    Hello,
    I'm Lakshmanan from chennai, Civil Contractor. I accept your view that AAC has higher strength than Bricks. But,
    Density of a brick is higher than AAC block so obviously it would break when we drop from that height... It's not a correct comparison...please clarify

    • @Hireandbuild
      @Hireandbuild  3 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      Agreed, but common people are measuring strength of the building by strength of bricks whereas the strength entirely depends on RCC framed structure. So we had to show this simple comparison which can be done in site by any layman, there are lots of videos showing compression test, water absorption test etc.

    Can we use porotherm bricks for construction? Wat are the pros and cons?

    • @Hireandbuild

      Absolutely! Porotherm bricks can be used for construction. They have several pros, such as good thermal insulation, high strength, and faster construction time. However, it's important to consider factors like cost and availability. We will cover all the pros and cons in detail in our upcoming video. Stay tuned for more information!

    Drop test is not the test that needs to be used to check the actual load conditions. The application of the brick causes compressive loads. So if you need to genuinely compare the products give the compressive load carrying strength of the aac and red brick.

    How much is the temperature lowered with AAC blocks vs bricks on average?

    • @Hireandbuild

      AAC (Autoclaved Aerated Concrete) blocks provide better thermal insulation than traditional bricks, resulting in a lower temperature inside the building. The exact temperature difference will depend on various factors and conditions.

    Bricks projects less heat than cement blocks, for weather condition like in Tamil Nadu bricks are better. Always Try to use maximum natural material. Let them use in Sweden based on their soil and climatic conditions, but it's always better to choose for our soil and climatic conditions. Aathangudi tiles are better than ceramic vitrified tiles likewise

    • @Hireandbuild

      Sir, we are not against traditional methods of construction. If we are stuck with only traditional methods of construction we should build houses only with stones and hut. Even bricks are not traditional construction materials. So let's not blindly reject new technologies. If they have benefits in it we have to welcome new technologies.

    Sir my home foundation is in half column,can I use this block G+1 floor

    • @Hireandbuild
      @Hireandbuild  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, it is possible to use blocks for constructing a G+1 floor on a half-column foundation. However, it is important to consult with a qualified structural engineer or an architect to assess the feasibility and safety of such construction. They can evaluate the existing foundation and provide guidance on the appropriate design and structural considerations for adding additional floors.

    I like the transparency with which you do business. Congratulations!
    I've a couple of questions. Merely to know about pros/cons of one against the other.
    1. Can AAC Block allow nails on the wall as comfortably as bricks?
    2. Why then you have used bricks for foundation construction?

    • @Hireandbuild
      @Hireandbuild  3 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      Thanks for supporting us :)
      1. Yes it can be done
      2. In basement more weight is required to hold the soil pressure, since AAC blocks is light weight it cannot be used there
