Love the content you guys put out. Best videos about atvs out there. One thing i think you guys might want to mention in future videos is fuel consumption. I can look up capacity and all that stuff. But maybe your thoughts on how hard they burn it up and maybe distance you could cover on a tank. Keep up the good work.
We actually did that and I forgot to throw it in.. We were on very steep technical trails in low gear and the Grizzly still had the zillas on it.. After 60 miles the KQ took 2.8 gallons and the Grizzly took 3.. The Grizzly tank is bigger by .16 gallons but in that scenario they would have run out of fuel around the same time which would have been around 90 miles... Again low gear, tuff trails, lots or crawling.. In high gear on easier trails I'd expect that be 120-140 miles and the Grizzly will do better with the smaller tires.. Thanks for asking that question!!!
I have a 2016 king quad. 750. Sips the gas & not a lick of trouble. There might be faster ones, but mine is fine. & I treat it like a 4 wheeler. I also have a brand new sway bar , took it off the very first day.
Y’all blew this one out of the water Brian . I did notice some burn in my shoulders from having to hold myself more forward due to the slope on the KQ bars my last ride but y’all done gave the ride fever right now lol
When I was shopping for an atv I looked at both of these machines. That's really what it came down to was nit pick personal preference even. Lol. I found a KQ 750 that had a little pain damage so I got it for the 500 price I had put a deposit on, so that really helped my decision. One thing I am happy about is my rear fenders. I notice my friends with a Yamaha or can am get a lot more mud on their back than I do. I noticed the fender difference looking at them. To keep the truck clean the mud not going all over helps. I know I would have been happy with a grizz, and I'm happy with my KQ. No issues at 2500 miles and it's a 2019. I don't beat it up and jump occasionally.
Best atv channel on TH-cam!..I appreciate the honesty and completeness of every debatable difference between these 2. I'm leaning towards the grizzly. I've owned 2 of them with no issues other than the annoying decel pop when off the throttle. Its the little things that matter to me at 58 yrs old, like easy power steering, softer suspension , seat comfort, convenient "heated" storage between your knees, aesthetics, durability, bright Led lights, flatter floor boards for foot comfort, smooth clutch engagement, easy standing comfort , higher quality gauges, etc Keep up the great work....I cant believe you even discussed the muffler and sound differences. Very impressed!!
Thanks Duane! I'd have to agree the Grizzly sounds perfect for you! We really do love them both.. Thank you so much for the comment! Hopefully you can find a deal on Grizzly now that market is finally coming back down to earth!
I tried yamaha, sold it and bought a Polaris 850 Sportsman SP. Its a Monster on Power, ride is head and shoulders above all others. This machine will ride over anything and stay smooth. Its powerful, and super fun to ride, but is very tame on trails etc. I will never buy anything else. FYI, I have a 2016 Sportsman, and a 2018 Sportsman. I bought the extended warranty on both and have never used either. Very dependable.
I love my 2021 KQ AXi 750. Plows my driveway hauls trees and fire wood. Even groomed with it. Never skipped a beat. Also shines well on the trails! Grizzly is a good machine also but for what I use a quad for the KQ was the choice for me.
I went out and bought a ‘23 Kingquad 750 AXi after doing some very long research between them, the Grizzly, the Kodiak, Brute Force, Foreman and Sportsman. Everything I read and watched reviews on just led me back to the Kingquad. That being said, any of the other Japanese quads would’ve been good for sure! I am loving my quad. The power is incredible, even without power steering it handles very well. I can basically ride this thing like a sport quad while using it for some light work around the house. My only cons about the machine is the noisy motor, specially while under load, but they all sound like that so I’m not concerned.
We've wanted to do this for a long time! Love both these machines and it was an easy decision to buy them both so we could do this comparison proper justice!
I had a 2019 KQ 750EPS, I put 2200 miles on it in a relatively short amount of time. I bought it because I also have a 2005 Eiger 400 that is still running like a champ. The KQ is comfortable, more than enough power, easy to modify (tires/storage/winch/led bulbs) and I bought the factory service reset tool so when I changed all the oils, I could reset it to my determined hours limit. I did change the flywheel weights, clutch spring also but it only added low end power and cost me about 10mph on the top. Fuel consumption was never an issue, I always carried a 2gal can in my cargo box. I added front and rear bumpers also. Never broke down, never failed to start, never had anything fall off…. I sold my toys to leave the state I’m in (ca), to return back to the Midwest where I’m from, I’ll be buying another KQ750 when my feet hit the ground. Best quad I’ve ever owned.
@@dirttraxtv Hey Dirt Trax. Saw you just reviewed a Polaris ATV. THANK YOU. I’m sure your hearing it but there’s a lot of us atv riders still. Please stay on the path. Not everyone wants a side by side. Thanks for what you do!!
First 1. Y’all NAILED this video production! Excellent lay out . You and Brian nailed all the important points that I had . At the end of my last ride in the mountains I stated and fully agree my KQ just felt a touch tippy. I’ve done my research and have settled on some Moose 387X 4+3 rims on 26” ITP Terracross tires . Stock is 5+2 and I didn’t want to go 2+5 and ruin the EXCELLENT mud and splash protection of the KQ. So I chose the middle ground at 4+3 which will add stability and meet in the middle of not to much offset to sling junk all over us . This was a fantastic Review that covered everything . Brian nailed the shootout with one statement . “Is the Grizzly $2000 more well rounded better ?” . After owning both it’s a resounding NO. It’s built better , slightly faster , slightly more torquey, handles slightly worse and rides slightly worse but costs significantly less and the cost difference far outweighs the negligible loss areas of the KQ. I’ve got to get up there and rip those trails for a ride ! I was wanting to ride so bad watching this lol.
Thanks Joe! We tried really hard to cover everything and make sure the KingQuad got the credit it deserves.. Most underrated machine on the market IMO!!! I hope you can make it up this way at some point!!
I thought the $2k diff is mostly due to it being an XTR with winch and mag wheels/tires with fancy paint vs the more base level but EPS KQ. I think the Grizz is still more comparing EPS only to EPS only (no mags) as in Canada it's only $400 more for Grizzly so that's like $300 USD. So it's pretty even.
After watching your channel for a couple weeks, and then this video multiple times, I have decided to pick up 2 brand new Grizzly XTR's this weekend. The more I research the more I like the Grizzly.
Thanks for checking out the channel! Definitely can't go wrong with the Grizzly.. We had to get rid of one of these and it was an easy choice, the KQ is gone even though it was better in some ways.. The Grizzly has more intangibles
I still love my 08 King Quad 750. I added an HMF slip on exhaust, Dalton clutch kit, a fuel programmer, 1.5” wheel spacers on each side and 26” Swamp Foxes. It’s still an absolute blast to ride!
Rode both of them a lot , and the difference in acceleration is pretty significant on the King , it’s faster in every way. I’ve dragged a newer Grizzly in various occasions and it’s not close at all.
The King Quad is geared higher which i happen to love. Mine tops out at 68mph before it hits fuel cut or it would go faster. And if you have the clutch machined to give it lower gearing which would help torque on the low end.
@@woodendoors1075 I’m beating grizzlies from the start too , I have a 2021 with an hmf exhaust and fuel controller. The king definitely has more top end too.
Best overview of these two bikes I've ever seen. So detailed! All other reviews on TH-cam of these two bikes never even come close to this level of detail. Thank you so much for this video!
Love the both atv but Honestly I think suzuki is my choice because it very well built, it very reliable and pretty powerful. had my for 3 years and still going strong
Great video guys. Probably the most difficult two machines on the market to make a comparison with. Can't go wrong with either of them. That was me that mentioned about the foot pegs on the King Quad feeling like standing on a ladder rung, but that was very minor. Not a deal breaker. Couple of other things I prefer the Grizzly to more than the King Quad. 1st is the electric harnesses under the seat. King Quad is like a Brute Force and after a muddy day on the trails all those electrics are covered and sitting in mud and moisture. Eventually, unless you get it thoroughly clean and dry after every ride, some corrosion is going to happen. That is what happened on both my Brutes around the 3000 - 3500 kms mark. Nothing under the seat on a Grizzly except the fuel tank and lines. All the electrics are much better protected up front beneath the cowling. Even after a wet muddy ride all the wiring is basically dry and clean. Finally, and this is another minor point, is the fuel range. Grizzly has a few more liters and therefore a greater range than a King Quad, so that is something to consider. I have never owned a King Quad but would buy one in a heartbeat if I couldn't get my hands on a Grizzly. Keep up the great video's guys.
Thanks brother!! We appreciated the footpeg comment because it's important for us to share other opinions and not just ours.. Im sure there's a lot of guys who will agree with your perspective on that.. I should have mentioned fuel mileage because we actually did compare it and I forgot to mention it... Our mileage and range was almost identical.. The KingQuad got slightly better mileage on it, probably because the Grizzly still had the zillas when we did it.. We rode mostly in low gear so the mileage was pretty bad, but after 60 miles the Grizzly took 3 Gallons and the KQ took 2.8.. We were on very hilly and challenging trails.. I'd expect that to be much better in high gear on easier trails.. But still they're gonna be pretty close, but you do get a little bigger tank on the Grizzly 4.6 vs 4.76 gallons or something like that..
I have a 2016 king quad 750 & I ride it like a 4 wheeler. The wiring under the seat stays pretty clean ( dirty yes ) caked with mud. No It’s pretty safe. It’s a daily driver & I haven’t had to fix anything. Starts every morning ( rain ,snow , sun ) Like you said there both good bikes I had a 400 grizzly I road hard with no trouble. But I’m a Suzuki guy now.
6300 km on the ‘22 Grizzly now and just getting around to changing front/rear brake pads. My buddy changed his front brake pads on the ‘19 KQ after 8000 km. KQ has 16000 km Now. Neither quads have had any other work done. Both are very reliable.
King Quad is the best deal out there especially at MLS Powersports. It's the only single with DOHC 4 valves per cylinder and I think the exhaust note sounds better too because of this. Not your normal single thumper sound thanks to the DOHC. I test drove one at MLS and a Brute Force and the King Quad is my favorite out of Honda, Yamaha and Kawasaki. Last time I was there I think they were going for like $9800, probably cheaper now if you can find a leftover and no fees at MLS. I hear you got one for $9500 OTD, that's awesome.
Years ago i purchased the first gen Grizzly....1999 600.It still looks new.....drives great....and runs like a charm. This is the second year for the first big bore quads to come.I say....ride them hard....but don't bet the crap out of.Mine is 23 years old and still has less than a thousand miles on it.The only thing i never liked was the straight axel in the rear....and the top end clatter.Other than that mine still can keep up with the newer stuff. Thanks for the great review.I would love to get a newer machine but.....maybe someday...you never know.
I like the king quad a little better. Also I like the rear wet brakes over the disk. It is less maintenance and better when in the mud. But for the lights the non led head light in the handle bar pod is there for a reason. It cuts better through the dust and fog then leds do. That’s what I was told by a Yamaha dealer.
@@joerutkowsky3261 I really appreciate that brother! Nothing better than to talk with guys (like you) who know their stuff.. I get a lot of info and ideas that make it into videos from this kinda feedback!
That's probably the best comparison and spec detail video since the old days of ATVTV with Doug Meyer. He was very honest and unfiltered as well. Got him in trouble though......Polaris and Can Am quit sending him test units because he told the truth! Incidentally, he always said the King Quad was the best overall quad on the market. Fwiw.
Thanks! We definitely don't expect to be getting any test units, but that's ok. Honesty is much more important... Once you're in bed with the manufacturers your obligation is to the.. We're gonna remain unburdended by that BS.
Very good review guys. Love your unbiasd channel.I also love the fact that you ride trails and are no mudders. a quad is much more than something to drown in a mud hole.I ride Kings for years and love them but i also like the Grizz. Put good trail tires on the king and a set of aftermarked rims so it gets a little wider and the width of the front and the rear are the same. Perhaps a coop mod that really wakens up the King. Thanks for the effort of making these you tube movies. You put a lot of energy and love for the ATV into it. I appreciate this.
Another great video .. I swap with my neighbour a lot and we both agree the grizzly is the better of the two.. the power difference is very close in my eyes but if I wanted power I would of kept my 21 outlander 850 xt .. I don’t like where the cvt intake is on the Kingquad at all but I always said these are the two closest atv out there in comparison .. I’m 43 with a neck and back surgery so that grizzly seat is very much appreciated .. keep up the good work guys and sure wish I had those trails to ride on
Yeah the ride quality of the Grizz is definitely better, feels like a Cadillac! We did the big twin stuff for awhile too, but big singles are where it's at for us!
I have had both machines since 2005 and now have them as 20 and 21 model years, both are great machines that will never ever fail you but the king is just so much more refined where they Yamaha is so raw, the power and handling differences aren’t really significant enough to call one superior. But for me the buttery smoothness and quietness of the king, it’s electric spread of power and higher ground clearance make it my pick. But again, both are bombproof lifetime machines, you can’t make a wrong choice between them.
Great vid boys. I owned a new 07 KQ and currently own a 12 700 Grizz. I am and always was a huge Yamaha fan. There’s more aftermarket accessories for the Grizz. I personally would choose a new KQ over a Grizz. I think the Suzuki would out last the Grizz. Both well made quads.
Been looking forward to this one fellas and it did not disappoint! I was always curious about the clutching of the base model griz vs the SE/XTR and hearing they are the same is just reassurance that ditching the 27” zillas was the right move. I bet you guys loved the added power dropping down to those tusks and not pushing like a dump truck in the corners lol! If anyone is looking to drop down to 12” rims the part number for the rock shields inside the rim is BB5-F514A-00-00, (same exact shield for all 4 corners) you’ll need the smaller o.d. shields to fit the 12” rim over it. I feel like Suzuki has done a pretty good job of managing their annual price increases since all the covid bs started… Yamaha hasn’t with increases of close to $1k each year it feels like and no actual changes. Happy trails boys and stay safe!!
Great comment and damn good point about the rock shield! Yes, taking the Zillas off absolutely transformed the Grizzly! Light 25" tires are absolutely the way to go..
Yeah, I agree about the price increases. I have 8500 miles on a 2006 KINGQUAD 700 ridden in the rocky deserts of Nevada. So far, only needing rear bushing and the upper engine mount replaced. Absolutely bulletproof! I wanted to buy a new grizzly just for something different. After an exhaustive search, I could hardly even find a grizzly. And the few I did find we're priced outrageously. Like the author said, it would be another 2000 plus dollars with fees. Trying to get rid of those Zillas would be hard out west, and I much prefer the 12" wheels. So even more wasted money with the grizzly. I just gave up and went back to the ol' reliable KINGQUAD. I bought a 2022 yesterday at an MSRP price out the door. Taxes, registration, destination, set up, title, etc everything included on new SE+. Hopefully within a few more years, Yamaha and Suzuki will up the suspension travel on both units. Thoss will be a perfect machines!
Would love to see some comparisons underneath the plastic such as axle size grease zerks radiator capacity and placement charging capacity wiring quality and general ease of maintenance. Maybe an at night headlight comparison.
I've done 17,000 off road miles on a 2013 brute force. The engine is a standout on the brute. The v twin torque is brilliant off the mark and is addictive plus with the transmission setup of the kawasaki means its super smooth on even the rougher stuff where as the grizzly needs to be in low range but when it is there is not much difference. The kawi suspension feels very overwhelmed when you push it over the rough stuff whereas the grizzly is super composed at higher speed. Lights on brute are garbage. Trailer and yard work there is no competition. Grizzly does it all effortlessly. The brute just too soft and squats at the rear.
Really enjoyed this shootout video!! Well done. Not sure if your close to Nashville but you guys need to ride my 2016 Grizzly 700. EPI race clutch - so no more power lag. Elka stage 4 suspension, Flexx bars, Kenda bearklaw tires with bead locks. It’s a real hoot to ride a Grizzly WFO in the woods!!
You guys are the best at these reviews. Would be cool to see the brute also reviewed with them. I have several friends that ride king quads and I slightly prefer my brute, mainly for the grin inducing power.
@Brad Anderson We had a Rubicon with a footshift for awhile.. It's a bad head to head comparison because they're completely different flavors.. Im not really a fan of the Rubicon.. It's very solid but very boring
@@DirtObseXXion Makes sense and I'd never considered that about doing comparisons (need to be the same type/flavor of bike to be meaningful and helpful). I'd really only thought of the Rubicon because it's a Honda - reliability - and the newer ones look nice (graphics etc.) and mostly the DCT but yes boring. It's currently a 3-way race between these two and not the Brute Force near solely due to its twin except apparently that somehow makes it wider. Plus the Brute Force is supposedly stiffer riding and possibly really bad lighting unless that's fixed. I think these two are probably better in most other ways but hard to say as haven't seen comparisons between them side by side. I see many have asked for that and you might in the future soon.
Love the video. We need to see more videos of you guys riding them together. Doesn’t need to be a review. There is so little ATV content on TH-cam. Thank you for giving us something to watch between rides. I bought a base EPS Grizzly 700 with the real tree camo in 2021. I already had a Raptor 700r SE and I really just got it so someone else could ride with me out camping wife, friend etc… After I got it I fell in love with how comfortable the seat and suspension was and how it feels like you can conquer anything. They are so damn capable. Your video helps me feel like I made the right choice. I specifically went EPS to get the smaller dirt tires. The KQ seems great but the looks of the Grizzly, the LED lights and the storage put it ahead for me. Not to mention that extra shock travel and the plusher ride mean a lot too. It seems you can’t go wrong with either.
Thanks! We'll definitely do some updates and some ride footage of them! You definitely made a great choice.. We like them both the Grizzly is definitely more comfortable and little better equipped.. They're both super fun!
Finally someone that points out the lameness of drag racing 4x4 quads!!! I have said for yrs what a great quad the KQ is and I have ALWAYS thought is was better than the Yami ( I have has several of each)... I like the longer wheelbase an seat on the KQ.. I like the wet brakes on the KQ...they have NEVER failed.. Yami is more cush..power steering is better..But who needs it!! One thing I found odd was when you said you felt more down in on the yami... I feel the opposite... I feel like I am over the bars on the Yami. I also agree with fit an finish...yami is slacking... But hey...great review... I knew which one you'd pick as soon as I seen you were going to compare them... Both are great machines.... But.... there only one KING
@@DirtObseXXion seriously...it's nice to see other people that aren't sold on the hype of big bore or brand loyalty but the actual quad itself!! Thanks for checking out my vids as well!
Brute force is the most fun of these two I think. The power just hits different on the brute. I think the v-twin makes it a lot better for wheelies and playing around on little jumps. The brute feels more like a sport quad then these two but that’s just my opinion. Biggest down fall tho is the Brutes Suspension kinda sucks. And it hasn’t changed in almost 10 years now
Yea, I like the sport feel of the brute. I rode my buddies along time ago and it was awesome. I was riding a Yamaha Kodiak 400 then with the solid rear end and liked the sporty feel. Now I’m much older, and in my mind, I still want the sporty feel. I wonder if my body would not appreciate the decision though.
Great review as always. I, being pro Bruteforce would have loved to see this in this shootout but I get it, Kawasaki taking coaching from Honda, don’t update, just increase MRSP….these machines are leading this segment. Will you guys to another shootout with making upgrades of your own and still seeing how you feel about the machines?
Great review. Been really waiting for this one. Surprised the King stacks up the way it does. Prior to watching this I would have bet it was no contest Grizzly wins. However with higher build quality, better air box, better fit and finish, more power and 2k less it’s almost a no brained for me. I wouldn’t push it as hard as you guys do since we normally have kids with us on their quads. Buy a bumper, winch and a slightly better yet light tire and I think the king wins. Plus then it’s the way I want it. Hard to believe Yamaha hasn’t done something with that air box. That’s a let down. Need to go to the aftermarket to insure your not sucking dirt. Thanks again for the videos guys. Absolutely love it.
When we talked about doing this, we knew whoever struck first was getting the Grizzly.. Brian struck first. But I can tell you before he swapped those tires out he was worried he made the wrong decision.. The Grizzly is the better machine, we wouldn't deny that, but it's closer than we thought and you can typically find better deals on the KQ... A 2k price difference makes the decision easy, but a 500 or 600 dollar difference is going to be harder.. Hopefully we covered enough points to help folks decide!
@@DirtObseXXion i think features would be a factor in deciding on the two as well but seein is how they both have almost identical features it would be a hard decision based on that alone but i still stand by my comment on the other video based on the air filter and intake defect alone
Well, I just bought a brand new 2023 Outlander XT-P Max 1000r and I absolutely love it! That said, I've always liked the King Quads, spent a fair bit of time in the saddle of a borrowed 700. Went with the Outlander because the Missus and I like to ride together and Can Ams Max with its stretched chassis for 2-up riding I felt was the best option for that purpose. But, I still watch lots of videos because I'm a wheeler addict for over three decades. Still have some old Honda ATCs including a pair of '85 250Rs. My heart belongs to Honda of yesteryear, but this new Outlander impresses me greatly in every category. It's as comfortable and capable as it is powerful.
I agree that grizzly looks a little better, but if you put similar cool wheels, big tires and a better color on the Kingquad, it would look way better. The test version KQ is the ugliest version of it.
I have had nothing but electrical problems with my grizzly I will not buy another grizzly my friends haven’t had any problems with there king quads or brute force
Interesting.. I guess they changed up the clutching and power delivery quite a bit in 2019 because the KQ is certainly the snappier of these too.. We love the Grizzly tho, that seat is pluuuuuuusssshhhh!
Great video guys! I have a 2020 KQ 500 w/eps. Awesome machine & I actually like the looks better than the Grizzly. Personal preference I guess, lol. Hoping to buy a KQ 750 in a couple years. Of course it depends on the finances, etc..
Is had a 2019 king quad and now own a 2020 grizzly Se. my shifter on the Grizzly is definely smoother. The long seat of the king quad gives more room and is comfortable. The foot wells as you mentioned is larger on the king quad, but the quality of the plastics is stronger and better in the grizzly. The king quad is faster than the grizzly. But the power steering on the grizzly is much more active than my king quad I had.
Thank you gents, that was a great watch. I'll rewind many times to make sure I really understand the info. I'm in France, the Morvan forest in Bourgogne-Franche-Comte. The riding is great, but in my world, a machine like this will be put to work (and fun of course). If there's any chance you can investigate and report on how they perform, compare under load, towing, reverse load uphill, stall point at very low revs, any off-balance issues, log rolling, that'd be great. Also, on Wednesdays, we switch off the engines after the first 30 minutes, break out the frying pan and rattle out some banjos (sorry, egg sandwiches) on the engine. So far the record is the Brute Force 750 at 4 minutes from shell crack to first bite. That's a real world test right there ;-) I'd be interested in what the Grizzly and KQ do it in... well done, great work. Bon Journee!
Thanks Paul! We actually sold the KingQuad already because we have to move machines in order to keep making videos but I do have notes regarding your questions.. For work, they're both very good and similar but I'd give the edge to the KingQuad in towing because it has a little more low end power.. It's better with heat too, we checked that and both felt the KingQuad ran cooler.. The Grizzly is a little more stable though, especially after we put smaller wheels and tires on it... Overall the KingQuad seems like a better work machine and the guy who bought it was wanting something primarily for work.. The Grizzly has more intangibles in terms of feel, weight and balance that makes in a better trail machine (in my opinion only).. But they're really so close that I recommend checking them both out and seeing which one speaks to you more... That counts for a lot when you're splitting hairs between these two..
Another killer video guys, covered it all, really great job, best atv videos by far, no bias. Other channels seem influenced by sponsors. I was worried because I know you like the grizz, but you gave both machines a fair shake. I wanted a grizz but went with the KQ because they depreciate pretty quick and people get rid of them for cheap for some reason, mine has 8hrs on it and saved 4k from a new one. Keep the great content coming! Can't wait to see some KQ upgrade videos!
Great comparison video! I like the close up videos showing the similarities and differences. Case in point tge foot well area and A arm guards etc. Both machines seem to be great for their intended purpose. I'm interested in seeing maintenance work comparison. Oil changes, brake pads replacement etc. Again Excellent video guys!
Great video guys. I own a 2019 grizzly 700 and it's an awesome machine. If you want to wake up the motor, get rid of the stock tip in the exuast. It's super restricted. Add the k&n air filter and a 2" whiskey bent exuast tip. You won't be disappointed.
I appreciate your time doing this review I'm gonna go with the grizz i still have a 2002 660 grizz and it just keeps going and its been totally reliable.
I really enjoyed your comparison between the Suzuki and Yamaha.I have owned a few different atvs over the years, Honda, Polaris, Yamaha and Suzuki, of those i can say without doubt that Yamaha and Suzuki are my 2 favorite atv makers out there. My current atv is a 16 Suzuki Kingquad 500 that i bought after i sold my 08 Yamaha Grizzly 700, both are great machines with the edge in my opinion going to the Suzuki. Thanks for your review.
Love your guys videos. Currently have a 2013 sportman 400ho, and Cforce 500. Thinking of upgrading to something more powerful and debating between sportman 850 and king-quad750. Your videos help!
Love the honesty about downsizing tires. I had a Arctic Cat 500 manual with 27's, I went to 25" on aluminum, it was unreal, like double the power and superior handling, same with my old thundercat 1000, 26 Zillas vs factory 25" radial sport quad style tires, superior handling, and still honestly decent in the mud, not as noticible power increase as the smaller displacement ATV. Fun fact, the head gaskets etc. are much cheaper for Suzuki\Yamaha singles, cranks too, then a Bruteforce\Can am etc.
@@DirtObseXXion Agreed! The Vtwin's aren't like some revelation over a big single, I've been on the hunt for a fixer upper KQ\Grizzly to replace my Polaris 400L, and lower end motor parts are so much less expensive on the singles. I have a Warrior 350 as well, and the parts are wonderfully inexpesive for it as well (660\700 Yamahas too!) Thanks for the great videos!
Great vid you guys i bought a 500 King Quad love it free warn winch and 5 year warranty . Dam they are cheap on fuel wow so comfortable great here in the mountains .
I’m with you on tires. I always put on ( Carlisle all trail ) on my wheeler They last for ever & the traction is great. Try a set you won’t be disappointed. Good video
Thanks! The Kodiak is more utility oriented, power is more in the low range due to clutching, brakes are different, and dimensions are a little smaller. The Grizzly has more sporty intentions but they're both great.. A lot of guys let cost be the deciding factor but I'd recommend sitting on both to see which one fits you better and keep in mind there's a few reasons why the Grizz is a little more expensive.
I have the grizzly, love it, but yeah I live in the arizona desert so those maxxis tires are big issue for me. Had some rain last week so that was a lot of fun but I can't wait to wear these tires out and get some new ones. Love the content thanks guys, best atv channel here.
Very good production and comparison! You guys are clear and well spoken, it made it so easy to follow along. Well done! Subscribed and look at more videos!
I have been looking forward to this video and now that I’ve seen it I see why! You guy do so good and 1. Being honest and 2. Not being biased (I think I spelled that right) which is what a lot of TH-camrs don’t do. I personally am a King quad guy but I see the reason behind your answers. Great video!!! Also I know you channel is a lot about reviewing atvs but I would love to see y’all slap some go-pros on and just video y’all going to some where like WindRock. I hope y’all take that into consideration! Again great video!
Thanks Ethan!!! Yeah we typically only make videos when we have something to say or review.. We always wanted the channel to be more about spreading the love of ATVs than promoting ourselves.. 99% of the time we just leave the cameras behind and enjoy the trails!
Hello again Dirt obsexxion! Watched this video again for the probably 5th time! Love the videos guys! Obsessed with 2022 750 king quad se+ , took the old man out today and he's getting the 23 grizzly xtr like flyin brian! Great looking quad, and I was happy to talk him out of a 570 trail. Excited to have our own comparison. Thanks again for the great videos and enjoy the trails !
Most would see the zillas as an obvious benefit with the aggressive tread pattern and height. Glad you covered the negatives of such an aggressive tire. Rather surprised the clutching with the much bigger/heavier tire is the same.
I always thought there was a gear reduction but Yamaha said there wasn't.. Tires are a huge misconception.. Everyone seems to think bigger is better but for us it's the opposite..
@@DirtObseXXion the looks of them probably help sell them too... i had a grizzly se tactical black (a XTR basically) with those tires/wheels and winch. my stock 2022 base grizzly felt more responsive and got better traction in normal situations. function wins over form, but most casual fans dont use that logic it seems
Nicely done, impressive video all around! We have two King Quads and so far love em. No doubt we would be saying the same about a Grizzly. A local dealer by us has both on the floor right now, we went in to check em out- love the look of the loaded up Grizzlies but not really crazy about the tires, or the bumpers actually for us as there is still plastics on them- we prefer the overall add on brush guards. The power steering and wheels on the King is not up to par in our opinion but otherwise spot on. As far as the King Quad we are blown away by the quality of both of them so far - oh yea and ease of maintenance
Thanks!! Agree with all, especially the maintenance.. That's the one thing I wanted to cover but we didn't have the time to do.. We may have to do a follow up as they both get closer to their first maintenance interval..
Very thorough review guys. I love my 21 Grizzly SE ( Canadian model ). It's been bullet proof for the last two years. I use it to plow snow, do wheelies, drifts and trail ride. I'd like to have a second set of wheels and tires for higher speed stuff because like you said, the Zillas aren't the best for that. Likely new shocks, pipe, airbox stuff and tuner coming soon.
Thank you! We just did the airbox on this one and I'm going to put a video up on it, but I think Yamaha has improved the foam around the intake.. Still though, she'll make more power if she breathes better
We didn't keep them, we have to move machines in order to keep doing reviews.. But I'm sure their new owners will have many years of worry free riding!!!
Back in January 2021 I was looking for both these machines and is you probably remember everybody was sold out of everything. I'm a Honda guy at heart anyway I bought a 2021 Rubicon with manual foot shift and I've never regretted it. Smaller motor than both of these two but if you're not looking for all out speed be the Honda does about 55 mph which is plenty for the kind of trail riding I do I rarely see over 40. I would have liked to bought the Suzuki but even that one and the Yamaha were both like on for 5 month wait times. And almost everything I own is Honda including my car My wife say SUV my power tools and generator and now my four-wheeler I don't miss the extra power because I never had a chance to ride either one of these machines you tested. Great comparison though
It was slim picking out there for a long time! I'm glad you found something you like and that you're out riding a 4wheeler!!! That's all that matters!!! Thanks for watching the video even though it was too late to help you!
Great video! Your previous video’s made me choice a 2022 Grizzly SE .. the tires on the Grizzly with wheels for the price is the best bang for buck option imo. Rims/wheels/winch for $1500 from the regular or $1000 from camo is a steal in the long run… a simple tire/rim setup right now for the quad is $1500-1800 or more (I’m in canada)
Very well done comparison video! I like both of these machines a lot, but I love my Brute motor and would not want to step down from the FUN power of this motor. Don't need a big 850 or 1000 twin, but the Brute engine would work great on either of these, and if either had this motor I would definitely buy one.
just saw this get uploaded and i subbed. I love my 2005 KQ700. I crashed it. I towed with it. I brutally drive it on rocks. Yes, it's old. Yes, i drove so hard on the rocks that half my bushings broke and now my sway bar is loose. but so what? it's mechanically indestructible. In a crash i cracked my frame (because it was already rusted) but i rolled he back and she fired right up. my screen still worked, despite lots of damage in that area. It tows. It rips. It climbs. It pulls. However, Reliability isn't perfect. I've experienced Radiator and Overheating issues on mine and I have a friend who used to have a KingQuad 700 (he switched to a Yamaha Kodiak 700) and he experienced those issues too. Turning off randomly due to overheating. And I don't have a Temperature gauge. Yamaha Hasn't had those problems. My 1988 Yamaha Moto4 actually believe it or not starts faster and is more reliable even though the KingQuad's top end was rebuilt at the end of 2021. My friend's Kodiak also drives better with better suspension and ride and it feels much better going over rocks. I always get left behind even though the Kodiak 700 is capable of keeping up with a 1994 Kawasaki KLX250 or Yamaha Kodiak 400, while I can't. So I try to drive it d.soft, but I still destroyed my upper front bushings, and that's also a problem KingQuad owners have had. I drag raced my friend with these specs below and I won by just a smidge. Me My friend Suzuki Yamaha KingQuad Kodiak 700 (695cc) 700(686cc) 46hp 48hp 2005 2021
The seat and the foot wells on the grizzly are so much better. Those were the 2 biggest reasons I chose the grizzly. Along with led lights, better bar position, aluminum wheels, taller tires, better shift gate, a park position, better storage, better steering, and way better aftermarket support.
The only thing we disagree on is the seat and footwells.. I like a firmer seat and the KQs being longer and wider at the rear let's you move your body around.. Everything else, im with you on..
Great video! I will have to say it was a close call for me also but I ended up taking a KQ rugged edition because the Yamaha easy bake oven melted my “beans” on the summer test rides. Too much heat onto the rider for me. (Although they do keep your spare gloves warm on winter rides 😅) Love that Yamaha power steering though!
Perfect review, you guys are right on at every point. Have had a 16 grizzly and a 19 KQ 750. For the most part I liked the newer KQ better, but really missed the much plusher ride and softer seat on the grizzly. Now that yamaha has went back to the 686 motor I'd get another grizzly over the KQ, but I would be doing some internal engine mods to get the grizzly up on power a bit. Sadly suzuki doesn't have the support for engine upgrades as the 686 from yamaha. If I was not going to do any motor work I'd probably stick with the KQ.
Yeah we built our Raptors up and there's a ton of hidden power in that motor. We're not planning on performance mods for these two.. They're plenty of fun as they are and we still have our sport machines when we want to rip.. We'll probably use these more for long rides and relaxing days.
I understand that, with the tight wooded area's you guys right the power is enough to have fun. I also had built raptor, the last build I did on it dynoed at 70 hp and 50 tq, at about 5000ft elevation. Plus was lighted up and had a very light rear axle. Man that thing was fun, if my friends didn't all switch to sxs's I'd get another one! But ya, for me to want another grizzly here out west I'd have to bump up the power a bit, the bottom end is just too disappointing to me. Bumping up the compression a bit, mild cam, intake, bored TB, probably just a plus 3, and a good exhaust system from like barker, would make the grizzly a real satisfying machine for me and if done right should still be plenty reliable. Anyways, again, great video, your machine reviews are true real life reviews people really want to see and here.
Great comparison. I love both of these ATVs and agreed totally with how each review came out. Appreciate the video. I will probably be trying to talk my wife in to a KingQuad purchase down the road.
My father has a 700 and I have a 750, both are older but still good. The footwell space on the Grizzly is flat which is comfortable with any footwear, but I prefer the smoother drivetrain of my KQ and the battery access under the seat is easier to get at.
Excellent comparison video boys. A lot of good details you guys pointed out on both machines. Back in late 2015 when I bought my grizzly I also looked at the KQ as well.
Awesome as always Gents!!! I had a 2021 Grizzly in Armour grey and added the 2r racing exhaust tip simply because I hated the factory exhaust sound and I put 27 inch Zilla's on it but instantly hated how it cornered or should I say tried to corner. My fuel pump quit at 6 months old as well but other than that I absolutely love the Grizzly. I'll definitely own one again. 🍻 from 🇨🇦.
Post Some More King Quad Videos! Time for an Update.... andn there is only one DirtObxx review left..the Brute Force 750. I bought a new 2022 KQ 750 EPS Like yours...then picked up a 2015 BF 750 EPS with only 260 miles.. so I have both.. Im curious on what your take is.. Yes the BF has the power.. But Everything else.. EVERYTHING..is better on the KQ imo. I may sell it and pick up another KQ750. The power was fun for a few months..but every time I get on the KQ I like it more and more
Love the detailed review, as others have said you guys are in your wheelhouse here, top notch. I bought and sold atvs for years and was able to ride and test what I was selling so I have had experience with both of these, the latest being a 2019 Grizzly 700 SE and a 2021 King Quad 750 EPS. 1st, I do hate the small limiter at the start of the throttle on the KQ, it drove me insane. Years ago you could buy a device from "Velocity Devices" that would tune the machine and part of that tune was removing that initial throttle lag which is there I'm assuming as a safety measure. Secondly, I'm curious if you noticed that the King Quad is "geared" slightly higher. If you run both of these machines side by side at a similar speed the KQ will run at a lower RPM. The lower gearing also keeps the overall noise down slightly on the exhaust note. On that same line, the KQ engine is MUCH smoother to me. Walk up to both engines idling and the Grizzly feels like you are holding a nervous Chihuahua, the whole thing is shaking pretty badly until you start revving it up and it smooths out. I know this is inherent in a single cylinder, but man Suzuki has a VERY smooth single bore! Another interesting thing about these machines is high speed trail riding vs low speed. Years ago manufacturers figured out that an ATV which most used for work, would then be used for play AFTER the work was done. So then they started marketing them as SPORT/UTILITY ATVs. Well they don't all SPORT and UTILITY the same way. Yamaha and Suzuki have a tried and true formula for the most well-rounded ATVs you can buy, and thats what makes them great. There's always a compromise on any given ATV you buy, what the Grizz/KQ are offering is the least amount of compromise for all the different ways they might be used. Every ATV rider has boxes that need to be checked to make them happy, I don't envy any company that tries to check them all, but these machines get very close. *Sorry so lengthy*
Great comment brother thank you! 100% agree, these machines check more boxes! We didn't notice the KQ being geared higher, mainly because the low end is more stout than the Grizzly and I'm assuming that's in part due to Yamaha's wet clutch.. I didn't know the lag was by design so thank you for that!!!
@@DirtObseXXion King Quad is also wet clutch, hence the soft engagement on both. Brute Force takes regular old 10W-40 because it isn't a wet clutch where both the Grizz/KQ require oil compatible with wet clutch. Thats also why the belt life is so much longer, continuous belt engagement is much better for the life of the belt instead of slamming it together like the Brute or Polaris does.
@@stephensmith745 Makes sense.. There is definitely a huge difference between these and Polaris/canam.. These two engage at lower RPMs without having to get spun up as much.. You push they throttle and they start to engage..
I have 8000 miles on a KINGQUAD 700. Overall it averages 22 to 26 MPG in the Nevada deserts.
That’s a great suggestion. It’s an important consideration to a lot of people.
I have a 2016 king quad. 750. Sips the gas & not a lick of trouble. There might be faster ones, but mine is fine. & I treat it like a 4 wheeler. I also have a brand new sway bar , took it off the very first day.
And that boys and girls is the most detailed, knick picky KQ vs Grizz video out there! I’d be more than happy to make a payment in either one!!!!
Lol! Ditto
Y’all blew this one out of the water Brian . I did notice some burn in my shoulders from having to hold myself more forward due to the slope on the KQ bars my last ride but y’all done gave the ride fever right now lol
Great job on the comparison guys!! Keep up the good work. These were the final two on my list before I bought my Viking due to procreation!
Not me. I pay cash.
Best atv channel on TH-cam!..I appreciate the honesty and completeness of every debatable difference between these 2. I'm leaning towards the grizzly. I've owned 2 of them with no issues other than the annoying decel pop when off the throttle. Its the little things that matter to me at 58 yrs old, like easy power steering, softer suspension , seat comfort, convenient "heated" storage between your knees, aesthetics, durability, bright Led lights, flatter floor boards for foot comfort, smooth clutch engagement, easy standing comfort , higher quality gauges, etc
Keep up the great work....I cant believe you even discussed the muffler and sound differences. Very impressed!!
Thanks Duane! I'd have to agree the Grizzly sounds perfect for you! We really do love them both.. Thank you so much for the comment! Hopefully you can find a deal on Grizzly now that market is finally coming back down to earth!
Get a sxs pop's
I tried yamaha, sold it and bought a Polaris 850 Sportsman SP. Its a Monster on Power, ride is head and shoulders above all others. This machine will ride over anything and stay smooth. Its powerful, and super fun to ride, but is very tame on trails etc. I will never buy anything else.
FYI, I have a 2016 Sportsman, and a 2018 Sportsman. I bought the extended warranty on both and have never used either. Very dependable.
@@jds5355 That's good.. We've had terrible luck with Polaris.. High powered garbage
I love my 2021 KQ AXi 750. Plows my driveway hauls trees and fire wood. Even groomed with it. Never skipped a beat. Also shines well on the trails! Grizzly is a good machine also but for what I use a quad for the KQ was the choice for me.
It's the most underrated machine on the market! I've always loved the Grizzly but the KQ is better than I expected
About time this comparison was made possible. Got over 12k of hard miles on my 2019 Kingquad 750 love it
We've wanted to do this for a long time!
I hope you can get another one soon! The new blue EPS looks awesome! Thanks for the comment, love hearing about the reliability!
Ffffffffffffféđĝĝĝĝĝ..3😂!
Just Moved to eastern Kentucky and bought a king quad. Happy with both of my choices.
Yep! Good moves all around!
I mostly ride motorcycles and scooters but I like both the ATVS
Great job, guys. Really thorough comparison and solid logic for choosing one vs the other. 👊💥🎉
Thanks Mike!! Now it's time to head to WV and rack up the miles!!
@@DirtObseXXion That'll be a blast!!
@@Sparktrician Thanks man! Really appreciate that!! 🤘
@@DirtObseXXion ask the bald dude if that yayo was good lol
Love hearing it!!!
Excellent video guys. Best atv channel, real testing and not a paid advertisement
Thank you!!! Definitely not paid! We had to spend quite a bit to make this one happen.. Worth it though!
You guys are my go to when watching atv comparisons. Loved this video. Hope you can do a brute force with these two also..
Thanks Mike! That's been the #1 request so we're going to try to make it happen.. Just gotta find a willing participant with a Brute Force..
Best overview of these two bikes I've ever seen. So detailed! All other reviews on TH-cam of these two bikes never even come close to this level of detail. Thank you so much for this video!
Truly appreciate you checking it out!!!
@@DirtObseXXion watched the entire thing. I've just never seen anything as detailed as this. You guys are ahead of the game. Glad I found the channel.
Love the both atv but Honestly I think suzuki is my choice because it very well built, it very reliable and pretty powerful. had my for 3 years and still going strong
I'm definitely happy with it! Plan on keeping it for a long time!
Thank you for posting both of these ATVs🦾🦾
Yeah MLS was great! Yep, right at 9500 OTD! No fees, no hassle, good folks!
Awesome! Thanks for checking this video out, these machines have been great for a long time!
Great points Joe! Thanks for the input!
@@DirtObseXXion buddy I love your channel. One of the best on TH-cam for sure.
Excellent review, guys. Thanks for putting these head to head. Seems like you can't go wrong with either quad. Cheers!
Thanks brother! Looking forward to laying down lots of miles on them!
You guys always seem to provide very fair, objective and thorough reviews. Keep up the great work.
Thank you!
Thanks brother! We definitely tried our best to do this comparison justice!
We definitely love em both!
@@moaber Just curious why 12" wheels are better (how big are the XTR wheels?)?
@@shavedape the ones on the xtr are 14 inch
Would love to see some comparisons underneath the plastic such as axle size grease zerks radiator capacity and placement charging capacity wiring quality and general ease of maintenance. Maybe an at night headlight comparison.
Great job guys. The only thing missing was some final thoughts on the comparison of these two to the brute force 750 😁
We're trying to find a few a way to make that happen and do it properly!
Thanks! That's an awesome build! We're not far from Nashville, shoot most of our videos in Canmer KY
You guys are the best at these reviews. Would be cool to see the brute also reviewed with them. I have several friends that ride king quads and I slightly prefer my brute, mainly for the grin inducing power.
Thanks! We're going try to make that happen!
@@DirtObseXXion Have you or will you ever compare to a Rubicon DCT?
I have to check out the Brute Force (coolest name plus a twin?) but how much heavier vs KQ or EPS no-winch Griz?
Lol! I'm pretty happy with the King! I've seen your vids too! Thanks for being here!
@@DirtObseXXion seriously...it's nice to see other people that aren't sold on the hype of big bore or brand loyalty but the actual quad itself!!
Thanks for checking out my vids as well!
Majority of my riding is in the winter months with snow. Those Zillas are phenomenal in snow!
Suzuki has always been the best bang for your buck. I owned their motorcycles and cars and they just go forever and less expensive to repair.
Agreed! I have an Africa Twin right now, I think the V-Strom XT or DE is going to be my next bike! Suzuki has always made great stuff!

Awesome review! Very thorough and honest analysis. Thanks for doing the review I have been waiting years for.
Thanks brother! We truly tried to cover all the important stuff!
Great review! Now let’s throw the brute force in the mix. Trying to decide between the King quad, Grizzly, and Brute force.
We'll try!
Yamaha and it’s transmission is why I’ve been buying Yamaha since 03 and never changed a belt on either of my 5 or 6 Yamahas
Yeah we will definitely do a follow up and we will compare these to a Brute Force if we ever get a chance!!!
Brute force needs to put the bigger engine used in the teryx. It’s only legitimately about 35 cc bigger but makes quite noticeably more power.
thanks brotha! appreciate the feedback, picking up my '23 grizz monday
@@knightimusprime25 except the XTR had a winch and big mag wheels and the KQ didn't but otherwise yes the same.
Suzuki has the formula. It's on the public to realize

Thanks brother! Hope it's helpful if you're looking for something
I like the styling of the Grizzly 700 a lot…
Yep, 100%! Best looking ATV ever in my opinion!
I think so 2…
I agree that grizzly looks a little better, but if you put similar cool wheels, big tires and a better color on the Kingquad, it would look way better. The test version KQ is the ugliest version of it.
@@moaber yeah their pretty similar that Grizzly has a few more things going for it with this specific model…
Good to know.
As a 2020 king 750 owner I have to say you guys did an excellent job on this shootout 🤘 keep em coming
Thank you!!!
I have had nothing but electrical problems with my grizzly I will not buy another grizzly my friends haven’t had any problems with there king quads or brute force
That sucks to hear.. I guess every manufacturer has some lemons sprinkled in.. What year was it?
I own a 2020 Grizz EPS and previously owned a 2014 KQ750 EPS. My Grizz has waaay more wack off the line and the seat is amazing. KQ never let me down.
Interesting.. I guess they changed up the clutching and power delivery quite a bit in 2019 because the KQ is certainly the snappier of these too.. We love the Grizzly tho, that seat is pluuuuuuusssshhhh!
King quad 750 is king
She's a solid little ripper! Very happy with it!

@@mitchpictish2250 We knew whoever bought first was getting the Grizzly and FB struck first, but I ain't mad about it.. The KQ exceeded expectations
Great video guys! I have a 2020 KQ 500 w/eps. Awesome machine & I actually like the looks better than the Grizzly. Personal preference I guess, lol. Hoping to buy a KQ 750 in a couple years. Of course it depends on the finances, etc..
Thank you! The KQ 750 shares a lot of components with the 500, so you already know exactly what you're gonna get.. Same machine with more power!
What a great honest review on these 2 machines, thank you
Thanks for checking it out!
Thanks!!! Wow that's a killer deal on a barely used machine! Only problem with the KQ is that it really doesn't need much!
Yeah, we'll do a follow up for sure.. At first glance it looks like KQ is going to be a little easier to do maintenance on..
Great video guys. I own a 2019 grizzly 700 and it's an awesome machine. If you want to wake up the motor, get rid of the stock tip in the exuast. It's super restricted. Add the k&n air filter and a 2" whiskey bent exuast tip. You won't be disappointed.
Thanks brother! Solid advice!
You should compare the brute force to those two as well. Best comparison video I have seen!
We had a fella close by offer to bring a Brute Force out.. Im hoping we can make that happen
I appreciate your time doing this review I'm gonna go with the grizz i still have a 2002 660 grizz and it just keeps going and its been totally reliable.
Nothing wrong owner loyalty! The Grizzly is the better machine in our opinion.. Ive owned and love both of them just for slightly different reasons

@@DirtObseXXion there is where I’m leaning. Thanks again guys!
About time this comparison, and a thorough one at that, has hit the web. Bravo!!!
Thanks! We put a lot effort into covering everything relevant..
Thanks! Singles make everything more accessible to work on too.. Single thumpers are perfect ATV motors in my opinion
Good video
Thanks!
Awesome video and review. Would like your thought on a kodiak 700 I know they're very similar to the grizzly

Your videos are great thx. I think it's time they put tilt and telescopic handlebars on their Atv"s. It sure would make them more user friendly.

I own a 22 SE and the stock 27s do take some snap away from the grizzly
Looking forward to your review also. That SE needs some new rubber. Keep up the great work.
I see on the 23 CAD site they SE doesn't have Zillas anymore but sounds like in 21 they did.
So a year later, how are the two machines holding up. I recently traded in my 22 Grizzly for a 23 KQ. Your guy’s comparison is spot on.
Yep! If you like the tires it's definitely worth it! Thanks for coming back to check this vid out!! Glad you're happy with the Grizzly, great machine!
I have a 23 grizzly EPS SE and I love it. Great video Guy's
Thanks! I definitely love the Grizzly
Very well done comparison video! I like both of these machines a lot, but I love my Brute motor and would not want to step down from the FUN power of this motor. Don't need a big 850 or 1000 twin, but the Brute engine would work great on either of these, and if either had this motor I would definitely buy one.
Thanks! a lot of folks love the Brute.. We're trying to find one to compare it to these two..
just saw this get uploaded and i subbed.

@@DirtObseXXion Now I have a problem... I have both my 2005 KingQuad, but I also recently got a 2008 Grizzly, now I don't know which one to keep.

Thanks! That's awesome, they're both great machines! Hopefully the ole lady gets onboard! That can be the hardest part about buying toys!!!!
I remember when I wanted the Grizz…I walked into the kitchen to ask the wife her thoughts…then I remembered I was single so I grabbed my keys and left

@@flyingbriando5521- Lol, I'm in the same boat as you..looking to buy either KQ 750 or Grizzly soon as I dont have a tone to answer to.
My father has a 700 and I have a 750, both are older but still good. The footwell space on the Grizzly is flat which is comfortable with any footwear, but I prefer the smoother drivetrain of my KQ and the battery access under the seat is easier to get at.
Awesome! Yeah we like the raised footpegs but I know that's not for everyone.. Nothing wrong with that!
Excellent comparison video boys.
A lot of good details you guys pointed out on both machines.
Back in late 2015 when I bought my grizzly I also looked at the KQ as well.
Thanks KC!!! I've been sending your airbox modification video to a few folks lately!!
@@DirtObseXXion I’ve changed the air box some what since I done that video.
I should probably do an update video.
@@kcatv9556 Would love to see what you've done on your new Mod!
Verry good comparaison, You are doing a great job
Thank you!
🍻 from 🇨🇦.
Thanks for the input! I think that validates a lot of what the points we tried to cover!! Definitely a great machine!
GLG!
I have a Yamaha Kodiak 750 2023 and it has been great
great review fellas
sounds like the KQ has raised the bar on their performance., glad to hear it
Thanks! Both fun machines!
Awesome job guys! Love the details and honesty.
Thanks for checking it out!!!
What brand spacers did you go with?
