One centimeter? I will make a wireless mouse.

1cm accuracy at 20Hz is seriously impressive! The $220 price tag for that particular unit is hefty though. I hope prices will come down eventually just as they did with IMUs. Thanks for the video!

And you need two of those...
For the reletive comparison of Rtk

$220 seems pricey until you consider we've been putting RTK receivers in NASCAR that run closer to $20,000. I'm absolutely amazed at how far they've come down already.

Great rundown! Already dreaming up ideas for 1cm accuracy...

Great overview. Maybe adding a presentation on increasing accuracy (time or position) via GPSDO, Differential GPS and integrating with location info from like a WiFi source or other known reference position would be an awesome presentation too. Then again... with the RTK systems now days isn't so needed. Nice, overview.

Hello, great information. I have a question, the gnss boards can display state plane coordinates?

My crazy idea of the moment is to use accurate GPS to assist in leveling ground for garages, pole barns, shop buildings. This could range anywhere from visual indicators for equipment operators to fully automated bobcat type of equipment. I believe larger dozers already have something like this available. The idea is to lay out the area for the building, perhaps mow it or something to get data for elevation, then move earth from the high spots to the low spots until all is level. If you want it dug out for the rock and concrete, just specify the depth. A full automatic version would probably cost more in safety sensors and equipment than automation controls though.

ZED-F9P! 1 cm accuracy is really great, the price seems to have go up though, although I should say even at its current price ( $275 ), with that accuracy, it's a good deal!

does anyone here know does 1 Hz mean once reading every second from lock or does it mean 1 epoch from an exact second(0'01" as opposed to 0' 01.356345") ... I have used a cell phone to fool around with 1 second epochs, only to find the time is not sychronized to each individual second marks ... that is multiple GPS units(cell phones), records at different parts of a second ....
Sats can move quite a bit in 1/2 second ...

Very useful cheers, but it would have been better to start with a list of the boards and prices, just to orient the viewer to what you were talking about.

hoping you did more in new orleans than french quarter. your loc there puts you in MSY, baggage claim?
you have contraband tech there, tech and jobs related to them seem to be forbidden.
is the 1cm, LOS or general triangulation (in a building or not)

Is 1 cm the best (rare case), typical, or guarantee so long as the person is outdoors?

    • @ajaipal1
      @ajaipal1 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Best case scenario. ..
      on a clear day , ...
      Open environment. ....
No tall building on the sides. ( reflection of satt signal)
Best location. ... in the middle of a sea😀😂😂
Take it to be within 2 inches for zf9..
And within 4-6 inch for m8p2 .. outside a city environment (tall building )
Even then, Thats not bad if you are measuring something couple of miles apart.
After 20- 30 mile radius accurate will begin to fall in rtk even in best case.
Anyways 1mm accuracy means 1mm either to right or left of the actual spot.. meaning 2mm resolution, 2 point in rtk can be off by 2 mm if both points are off by 1mm each in opposite direction. ..
But the probability of that is also low, just as beeing spot on is also low. Both can be considered rare occurrence

where can we suggest a video? maybe you dont want us to suggest a video... anyway cost effective, discrete medium range rfid, like 1-3 meters range detection. I know vague
