Good test just think you are testing things that are not real-world usage like driving in the dark with no lights on or detection of disabled spaces. If you don't know this is all processed in real time so it focuses on priorities and the direction you are traveling. Also I know you know but for the grass detection, I would have reported a bug ( maybe you did) only way things will improve is by telling Tesla.
I was once driving on a dirt road to a campsite at night. It was pitch black. We have kangaroos and other animals here so I wanted to turn on the high beams but I could not for the love of me figure out how to keep them on. It was incredibly frustrating and to be fair dangerous. I kept my hand on the stalk pulling all the time, otherwise they would turn off. I can't even imagine how frustrating that would be without stalks.
Its a werewolf. Plus it can see dead people. The system is amazing, next lets test it falling out of a plane or how it reacts driving in the ocean. Can it do a round about?
Interesting see it but not sure there's any benefit of using it. Especially if it just guessed there was parking spaces, when it was actually a kerbed grass area.
Strong opinion for someone with 10 minutes testing under their belt. If you actually live with it for a bit it’s pretty good. It has issues, some of which are must fixes for the long term not nice to haves, but overall it’s better than USS in many respects already.
@@Andy-sj2hlsure it's better than USS in many ways, I love the 3d generated world but given the choice, I would trust the USS 100% whereas I can't with this at its current state.
I’ve never had another car that will show this no, last German car I owned was a 2015 i8 which had birdseye view and uss, but I think that’s the point, this has no radar and is only using vision to create this data which is very impressive
@@TeslaDriver but it is useless. Especially once you park the car and an obstacle is placed in front or behind the car. An example is a flower pot or a person. The vehicle must move to recognize the obstacle. When you move, it's too late because you crash. By the way, why do objects vibrate as if they are moving? @@TeslaDriver there is a channel called Wham Bam Teslacam showing mainly US Teslacam videos of crashes or funny Tesla situations on den road. I guess someone thoght he was on a different Tesla Channel. 😂
I’ve a wonderful idea: why not have a little lever next to the wheel. You could have the car go forward if it’s pushed one way, backwards if pulled the other way. Call it a “stalk”. Stop this insanity of solving non-existent problems when the present software is so shonky and shows no sign of getting better.
I did about 4 days before I filmed this, my last video I went and bought the fuel for the mower 😂 but tbh a bit of short grass shouldn’t be an issue for it to really work
TBF I thought that was a frickin' werewolf @2:30 so the Tesla got it right with the half man half dog thing.
It normally shows him as a person on a bike 😂
Have you ever stopped to realize that that's not a dog but a wolf? :)
It looked like a hyena...
I was just thinking that myself. I said to my wife. He doesn’t have a dog, he has a wolf
Looks very stiff in the hips.
Tesla identified it as a werewolf 😂
Cool werewolf.
Tbh I don't like not having the wiper sticks and the proximity sensors but hopefully they'll put them back on and the lights didn't seem too bright
Lights are honestly amazing irl
Looks like its using some kind of a neural implicit represenation (e.g. NeRF)
An airshow or any sort of public event where the parking is on grass would be an issue. I hope there is some way of turning the grass warnings off.

You can't fix dumb It's a button away and to change/flash lights without stalk you just press the button

Might be able to fall out a plane and Elon said it could be a boat temporarily but 100% can’t do a roundabout

No there is no benefit, looks cool but less useful than the old USS

An update is coming, please be patient.😅
They just don't get it. It's not fit for purpose. It hasnt been for years. They need to introduce HD radar.
@@glueautomation-solutioneng3609hasn't been for years - this was an update in January. I think you are confusing this update with pre release.
What country is this?
going by the accent its the UK
You know you can just call them headlights
Cmon mate. Have you driven any German cars with real radar? You don't get false alerts and it's smooth af.

I sent in a wham bam submission… I would like to know if it will be accepted
This isn’t wham bam wrong channel
Wtf is a wham bam submission? 😂

This video and wham baam’s video were upload, as of now, 6 hours ago. So I think he just commented on this video instead of the wham baam video.
And no autopark.
Yeh that is the crazy part
It's kind of surprising how shit this is when you consider what Elon promised we'd have so, so many years ago

@@s__c__o It’s not really cost cutting if you have to spend 1000’s of hours developing and testing software to replace it.
Tesla gave us a shit after cutting 10 € ultrasonic sensor cost. tesla vision is far away from working properly! (same as rain sensor)
It makes the surroundings look like they're sculpted from poo.
Yeh lots of tiny bits built up, pretty terrifying really 😅
Stop saying FSD capable. Its not the USA here
It’s literally what it’s called by Tesla. In the USA it’s called FSD Beta….
Tesla is like nuclear fusion. Always ten years away from working
