about channel 5 (canal 5) I can tell you about my own experience, I saw those commercials and the esthetic was changed multiple times across the time, but in that iteration specifically they were kind of unnerving because you could hear static in the commercial instead of music or silence, (also the old TV's of that time didn't help at all) the silence was not got either but it was better than the static sounds. Also because of the time (and the country) it was kind of complicated to have quality photos so, when you are a kid, having your cartoons interrupted by the voice of and old man, a lot of statics sounds, silence, and bad quality phots, it was kind of like a low-key analog horror commercial
cover "i can't sleep" one time, it is a great animation channel with a 2000's emo art style, i recommend it and in terms of videos, the scariest and most horrifying ones are "sins of the flesh" and "punishment", so yea
I feel like if it just ended at the jump-scare tackle and didn't show it getting up and looking down at you and the "viewer" slowly passing out, it would have been so much better

He envisioned “personal androids” for entertainment to be the future and to be a trend on par with the internet at the time, thinking the two could blow up together. He knew she wasn’t too advanced, being reliant on AC power and didn’t have the balance to walk or advanced hands to do chores, though he had an advanced hand in development. However he did plan to, if not did actually install, an AI chat feature where you could type words to her and she would speak a reply, she could of course sing, he planned to install cameras into her eyes that had a system where she could “see” you and track movement? (Terrifying I know) He was very passionate but his website and internet posting stopped dead in its tracks around 2004-2005. It’s suspected he may have passed away, or was unhappy with how creepy everyone found Tara and left the internet. Oddly enough, the videos of Tara that exist on the internet, including the famous I feel fantastic, come from a DVD made in 2004 that was a 15 minute showcase of Tara singing. You can still purchase it off of an android enthusiast website that the creator, Tom used to post on.
I feel bad for the creator. He should have been recognized as a brilliant and passionate visionary but yes... it's horrifying. I can't imagine living in a world with these things. No androids, please, they will always be creepy. Stop making this uncanny creatures, they can't emulate human emotions and behavior.
