if i had to take an estimate. id say you would max the 9mm plunger out at about 10 or 12psi on the holset. definly need the 11mm plunger for good power gains.

@@keilfestin4606 i will make a follow up video soon, as soon as i installed this turbo the smokey full power tune i was running for the original GU turbo cooled way down. sinc e then ive added more fuel in the boost comp and bumped up the fuel screw so i have definetly increased horsepower.
I really wouldnt be able to guess. Il take it to the dyno one day but its pretty on par with my mates td42 running 10psi. Out of boost is a different question but it definitely boogies pretty well. The 11mm pump is cranked up now.
it was way cooler when i hadnt changed from the GT1752s tune. i have now wound more fuel in and hottened it up and it is making way more power now. highly reccomend it.
Actuator bracket looks like its flexing while testing it. Good turbo choice tho.
that wasnt he final revision of the bracket design. there is a very small amount of movement now, not enough to worry me though.

cant go wrong with a turbo upgrade, the factory gu turbo effectively makes the engine breathe through a straw.
My stock garret turbo you can hear whistle on idle, it only hits 15psi it must of been high flowed dunno but I feel like it generates alot of heat
The stock garret is a smaller turbo so it will we spun at idle much more than the he221 hence the idle noise. Do you run an intercooler?
