This channel is such a delightful hidden gem. All of these uploads have been a treat. Please just keep doing videos about whatever it is you feel like talking about at any given point, because that aspect is what makes it work so well. It's all so uncynical and off the cuff.
I got into prog rock/prog metal via the early mp3 era, including Marillion, Queensryche and Savatage. Great to see a video about these albums I grew up with. :D
I love your videos. Your narration style and positive way of speaking about the bands and albums is wonderful. I hope to see more of these awesome videos. Much love from germany!
Ayreon's The Human Equation is peak metal opera, I used to be obsessed with it growing up then again I also used to be obsessed with Green Day's American Idiot but hey it's still pretty cool for what it was
You mention that Queensrÿche's Operation: Mindcrime "has surprisingly some teeth for big hair music", it really burns my ass when people say that Queensrÿche is glam/hair metal, they never were, they were proper heavy metal, and nowhere close to glam metal scene, and secondly, there were plenty of bands who made heavy metal in the mid-late 80s which had plenty of teeth, like Savatage's Hall Of The Mountain King and Gutter Ballet, made in 1987 and 1989 respectively, another great example is Riot's Thundersteel from 1988 just to name a few.

I'm a big fan of King Diamond's various rock operas, particularly "Them."
Marillion made a rock-opera/concept album with their first singer Fish called "Misplaced Childhood" too. It's another masterpiece.

Fun fact about Operation Mindcrime: about a decade back there were some guys trying to adapt it for Broadway but at this point it's probably dead
Streets sounds fun, 1st time hearing about the band. Tyty
Definitely check out Hall Of The Mountain King from them as well after that. Not a rock opera, but an incredible heavy metal/power metal album
