    Remember learning about all the different phases of cellular division in high-school. It looks more amazing than I could have imagined live.

      it takes from 40 to 60 minutes for mitosis to happen and this is just shows metaphase to telophase, but yeah its a lot shorter than interphase

      @@michaelmodernsonicfan5341 my friend if it were to take 24 hours for a single cell to divide we would simply die due to the lack of important cells out chemistry needs to keep us away from chemical equilibrium

    This is so beautiful and fascinating to me. I love this view especially because you can see something pulling the dna--it looks more practical and less like magic in other views that only show the chromosomes themselves.
    But it's still magical. Such a lovely, weird dance of dna.

    • @SuicideSeason4545
      @SuicideSeason4545 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Those tendrils are actually pulling the chromosomes! Briefly chromosomes bunch up and become visible to microscopes which is how we know how they look like :)

    The one that make copy error is awesome. Fascinating but also terrifying, because that cell is now has imperfect copy of it's own. Like how much the probability of it to become cancerous?

    • @NevinJoji123
      @NevinJoji123 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      What is Mitosis? There are various structures within the cell, but many are too difficult to see. ... If you have a microscope (400x) and a properly stained slide of the Onion root tip (or Allium root tip), you can see the phases in different cells, frozen in time.

      Usually if the cell divides into 2 daughter cells (which are diploid) it's most likely going to be seen as somatic cells which (correct me if im wrong) are like body cells, skin cells, etc. So it's basically happening all over your body.
