@@michaelmodernsonicfan5341 my friend if it were to take 24 hours for a single cell to divide we would simply die due to the lack of important cells out chemistry needs to keep us away from chemical equilibrium
This is so beautiful and fascinating to me. I love this view especially because you can see something pulling the dna--it looks more practical and less like magic in other views that only show the chromosomes themselves. But it's still magical. Such a lovely, weird dance of dna.
Those tendrils are actually pulling the chromosomes! Briefly chromosomes bunch up and become visible to microscopes which is how we know how they look like :)
The one that make copy error is awesome. Fascinating but also terrifying, because that cell is now has imperfect copy of it's own. Like how much the probability of it to become cancerous?
What is Mitosis? There are various structures within the cell, but many are too difficult to see. ... If you have a microscope (400x) and a properly stained slide of the Onion root tip (or Allium root tip), you can see the phases in different cells, frozen in time.
Usually if the cell divides into 2 daughter cells (which are diploid) it's most likely going to be seen as somatic cells which (correct me if im wrong) are like body cells, skin cells, etc. So it's basically happening all over your body.

Remember learning about all the different phases of cellular division in high-school. It looks more amazing than I could have imagined live.
"Im afraid we must go on our own ways, *SPLIT*"
I want to see what's over here! >:(
Dude, mitosis is just chromosomes getting divorced
It's amazing that it took me 2 hours to learn a thing which happens in 2 sceonds
I’m 99% sure it takes 24 hours and tha it’s time lapsed
It actually takes a lot more than 2 seconds, this video its a time lapsed!:)
Only 40 minutes it's not that hard
it takes from 40 to 60 minutes for mitosis to happen and this is just shows metaphase to telophase, but yeah its a lot shorter than interphase

The weird thing is I searched this out of curiosity lol
Same🤣learn this in my biology class and wondered how it looked irl
I would say that curiosity makes it rather natural thing than weird
its so cool how you can even see the spindle fibres
This is really crazy and amazing to watch

everything has order in the universe, even at the microscopic level. it's humbling.
For now.

even at the particle level ;) but also not

Very low probability
The lysosomes kill most of the cells having copy error
Whoa, this blows my mind away!
سبحانك ربي ما خلقت هذا عبثا
What is it at 0:16? Why were the chromosomes divided into three groups instead of two?
Cancer cell
0:16 how did it divide into 3 daughter cells?
Triploid cell?
It's a cancer cell. I looked it up as soon as I saw it, too :)

Wow when the spindle pitched it was so nice

is there any way to differentiate meiosis and mitosis under microscope?

This needs more context. What type of cells are these, and from what organism?
looks like general animal cells
Fascinating.
Deus realmente tinha plano para todos os organismos 🙏
god is oversimplified explanation when people struggle to give precise answer for what happens or when they are too lazy to learn and discover things
WHAT THATS SOOOO CRAZY
Real time?
In what part of the body is this happening? I mean, is this image based on muscle fibers or something?
Probably epithelial cells in a petri dish.

Pig cells.
It looks like someone is turning into the hulk
Does this video has any copyrights?
This, to me, explains the multiverse, the Big Bang, and the expanding universe, simultaneously. It’s a fun thought, anyway.
Thats crazyyyy
Does it really happen this fast?
time lapse
what would happen if someones cells divided slower than normal, would they age slower?
hahha !!
red = DNA green = microtubules?
Yup
Alex Greene yea the spindle fibres
Spindle fibres
Yeah!!

Chromozones
Nice
Mükemmel ya
but like what are the green and red things
the red is the chromatids, light green are spindle fibres, dark green are cytoplasm
Does someone know what each color in this video represents? The dark green, the bright green and the red?
Red - chromatids
Dark green - cytoplasm
Light green - nuclear pole
