Huge congratulations, I think this is a brilliant pick up! I really like this special edition two pack, the headsculpts are more than decent I would say, totally see Mark Hamill there no problem. The battle damaged figure is very well done and being able to put it on the weathervane adds so much presence, will look brilliant when the room is darker and the flashing lights are on! So pleased you were able to get your set in a brilliant condition, I would have no regrets about this purchase at all I think this is a superb addition to your fantastic set up, thanks for another great video, as always looking forward to more content when you get the chance, stay well👍👍

Looking slightly dated perhaps but pretty impressive considering the age of the figure. Back when Hot Toys used to go all in on the DX line. Everything you get with this. 2 figures, accessories, bloody massive diorama. I've been holding off on buying this because I do think Hot Toys will have another crack at this at some point. When they've finished doing Mandalorian stuff I reckon they'll get around to it eventually. Great review mate, cheers.
Definitely agree, it’s slightly dated but thankfully doesn’t look out of place in the collection 😀Definitely wise to hold out for a reissue, especially for this figure as the pre-owned ones are a bit hit and miss as to whether you get a complete set in good condition 👍🏻
@@TK421Collectibles the prices for a good condition one are so high otherwise I'd be very tempted to pick one up. I suspect though, that if Hot Toys release another version of this, it won't come with as much stuff, like the impressive diorama.
How ironic, I also bought the DX07 recently but it's the exclusive edition. It's one of those figure to some are grails . When they come out with the new Bespin Luke I'll be getting that one as well.😉

Nice pick up mate. I was able to pick up a loose clean bespin Luke a few months ago. This is my favorite look for Luke and so glad to have him in the collection
I was tempted to pick up loose versions but they were always selling really quickly here and I could never snag one. So congrats on managing to get one! And the clean version (imho) is definitely the best of the set 👌🏻 the definitive Luke Skywalker Bespin !

Blown away when I first saw this back in the day. It was £200 and that seemed so expensive then! Check out the Sideshow Bespin Luke which was released 5/6 years previously to this one to see what the higher end 1/6th figures were like before Hot Toys entered Star Wars figures.
A great figure congrats! I focus on vintage Luke Bespin but have been very tempted to get this. That video has just persuaded me that I do need it! Seen the prices on eBay but I guess for a brand new 10 year old figure it’s to be expected.

When I got the Deluxe version of this with the Darth Vader head, it was 300 dollars from Sideshow. Kind of hoping for Hot Toys to finally release the new Bespin Luke, so I can have one of these chaps hanging out with Yoda in his Sideshow hut!

I noticed TBA had these back in stock. Not a bad set, although maybe it is showing its age a bit now, the stitching is quite a bit bigger to what we are use to and i think the head sculpts look pretty good considering how old these figures are. I have my set on display but hoping for a new release at some point, we have been teased in the past.I sold a spare Han Solo ANH i had on ebay to purchase the Dark Side Anakin at a steal of a price, it had to be done.Great review😎

Yes think they had a prototype on display on something, maybe a Sideshow announcement vid from a long while back! Mate DS Anakin was literally going to be my next pickup as a viewer had kindly offered to sell me theirs, but then this came up and a couple of other figures so had to put Anni on the backburner for a bit. Surprised you didn’t already have the DS version btw! 😀
@@TK421Collectibles Hahaha, no i only had the LS version of Anakin but had to get the DS version as passing on the CW Anakin and Obi, thats just the way i am shaping my collection now and to be honest i will probably pass on the CW Ahsoka, just not mad keen on the animated style head sculpt but i will get one in to have a look.

@@TK421Collectibles Yeah, to be honest, i have to start making changes to my collection, far too much and not enough space and personally i prefer the more movie or live action versions but yes the Clones and their Commanders will stay and when CW Maul is released he will sure be a keeper.
Unfortunately I started collecting Hot Toys after this was released so I missed my chance to get it but great job on the get, it's an epic set, I can't see Hot Toys ever doing that antenna accessory ever again! I also wouldn't advise messing with the eyes either, the PERS can be fiddly and is notorious for breakage.
Yeah they may finally reissue the figure but it will unlikely be with the weathervane. Cheers for the info too mate! I was tempted to move the eyes at some point but yeah, REALLY don’t want to break them!!
@@TK421Collectibles Cheers! It really is such a neat effect but there's only a fragile piece of plastic holding the two little rods together, if it breaks, the eyes may not just be frozen in place forever but they could be stuck in a permanent side eye, lol!
Would have been nice to have had Vaders helmet , loved the magnetic hand. Plenty of parts , I personally like the armour figures but it's ones own personal choice and if one gets enjoyment from something the price is irrelevant .

I'm sure you know the urban myth behind Luke in this movie. It involves a car crash, facial surgery, and returned to filming after a few weeks. Hence in the movie his face looked swollen.
ok so 2 completely different figures but this is gonna be my last purchase for a bit the dx16 darth maul or dx07 luke this is what it came down, 2 i need a luke to go with my esb vader and darth maul would just be cool to have there both great figures but im stuck on which one to get sorry for all the questions but you own them both and i want your honest opinion and yes my money but i want someone’s opinion on which way to go (dx16 is $450, dx07 is $500)
That’s an amazing price for the DX07! Just be aware that it’s an old figure and *sometimes* there can be pleather flaking on the boots, belt and holster etc. Also worth bearing in mind that the figure is getting reissued next year with an updated head sculpt (but only one figure and no weather vane accessory). RotJ Luke (I think you edited your question but this may still be helpful 😀) is great but you may pay a premium right now as the RotJ scout trooper and speeder has just released in Hong Kong and collectors want to catch up on the RotJ line if they passed on some of the figures first time round. Maul is amazing btw! So if you can only buy one then try and decide which film means most to you and whether the figure represents that well enough in your collection 👍🏻
@@TK421Collectibles ended up getting the dx07 guy was really generous gave it me for $475 and he let pick from the 2 versions he had; had to make sure they were legit and asked for pics he went above and beyond showing everything he could he was high rated and quick response time meanwhile i asked the darth maul to do the same and he said he would but that was a week ago so ofc i went with first responder (kind of like a job whoever calls first lol) cant wait for it to arrive ill lyk when i get it cant wait thanks for your review helped a lot

rotj luke was $290 dx16 was &460 i think that was a good deal considering what they are im getting them this week so im hoping theyre as cool as in the reviews also i was thinking bout getting the deluxe rotj luke but just settled for regular got a good price anyway and deluxe is only cool for the other head sculpts what would you say on that?
Unfortunately that information is classified under the official secrets act! Because if Mrs TK-421Collectibles found out I would be a dead man! On eBay have a search for it and look at the recently sold listings. Then add a few quid as this was new and it should give you an idea of how much 👍🏻🙂

That's just how much prices have increased...now we're paying close to $500 for two Boba Fett figures, without a ceiling decoration included!

Nice figure set. Th sculpts are okay for their time. The regular Bespin Luke kind of looks like Mick Jagger.
