I agree with the comments below. I am a Busines Change Manager and this is my forte'. I work for Arkadin, a large Unified Communications company and we provide change management consulting for our technology implementations. I love the video, not only for customers but for our internal folks that need to understand the basic concept of change management. This is a great prerequisite to our learning journey through our internal process and procedures for organizational change management.

I don't normally comment on You Tube videos but i had to with this one. This was a very clearly explained, easy to understand and professional video about managing change. So many people and organisations take change for granted, and force it onto the end users without a thought to its long term success. This video should be seen by all organisations going through change, to ensure everyone understands change is good for the individual and the organisation, if you are to stay one step ahead of your competitors.

Perfect! We've been going through change at work- and this really underscores why certain things have worked- and other things have been a complete failure. Loved the presentation, really clear and easy to understand. Well done!

I have not been an active viewer expressing my opinion, for the online content that i watch, but for some reason this video propelled the long awaiting moment and here i am stating what's going on in my mind as i watched this video.
I am a Novice guy, looking to learn about Change Management and the lucidity with which the concepts, fears/challenges and the way these needs to be handled is explained in the video made me understand the nuances and great value addition to my time spent. Thank you Gavin, appreciate you for uploading this.

Thanks Gavin, this is an awesome video as a training tool - particularly for management!! I love the way the music changed as well, it tied with the message. It made 'change' seem less onerous and it really is about communication (effective) and consideration of other people in an organisation.

    Gavin,
You have a great presentation about change. I might add there is a piece you need to address concerning organizational trust. I have found, in my research, employees do not trust the leaders. During times of change do not communicate about the change because they do not want to be seen as being untruthful. In the absence of communication rumors about the change and distrust develop. Employees add information to make sense about the change and it is often incorrect.

Change Management should (must) be considered a top priority in today's market conditions, however it is really hard to sell-out the idea to people that have been applying the old-style management during a long time...

the one thing that always irks me about this is the idea that we have to threaten people. I think we can achieve better results by doing a thoughtful and honest sell of what the benefits of the change(s) are - and then being transparent about the potential pitfalls, the unknowns and/or just admitting that we don't know, but we are going to give it our best try anyway!

Be real.. Be practical... Face the actual things, believe in intellectual, social, physical management which is common feature adopted by all and everywhere... These (change, change management, dynamism, modernism) are natural in real world adapted by creatures, humans, etc.... So be real.. Be practical.... Self work self interests self style are must always..
