Actually, I lied. (aka I just tried it with my Callie amibo) it works with all idol amibos (I’m guessing.) I can’t confirm this because I don’t have the deep cut amibos.

So as a team present rep, would like to put in my reasons why we're winning, Splat 2 was one of the biggest influxes of "tryhards", octo expansion was incredibly important to the franchise as a whole, all of the hook fan's were either Marie fans, or became Shiver fans, meaning we got majority of the remainder, and in today's matches I was pairing up with +8s early into the UK morning, in freaking casual.
I can't choose, honestly, exsp if its to decide the future of the next game. God forbid the losers pull a Callie or something LOL. Good luck, battlers!

Team past! Without Splatoon 1 succeeding even after the hatred the Wii U received; we wouldn’t even be having this Grand Fesitval. Splatoon 2 or 3 wouldn’t have kicked off. Cause Splatoon was a completely new IP introduced on the Wii U. Without Splat 1 and the Squid Sisters; say goodbye to Off the Hook and Deep Cut. This world thrived because of the love for Splatoon that was built by the first game and the Squid Sisters! So yes! Team past! STAY FRESH!!!
Uh, if Adam and Eve had not done the dirty we would have not been here. But they are dead now, just like the squid sisters with an embarrassing 25% of the vote. Off the Hook with almost 60% 😍 The REAL idols!! I do like the theming of the past… not so much the bland SS.

If team present had won, Marina would have built a time machine for the fans (as DLC$$$$). And we would have gotten DLC for all themes. Now i am not sure if they could pull it off
I chose team future ninety percent because I’m scared wen won’t see Deep Cut in Splatoon 4 if they don’t win 😭 I love them so much and I couldn’t bear to see their potential be wasted. But honestly, I’ll be happy if team Present wins, too :) Off The Hook really deserves it, I love our lesbians and I’m so proud of them. Not to mention, other than the white splatfest tee (ew), they are EASILY the coolest team visually. Past’s deep red is awesome, but I just love the look of the purple and blue
Honestly I was tempted to go Team Present for the purple and blue color, so I agree it's the coolest visually, but I went team past for my favorite idols the squid sisters!
