1. There would not be another Jeepers Creepers because of Victor Salva.
2. It wouldn’t get any worse after this one.
Jeepers Creepers Reborn came out and was all like: “Hold my beer, watch this.”
I honestly didn’t believe him at first when he said Jeepers Creepers: Reborn was worse that JC3, but when I saw some clips from the movie on TH-cam, I thought, “Holy shit it really is that awful…”

@@CodyLeachYT I said this in your review for part two, but one of the worst things about the sequel is that they introduce abilities for the Creeper that he ABSOLUTELY would have used in the original. Two clueless siblings roll up on your murder dungeon? Push the harpoon button on your truck, chew on a hand while it drags them back, eat Justin Long's eyes, keep driving. Not only should this one be over in 5 minutes it implies the good one should have been, too.
I don't think they could cause the budget was so low cause of the directors past.

The original is the best and in this 3rd chapter is the worst in the franchise.

A positive for me was when the creeper steals his trucks back, it stands on the roof as it slowly drives off into the dark, give me vibes from 1st movie.

Been anxiously awaiting this review ever since I suffered through watching the shit show jeepers Creepers 3. Another negative, among the 8 million they have, is that the creeper is waaaaaay to exposed in this movie. Even in part 2 where it’s the last day of his feast, he still remained somewhat mysterious until the last few hours. In this movie he’s riding on top of the demonic truck staring at people like they owe him money. He doesn’t try to disguise himself as a man, which was the cool element that added to his mystery. Great review! Fuck this movie!!!

It's such a shame, I adore the first and the second Jeepers Creppers movie. Jeepers Creppers 3 basically shits on them.
Firstly, the CGI effects are terrible in this one. How can the CGI effects in JC 1 and 2, that are 16 and 14 years old, look 10000 times better than in a 2017 movie. I mean seriously the CGI effects in JC 3 looked like they were made by the Asylum Studio.
Second, the Creeper does nothing, aside from throw some spears and grunts. He flies around and tackles people. Where is the suspense? The action? All of this was prevalent in the first two movies, but seriously lacked in this one.
Third, the characters. I didn't give a flying F*** about anyone in JC 3. I gave more Shit about the characters in JC 2 then in this piece of shit.
And my final point is what was even the point to make a Sequel to JC 1 and a Prequel to JC 2? It would make some sense if they could actually reveal the Origin of The Creeper in this one but NO. The only thing we get in this terrible movie is that The Creeper is 'very old'. NO SHIT!
To sum up, I am very disappointed.
I can honestly say that I will not be looking forward to JC 4 if it's done by the same director and screenwriter.

@Bruce Wayne because theyve destroyed the series by having the endings for both sequels allude to a continuation of the story. The first movie never did that. It never alluded that there would be a sequel of any kind. While I do like the second movie, it doesn't tie up any of the loose ends from the first movie, and the ending alludes to a sequel and I just think they should've had a plan for where they wanted to take the franchise and not bs'd around for so long because now it's to a point where we may never get closure with this series and the series reputation has sort of been tarnished at this point.
I didn’t care for part 2 but was a a great film in comparison to 3

I haven't seen this, but I have the Cathedral script. I've only read the list of characters at the beginning, but an older Trish having to protect her son from the Creeper sounds a hell of a lot better than what you described here.
I hated it 😠 I actually had a feeling it was going to be bad. There's only one scene that I loved, when it ended and the credits rolled 😂 haha that was funny when you said victor crawley lol maybe victor salva is who his name is inspired by 😎
Dumb, some parts were awesome. Like when he was riding on top of his truck. The cinematography is killer. That shot of the grandma by the tree digging was so atmospheric.
I think it would've helped the atmosphere of this movie a lot if the majority of it was shot at night and we didn't see so much of the creeper. Part of what made him so scary in the first movie and some of the second is that you could never quite see his face he was covered really well even when he's seen during the day, he almost looked like a shadow. And when we did finally see his face, it was still menacing because it was at night.
The movie came out on my birthday in theater. I watched it that day and boi... the audience was really disappointed

I just found this channel after watching the review for the fourth movie. We’re the owners of the creeper truck, so it had special significance for us, but to see the crappy CGI that went into the truck was very disappointing. We saw the third movie in the theater twice in two days. The first time there was so much laughter that it was fun to watch. The second time we went, the audience was emotionless, so we realized how bad the movie actually was. We also got to watch them film the movie in Louisiana, so to see the final movie after they edited it was more disappointing than I could have imagined.
It was super cheap. Basically a Sf-Fy B movie

There was very few moments I liked in this movie. My favorite is about 10 minutes into it when the creeper stood on top of the truck and just slowly rolled passed the cops. OMG it was creepy as fuck
At the end it says, "We know what you are" on a sign for the Creeper and I was like, "No, no we fucking don't!!"

The action had sparks of greatness, like how the creeper was able bring the axe back when he killed the sheriff and the whole thing of yhe creeper picking out the people under the car was also a great set up but it still was pretty underwhelming
First off, for years I had always heard of a sequel where Trish and Giselle team up and take on the creeper, but yet we just got this stupid bullshit, it seems the sequels just get worse and worse, luckily I hardly remember this movie.. glad I didn't pay to see it in theaters the boycott was worth it

"Cathedral" was not a false title - it was the real title for the third movie back in 2005. The "Jeepers Creepers 3" that was eventually made was not the sequel that was planned 12 years before, but a new story. Trish was actually supposed to be in "Jeepers Creepers 3: Cathedral", which was set 23 years after the first two movies. The coda of "JC3" (the released version) with Gina Philips was supposed to set up a 4th movie which was to be a rework of "Cathedral", which, as we all know, will never be made.
Making this an interquel was the ultimate blue balls moment for fans following the franchise since its early 2000s inception. You're totally right: they gave us nothing origin-related to latch on to, even after over 15 years since the first film, and my speculation is that Salva didn't have an idea he was satisfied enough with to cement it into the screenplay. Even in behind-the-scenes interviews going back to the first film, he was always very ambiguous: "it's a man, it's a demon, it's a demon that used to be a man," etc. I think it just came down to him having no real idea of how to drive that origin story forward, and it's a shame as I don't see any future reboots tapping into that integral part of the lore.
After watching reborn it's safe to say that we went to hard on this one

Well I think the anticipation for this film reached beyond the online horror community. I saw it at a theatre that had multiple showings in one night and most, if not all, of them were sold out. Not only that, but they had one of the theatre employees dressed up like the Creeper in the lobby to take pictures with. So there was legitimate anticipation from general audiences. Doubt that'll ever happen again after this pos.
Maybe Trish will finally come back in Dead by Daylight along with The Creeper.

The original story plan would have been so much damn better. I feel like they purposely changed the script because they wanted to see if this one could do good and they to make more money they would make a 4th to finally explain the story behind the creeper. Now we might never be able to find out because they fucked up this one.
The first film is great. Justin Kong's character tripped me out though. I would have left him. Part 2 was okay. I never saw this one.

I still kinda thought that the creeper in this was bad. Like i laughed when he was on screen. Especially when he pulled out that damn 2 dollar halloween store axe or whatever the fuck. It was so damn bad. It was absolutely ridiculous.
The first movie was Perfection!! I love it! The Creeper was so fresh, so new, and so badass. I made it about 20 minutes in to this film and said, nope. Never revisited it again. This franchise had potential, damnit

I thought the exploration of the truck was actually a cool concept. The truck is basically an extension of the creeper. And the creeper riding on top was totally bad ass in my opinion. The second one I was bored with.
I was going to preorder this movie on Amazon but then for some reason it played on syfy so I watched it. I lost interest within 15 mins. I ended up having the movie just as background noise. It's on Netflix but ehh. Ima pretend this movie never happened and just stick with the fantastic part 1 and the bad but fun sequel.

Spot on review Cody you just read my mind about this movie, what a load of bollocks, what was the point to this movie? Why was is set in between 1 & 2 it makes fuck all sense cause you know the Creeper don't die.
The guy who joins the school bus he was left behind when they had piss stop & to slow coming back cause he was constipated because he realised he starred in this shit so they left him back on the highway somewhere.
This should have been Trishas story & dealt with the aftermath losing her brother & becoming obsessed with finding out about Creepers origins in a bid to destroy him, maybe start the movie having Trisha arrive at the farm where the Creeper recently escaped & finds the old man dying that might have actually been worth watching.

My thoughts are...I enjoyed it. And if the audience I was with ( both sold out theatrical showings ) were any indication, they all enjoyed it too. Yes we were teased a back story on the Creeper & didn't get it. Yes some of the C.G.I. needed more work. Yes the movie didn't deliver the amount of thrills it should have considering how long we waited. But I still liked it regardless. And if you watched an 80 minute version, you missed 21 minutes of the movie. Excited for "Reborn" too. Let's keep our fingers crossed!!!

When you make your monster look like an idiot who gets hit by his own truck's traps among other things, you know you screwed up a great horror movie monster. When your monster could fly and he doesn't (depending on plot convenience) for most of the movie to kill people and you have him run through a field, you know you screwed up a great horror movie monster. I hate this movie so much I honestly forgot the ending and I just watched it 2 hours ago. Save yourself the time and just make sure you only watch the first one and forget the rest of them happened.

This movie looks like a masterpiece compared to what I just watched. I thought the truck with booby traps was quite brilliant, Meg Foster was great as usual, the Creeper still looked awesome even in broad daylight, and thought the potential for a sequel with returning characters that would build on some of the lore introduced in this movie could have been awesome. Hell, I think this movie could have been redeemed with a better final act that tied all the loose ends, but it wasn't meant to be. Still somewhat entertaining mainly for the Creeper.
The movie starts at the end of the first one, so I don't understand why you didn't realize it took place between the first and the second. That wasn't a twist.
Jeepers Creepers 3 indeed had bad cgi work done and all we did know the fact that the creeper was an ancient creature. And no one had any knowledge on how to kill him. They could of done so much better.

I actually kinda liked this movie. It wasn't everything one would hope for, but, it was a good entry in the franchise. I loved Meg Foster, and yes, I missed the whole Trish revenge factor, definitely a cock tease. Let's hope for something more in the next installment.
