  • People don't often associate Japan with life on a sail boat but the country is rich with incredible places to explore via the great ocean. Daniel Springett and his family of 5 (plus a dog) have been traveling the world on their stunning 55ft James Warram designed Catamaran but for the last couple of years have called the Inland Sea of Japan home.

i teared up a lil at the end when he was talking about "family is being together, not living in a specific place" like that's so sweet

Bryce, half of the charme of your videos is the professional but personal presentation you give. That's the reason, why "Living Big" stands out from the other tiny house channels on youtube.

The way he talks about his future ...cruising around countries all over..such freedom. I understand the whole "easy life " that he talks about!

Props to the cameraman/woman behind this! so many angles, i wonder how many times you went back and forth to capture those shots.

Big smile while addressing his future plans. Makes total sense moving the galley above deck. I love everything about this boat. She's beautiful.

There's this certain warmth and moving feeling everytime this channel presents their material. Bryce and his team/partner really had me since that Brenda, Bret and the couple with a baby with a Permaculture Design garden outside. This channel really connects with its audience so differently that you just find yourself in the end thinking on what's really important in this life in relation to one's core beliefs. Thanks Bryce.

This channel is so different, I can always expect to see high quality videos from here. The boat owner was also surprisingly proffesional at presenting the boat features!

The Wharram Islander 55 shown would be my ideal family liveaboard too - if the kids hadn't all grown up and flown the nest :D

Something like this is exactly what I want to do. Can't wait to save up enough to buy a yacht and sail from Auckland to Japan.

A friend of mine bought a 40' cat and doing a similar thing, just getting experience cruising Australia & NZ atm...We all thought he was nuts at first..But now we're all quietly envious..Great show, one of the better cruising shows.
