"...Screams of pain and agony Rent the silent air Amidst the dying bodies Blood runs everywhere The figure stands expressionless Impassive and alone Unmoved by this victory And the seeds of death he's sown..." Enough said...
Some songs deserve to be listened to several times to fully appreciate. This is one of them.. Sinner, Exciter are nice metal tracks. Might hit that chord.
Judas Priest's 1984 album 'Defenders of the faith' is one of their best... not 1 bad track on it. Just a metal slab of goodness - shredding guitars from Glenn Tipton & K.K. Downing... Rob Halford's epic vocals. One of (late) drummer Dave Holland's best performances 🤘🤘
I really hope you go through all their albums because this is my favorite album of there’s. However it’s cool how their sound gets more aggressive with each album.
Your reactions are truly genuine and honest. I love all Judas Priest Live and Studio. The 1975 Live version of Dreamer Deceiver on BBC is still my favorite ever. It was before their success and before the album version which came out the following year in 1976. That live performance to me was the birth of modern metal. It starts out so serene and builds into a heavy masterpiece. Rob seems possessed in the last quarter of the song. The long blonde hair is a trip. Remember they started in 1969. They proved that they were mortal when the 70s were over but later regained what they're truly about. Please check out Dreamer Deceiver live 1975. The seed of future metal was planted that day
One of the most iconic metal songs ever. Everything about this is metal.
This is up there as one of my favorite Judas Priest songs on this album along with Freewheel Burning.

Great Judas Priest track this one. 😁🤘Glad I've seen them perform it live.
I would recommend Freewheel Burning from the same album. Consider doing it live. :)
