British "Fire Engines" have at least one fixed hose reel, 1 inch internal diameter and about 20 foot long, as well as larger rolled up hose sections for bigger fires. As you saw the initial attack is be one fireman, using the hose reel, working from up wind, if it's needed another fireman will be putting on their BA and will then take over. Also you'll notice only one fire engine is dispatched to this small fire, it is up to the senior fireman, the one in the white helmet, in this case, to decide if any more engines are required.
Why didn't they have breathing protection gears on ? in germany were i live the firefighters never go without breathing protection gear to a burning car

They have 2 fixed hose reels each are 60 foot long
British firefighters don't screw around with slowly attaching hoses and ritualistic overkill procedures like AMERICAN firefighters do!!!

I wondered that too. In the UK it is actually a standard requirement.
They should be wearing it but being in the best in the UK in they clearly don't need it
