My mum used to make this urundai with kadalai parupu/channa dal. Soaked it and grind it coarsly and mixed with the mutton and rest of the ingredients and with one beaten egg. My mil used boiled mashed potato and egg as the binding agent without the dal. Was nice too. Thank u, very nice version.
