As always a great weather mod review. I've been running Obsidian with True Storms and the Spectral patch. Your video convinced me to switch to the Luminous patch. Thanks for taking the time to such an in depth tryout of mods, especially weather mods. The climate and weather experience can make or break Skyrim.
Just wanted to tell you how much I appreciate your hard work and in depth info on all these mods. This is the kind of information that's extremely helpful. I don't have the time nor the patience to go through and trouble shoot mods, comparing and contrasting and figuring out how to get the best out of them. I’ve started using this mod for the first time and I have to admit, it looks really amazing.I might tweak the tint a little.On one of the modding community sites someone noted that True Storms conflicts with all ingredients mods! You really deserve more subs😛
Great video mate! I found the nights a bit too bright but in the other hand the "White Rain" looks bad in a dark setting. I wished they greyed out the white laserbeams in the weather mods. Best rainstorm I've seen is the elfx weather one. Just amazing but also unplayable because it crushes your framerate. So many dilemmas for these mods. Love this one though, I skip seasons for variety. This mod looks like a PC enb is involved. That is great cause atm i play on my xbox one x. Damn rant.
I,m on Xbox and I find allot of weather mods make the nights much to dark. I get some people like this but for me it’s to much. I’d like to see brighter nights options or a mod that adds this in. Most of the daytime stuff is absolutely fantastic and I’m amazed but what some of the modding community creates.

Cristopher Burgos, I’ve tried it. It keeps vanilla atmosphere but increases saturation to mirror that of ELFX and divine interiors. I prefer a less orange interior, but yes, it is a nice mod. :)
Does anyone else have issues with the god rays or volumetric when using this mod? I love everything about it except for the fact that I get these weird lines of color across the sky and horizon whenever it’s foggy and it appears to follow the same path as the sun. It’s very distracting but otherwise I love the overall look of this mod.
Are you simply clicking "a" button when you find it under powers? I feel stupid, but nothing happens. It just our an empty triangle next to it. And so I tried to equip it to right trigger. But then when I use right trigger, nothing happens.
Hey Turbo...curious if you plan to showcase JK's All-in-One overhaul? Maybe combine that with Obsidian/TS, and other textures to go along with the GP mods like a form of Farmhouse wood, trees etc....unless you have already and I'm just being lazy.😉
Great video as always! I like Obsidian weather a lot during the day, but this mod has a serious problem with night times: all appear washed out and generally too clear. In places with a lot of snow, sometime, I can't recognize if it's a cloudy day or night! This mod absolutely need to add a darker night option or a patch for it. P.s.: I didn't started from a new game but I've just cancelled my previous weather mod and installed Obsidian... Could be the cause of my (too) clear night? Or maybe I need to modify my LO

Have you found a way to get rid of blinding whiteness in snow covered areas? I had to switch back to aequinoctium after going to windhelm, I couldn't see anything with obsidian there.
Tru 2 gaming, in some fog, yes. Some weather mods seem to do this. It drives me crazy and is typically a reason I wont use weather mods that have them. Some weather mods have this worse than others. This only seems to happen at certain times with Obsidian.
Tru 2 gaming, divine, mythical ages, and obsidian are the ones I can think of that have lines. Unless true storms overwrites then which it does when I put it under True Storms.
I'm sure you get asked this alot, but have you considered doing a SE let's play? You have a very dedicated fan base...and I'm sure I personally haven't seen more than 1 decent console based LP. Then again I know nothing about recording and rendering software for consoles...so I could be talking nonsense here😂
Gone Turbo I know time is probably a main concern..it would be for me I know working 40-55 hours a week. Meaning time permitting, build your LO, create a character(think: like Gopher's lp's), etc. In all honesty its about graphics, story and character development and I know it's not as easy with the console's 5GB limit(or 150 mod limit). But you have a solid voice that I see translating over to a character.
I'm using divine atmosphere right now. But the fantasy feeling is kinda tiring me out now. I really enjoy how obsidian looks. Do you think that I can change weather mods mid-game? I've searched it up but I'm not sure I understand the results. Can you help?

Yes you can switch out. Just do a hard reset.

@@hithere439 graphics pack just had an update where assets 1 and 2 are eliminated. The update puts them both in the one main pack.

enter name here, Vivid Weathers SE is great. Typically a little contrast. It depends on what you want your shot to look like.
