They really need a 2.0 of farmer Luke. He was the original and I just feel like it needs an updated sculpt and a second chance for those of us who don't have him. On topic, they really need a 2.0 or Luke, Leia, and Han from A New Hope.
I think the only one they haven’t done is x-wing Luke. But an all new farm boy Luke would be good. They could cash grab the Bespin and do a Dagobah training 2 pack with Yoda.
They should’ve done a re-issue with this new head sculpt. But included a yoda so you can recreate the his training scene. That could’ve been the ultimate Bespin Luke. Two Luke’s one clean & one filthy with yoda. Swap out forearm with missing hand. I really like both of your Vader vs Luke poses.

Yeah, I never got the original Bespin Luke either. Didn't start really collecting "modern" 1/6 Star Wars till shortly after the original Sideshow Fett. At that time, 1/6 figures were meant to be *incredibly* special & nostalgic and/or super iconic characters. I set up my wall shelving to house _maybe_ up to 40 1/6 figs one day. Like _no way_ I'll go past that. Boy....how naive I was. Now it's like 130+ figures later, and I need to keep sell sell selling! Too much shit = fuck it all.
Obviously Luke scotch guarded and pressed his uniform right before arriving at Dagoba. Gotta spiff up to meet his new Jedi master. That is a great head sculpture.
It's the definitive Muppet Show appearance Luke for sure! Too clean. Possible battle damaged and Dagobah training version on the horizon. Who knows! Great review.
It looks more like the promo shots for Empire than the beat up and baggy screen costume but it is still a very nice looking figure with the best HS of all the Luke's released thus far. He doesn't looked dazed like all of the open mouthed sculpts. I feel he is a bit pricey though for what comes in the box and I really wish the belt wasn't pleather. Thanks for the review man.
I need some good close ups of this sculpt and mando to call it but I'm thinking this one is pretty perfect! I remember mando Luke with the old hair though looking A+ tho. Return of the Jedi 2.0 is all they got left.
Still prefer the dx07 personally. Head is better here and you dont have to worry about the pleather for a while. But the dx07 has so so much stuff. Also think the clothes look better there. Not super clean like they are here.

You did a way better job showing the sculpt comparisons than I could get with photos, lol! Have to say, Mando Luke is still king. Also, I had an issue with connecting the two pieces of the freezing chamber base together and getting them to light up, but found out I wasn't pushing out the connector far enough.
Great review! Dose this hand's lightsaber change the position? If the hand holding the lightsaber is in the initial position, it is not possible to have both hands holding the lightsaber. However, hand is connected lightsaber.

Solid figure. I like the accessories and head sculpt for the Bespin Luke, but I never liked the outfit (especially with the lack of weathering on the figure). I do like the snowspeeder pilot look though. Great review!

I just see more of Luke in the DX07 than this. I don't own either YET, but I see more Mark Hamill in the DX07. I think the boots do look a bit better, but the DX07 to me is the winner. Two bodies, big base, battle damaged...just. I see the DX07 under 500 often now...I may decide to get that instead..but yeah just my opinion.
Interesting, I didn't know the damp lookin' hairpiece comes on the figure in the box. Yeah, definitely the alternative hairpiece for a sweaty battle damaged look...so you'll either have to spend bookoos of money for that original alternate outfit, or just spend (less) bookoos of money for another one of these to do it yourself. *It actually works pretty damn well even with the pristine lookin' outfit. I just started getting conditioned with watching other reviewers pointing out it's the "battle damaged hair piece" and we get no battle damaged outfit. Not to mention, you'd have to bloody up the head too for it to really be that look.
Bought 2 so that I can mod the other with battle damage suit. An X-Wing Luke would be ez now all they have to do is use the resent one and put the black gloves & boots & boom X-Wing Luke with little effort and I say here’s my money $$$
I got my _'about to charge'_ notice from Sideshow a few days ago. Had no idea it was gonna be out already, much less seeing on TH-cam it's already been out. I definitely was 100% fine with not getting the deluxe. I get the cost has a lot to do with the brand attached to it, but $285 should've been the deluxe price. $60 extra for a Sideshow stand w/the extra piece of plastic for the front, and a (albiet _very_ intricate) head sculpt is kinda high. I mean for a mass produced item it is. You know what, it really isn't that high...I was just trying to make myself feel better with not getting the deluxe.
Hot Toyss lightsabers piss me off. They're dead and boring when they're not lit up, and even when they're lit up there nothing special. Why can't they paint these things, like a bright blue? Or make it a blue core with a bright white outer sheath? Or some combination of white and blue paint that maybe looks great when it's not lit, but looks stellar when you put light on it? Get it something to give it some life man. Does anybody know of any aftermarket sixth scale lightsabers that look good? I guess you would only need the blades because you could put them in the hilts...
I honestlythink artist should rely on computer generated sculpts. Let the artist paint tge details. But as far as creating a sculpt. Computers can do a good job.

I'm not sure, but your pose with Vader and Luke looks wrong. Luke is in an Attack pose, but his light sabre is in a defence pose. One move and Lukes head will be rolling on the floor. The 1st pose of them.

Hot Toys could have cashed on for Pride month, giving us a Luke in Leia's slave bikini. Disney love messing with things such as making Lando pansexual with penchant for banging droids, so Luke in a Bikini would be a natural progression from that.
Such a disappointment.😞 The DX07 is way better than this new DX25 figure because it has 2 figures, a severed magnetic hand, a medical arm cast, and most importantly the weather vain, which is all missing from this new DX25 figure. Plus, they reused the head sculpt from the DX23 figure instead of sculpting a whole new one.
Oh stop. Your literally only saying that cos you dont own dx25. Dx07 is horrible!! Looks nothing like him! Also, the weathering is a piece of cake to do at home. I did itto mine it looks extremely accurate!

What is the amps on the plug that made both parts light up? I’m having the same problem you had with both not lighting up when connected together.
My issue was the plug not being fully extended to connect both bases. Make sure it clicks out

I have Snowspeeder Luke. So Iconic. Headsculpt wise, I don't think any of them quite hit the mark. There's pros and cons about each.
Fantastic poses. This is definitely up there as the one of the best Luke’s. I kinda like snowspeeder Luke best IMO. 👍

This is my favorite Luke fit, but it’s too clean & pristine for me. I may go for Snow speeder Luke.
