I love that Tati added some "ooh-ooh-oohs" just before the "Silent, and satisfied" part - it was a really nice touch. Tati has great emotional expression in all of her singing, including soulful singing. She'd be great at singing soul, blues or jazz, no doubt. I'd be up for any or all of it, and the band is more than capable.
I love Beggars Dance and Prologue. For so many reasons. I haven't seen anyone else take lines from every other song on the album and make a new song. The style those songs are in are just an example of the musical depth the band has. Beggars Dance isn't a metal band trying to play a style they don't know, it's a group of musicians playing just one of the many styles of music they understand and know how to play. Makes me want to see at least Tati do a Jazz album.
Hurm you need to do a reaction on woodies dirty deeds of 1994. It's a lil documentary of woodie and his homies, it'll help you understand his music more
We need some more Candlemass! Tales of Creation is a concept album better listened to from start to finish but you have already reviewed Dark Reflections so you could back up to the beginning and review The Prophecy or move on to Voices in the Wind (only about 15 seconds) which leads into Under the Oak! Either way will be awesome!
the "2 songs" are Prologue and Beggar's Dance ... i don't think anyone would complain about a double-feature 😉

It was Rick Rubin, the producer who worked with SOAD and many other bands.

🤟Great!!🤟
Tatiana actually did sing quite a lot of soul, blues and jazz music as a young lady singing in local joints from what I understand

Didn't that bass line at 10:36 remind you of Tool - Schism?

Jinjer is just the tits. It doesn't get much better in the world or metal. The total package.
