This is probably the best english cover I have and ever will see. Nothing can top this, I love the new lyrics you added for the Inklish backgrounds, and the bigman solo! that was the best! (Edit: I also loved the squid heart octo thing in the end, and how is went through the colors of the 19 splatfest that happened in the short two years this game had been out!)
For real, honestly the MOTI version is terrible, it uses way too much autotune and a lot of the tones sound really off. Pearl’s VA for it also just doesn’t fit at all imo

I judt realized-- here at 5:21 , the colors change corresponding to the Splatoon 3 Splatfests!! Im surprised i didnt notice that beforehand but I'm really happy that you added that in, especially because Splatfests are one of my favorite parts of Splatoon as a whole :D
this whole cover is incredible. big man solo is legendary and all the voices chosen fit them so well! but the part that made me scream and cry most (/pos) was how you translated marina's octo dialect at the end. it is such a good way to handle them singing different things and i love the difference in language while keeping the meaning of it the same, like their hearts are in sync even if they're from different places askfgkdsgksd oh my god
