A criminally underrated band that has written amazing songs
Bob Kulick just killed it with this solo.... He told me years ago that Blackie made him work on the solo for nearly 24 hrs. straight till it was just right. Killer track!

That solo is probably the most perfect piece of electric guitar wielding ever when it comes to aggressiveness and emotional communication. The dives and recovers are insane.
I think this was the first song I heard from WASP.
Listening to this track always makes me emotional.

WASP is absolutely legendary. A few months ago I was so lucky to see this amazing band. They played a medley that included the Idol and chainsaw Charlie…OMG!!! The nostalgia. Growing up as a teen with this music was glorious.
So glad to see someone appreciate this song how it should be appreciated its one of the best songs ever written. I was so fortunate to see then do the reidolized tour and it was freakin amazing.
The best WASP album, it's more a rock opera than an actual album. Bob Kulick is on the lead guitar, he is the oldest brother of Bruce Kulick from KISS, both Kulick's brothers were well talented on the instrument and work with KISS. Sadly, Bob left this world in 2020. A well-known and respectful musician, especially by his outstanding contribution in-studio work from Michael Bolton to WASP.
I love seeing the music I grew up with, still touching this generation!
Bob Kulick (R.I.P.) was the guitar player on this album and the album Still Not Black Enough.
The Crimson Idol is a top 5 greatest concept albums of all time and that’s a damn fact !!! Wasp. Great band. Great songwriting and killer live shows. Blackie is a great frontman.
W.A.S.P. has INCREDIBLE guitar solos in almost all of their songs. So emotional, melodic, transcendent, soul wrenching...
They're one of my favorite bands and I'm really glad to see people reacting to them. You reacted just like I do everytime I hear that guitar.
Considering how you enjoyed this one, I'm telling you, you should consider diving straight into the rest of their stuff!

But his voice just.....oh! I can't even put words to what his voice does to my body. Chills for up and down for minutes and minutes and song after song. Oh LORD! Brilliant! Congrats on this one guys! WASP did a rockin' cover of The Who's song 'The Real Me' and it kicked ass. I'd love it if you could check out both versions and maybe do a double-hit video. It was a smash with me metal head friends when it came out in the 80's. Lovin' your channel, guys!

You might have picked the mellowest songs on this album "The Crimson Idol". This is one of the best albums ever in my opinion of course. Try "I Am One" or "Chainsaw Charlie" or "The Great Misconception of Me" all from this same album. One of my favorite, kind of mellow songs is "The Gypsy Meets the Boy". W.A.S.P. is so so so very good. I love your reactions by the way. 🤘👏🔥

Great 80's Metal band. I think their biggest hit was "Blind In Texas", from '85. I remember the MTV video. This is an awesome tune. That guitar is insane!

WASP is an incredible band. This album is just spectacular and one of the best albums EVER.
Bob Kulick (RIP) on lead guitar. Bob did work for Meatloaf, Alice Cooper and did some studio work for KISS (some of the lead guitar on the studio songs on Alive 2, lead guitar for the 4 new songs on Killers, a bit of work on Creatures Of The Night, Paul Stanley's 1978 solo album as well as on Paul Stanley's 1989 solo tour). Bob's younger brother Bruce became KISS' lead guitarist from 1984 through 1996.
