We’re gonna work hard next time to make sure everyone is in sync and we can properly hear the audio beforehand as well which wasn’t the case here as well as we had hoped which led to a lot of clarification needed throughout the video
Isabella Rossellini is the only woman with a speaking part in Conclave (correct me if I'm wrong - I don't remember if the other female character with a notable role gets any lines), that's pretty different from the the male supporting actors from Conclave, who cancel each other out because they have roles of similar sizes, and opinions are divided on which one is the most memorable. I'd personally put Tucci and Lithgow behind Diehz, Castellito and Msamati.
so happy for payal kapadia to get nominated for best director, we are rooting for her and she is really championing indian cinema on the global level, all we imagine as light is a beautiful film to experience. the dream and hope begins for a solid awards journey after cannes for the oscars.
Wicked being snubbed is a representation of America’s political environment. I don’t understand such a contrary voting against a movie that comments so beautifully on inclusion and points out very poignantly the dangers of authoritarianism.
@@Lamidemonami7891 I don’t know what are these. If you can share us the link to the info it would be awesome. In any case, there is one movie in particular (Emilia Pérez) that I think is absolute crap (for lack of a better word). It is actually quite sad to watch it while knowing a little bit about how things are in real life. Yesterday, I was just thinking how problematic it is that the film wants you to feel sympathetic of a drug dealer. Wicked at least takes advantage of being a fantasy, and still having a strong comentary of today’s issues (which are quite palpable and I hope there’re no need for pointing them out incessantly).
@@andreuboada Well here’s a short list (the real list is far longer than 20): All We Imagine as Light Anora The Beast The Brutalist Challengers Dahomey Daughters A Different Man Do Not Expect Too Much from the end of the world Dune Part Two Evil Does Not Exist Flow Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga Good One Green Border Hard Truths I Saw the TV Glow Janet Planet Nickel Boys No Other Land The Seed of the Sacred Fig All of these films are better directed films than Wicked
Fernanda Torres its amazing
After listening to the voices in podcast for so much long time, I'm finally seeing all the people behind 😅😄
❤ from Northeast India..
Its time to pump it up
I hope you put more reaction videos on your channel coz this was fun to watch
More to come!
Cody is a vibe in this lol
❤️🇧🇷🥺 Fernanda
Dan keeps on ruining the reactions. Like wait a damn second. You don’t have to be the first to react every time
Agreed so annoying. Like just wait a beat if you know you're ahead!
I mean it’s a reaction video? You can watch the nominations without the reaction you know…
Matthew annoys me the most.. cause he is listening at the same time as them but keeps asking them what was nominated lol

Danielle Deadwyler, Dennis Villenueve and Clarence Maclin were brutally snubbed.
Sing Sing for Motion Picture Drama as well
Ugh Dan with the early reactions just ruins the video 🙄
We’re gonna work on that for next time to ensure it doesn’t happen again

Being snubbed of what, exactly??
@ Best Director, for starters. But let’s see, otherwise we should unite and start a campaign for #JusticeForWicked.
@@andreuboada well it wasn’t snubbed because it’s not even one of the 20 best directed films of the year.

Well here’s a short list (the real list is far longer than 20):
All We Imagine as Light
Anora
The Beast
The Brutalist
Challengers
Dahomey
Daughters
A Different Man
Do Not Expect Too Much from the end of the world
Dune Part Two
Evil Does Not Exist
Flow
Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga
Good One
Green Border
Hard Truths
I Saw the TV Glow
Janet Planet
Nickel Boys
No Other Land
The Seed of the Sacred Fig
All of these films are better directed films than Wicked
After seeing Sing Sing it’s kind of plain to see it’s just such a small scale movie with shaky cam at times. Nomadland in a prison.
#JusticeForWicked
I don't care about Wicked
@ Again, that tells so much about how things are going on nowadays.
Challengers is not sticking around,......
I don’t think so either
