    Lessons learned:
    1. Beggars can't be choosers. You have to compromise in life.
    2. Keep your ego aside and think rationally.
    3. Confidence is key. Sometimes confidence is more important than competence.
    4. Don't ignore your health in your 20's.
    5. Research and invest in good companies. (according to your risk appetite)
    6. Learn to control your speech and facial expressions in front of your superiors.
    7. Many times in our life the situation is not in our control and we feel like a victim of our circumstances but our destiny is shaped by the decisions we take at these critical junctures of our life. You will face failures/rejections but try your best to have a positive approach.
    8. The default state of our mind is worry and anxiety. Try to keep yourself busy/engaged in productive/fun activities. (Hero brain vs. Fattu brain)
    9. Success is the best revenge. Being angry is like holding a piece of coal, it will only burn your hand.
    10. Negativity is a choice.

I had subscribed to this channel a while ago but never watched any of the long videos. Last Sunday, I just accidentally clicked on this video, 'The Long video 8'. Seconds into the video, I left the video unwatched, abhi ek ghanta lamba kon dekhega sochke. After a while, I was getting bored, so I thought lets give this a try, anyways kuch accha to kar bhi nahi raha, yehi dekh lete hain. So I thought lets watch it from the first video. And wait..... Guess what!!!!!
Yes.. I binge watched the videos, 7 videos on Sunday, into the midnight too. What amazing yet simple storytelling! These stories aren't just stories, these are life experiences. We all can relate to it, a middle class family's dream. Most of us haven't attended those elite institutions, but by your storytelling it felt as if we were part of those classrooms. Its like getting to feel what life would have been if we were at your position Sir. The most touching part was that of your 3rd year internship during IIT. That Cadbury lesson has so much for us to learn.
Monday, I got a bit busy with a family event, and later after vaccination just dozed off. But had the excitement within me to watch this 1 hour long video. And today morning (Tuesday) after having watched this video and waiting eagerly for the next long video, I must admit that the amount of wisdom in all these experiences of yours is just insane. There's just so much for us ahead. Keep this series alive Sir.

you're my idol. I am from a very humble background, dropped 2 years for IIT, exhausted all my attempts at JEE MAINS in fact, tab jaake I got NIT Kurukshetra, not even what I wanted. So, the disappointment you mentioned is familiar. you wait for years for something to happen and then all of a sudden, boom! the world comes crashing down. It breaks the heart. plus my unsuccessful romantic life adds to the sick flavor of my wrecked life. I am heavily inspired by your struggles and your *aish ki life*, both. Thank you so much for making Long Videos. I always wait for the notification *Long video x - Chetan Bhagat just uploaded!*

I just want to thank you because at this juncture of my life where I'm sitting for campus placements with hoards of doubts about my future, you have just given me a short summary of how unpredictable can life be. I started my reading habit with five point someone and back then in class 7 I never knew this entire background story of how that book came into being. Today when I hear you telling about it, I literally feel goosebumps.
You have had the courage to overcome things and I'll give my best to overcome the challenges that come my way in the same manner.

I could draw some parallels and felt better about my own life and how it has panned out. My journey from good and bad bosses - my feelings, forgiving, moving on, rewards, tears - all makes sense now.
To be honest, I wasn’t a fan of yours but after hearing your unfiltered versions of your life, I feel that you are a down-to-earth person.
    Waiting for your next one.

Sir I was in class 4th or 5th when I know about you book, "3 Miktakes of my Life", it was given in our GK book. At that time we have to memorise books and authors. I Mention at that time you were very much famous. Now, I'm in class 10th and finished reading "3 Mistakes of My life" yesterday. I've very much to say about that book but as I cannot write much, so, I'll only say that, it was just the "best of the best".
