping to treat this interview as a showcase of how special and mysterious he is, but couldn't quite bend it that way when he couldn't figure out if he got Amstells jokes or not.
this is the best interview ever! poor luke he looked liked he didnt want to be there in thefirst place. the best part of the interview is when luke and hugh closed there eyes and had to imagine katy and then tell her that her first album was enough to make them cough of their own liver. thats was funny.
I actually know the stage school and they offered me a place there but i had to provide 5000 pounds up front. That document was mailed straight to Lukes Rectum.
Simon is currently touring the US with his new stand up show numb, I doubt he is installing internet microwaves (did you just put two words together in a mad way?). Fall from grace my arse, simon is hilarious.
