I’d love to hear your take on Post-Dio Sabbath albums

I was watching and laughing when the videos came out too, and I still randomly say to myself, “DREEEEEAAAAMMMMIIINNNGGGGG!!!” This was great, thank you for doing it, and rest in peace Curt and Creecher.

Ozzy,s life of SIN and everything that comes with his rock bands took a beautiful young mans life, they say GOD takes some people young when he sees that Hell is where they will be going Randy was young and spiritually innocent not full of sin yet

80s metal is for guys who are still stuck in their high school years. Grunge is for guys who grew out of that phase and wanted to hear music with some real heart and soul behind it.

Grunge bands didn’t kill Hair Metal. Hair Metal Fans were turning into 22+ year-old adults and had to get jobs, get married and begin raising families. We grew up but would later renew our love of the bands in the resurgence of Hair Metal that began about 20 years ago and is still going today with bands like Winger, Dokken, Motley Crue, Steelheart, Great White, Skid Row, Warrant, Extreme and others still touring.

Jake left over money, he demanded more money because he wasn't getting royalty's from the albums he recorded with Ozzy, As far as guitarists for Ozzy, Randy and Zakk all the way. Both guitarists saved Ozzy's career.

I don't think Ozzy had ever had a mediocre guitarrist. They have all been just exceptional. Even when Brad Guillis was not included in original material he was between the best 3 at least. He also has left a legacy of Floyd Rose tricks together with EVH. ❤

Everyone goes up and down with the ideea that Jake is underated...The fact is that if you listen to Jake both studio and live and compare it with Randy....there is a perfect reason for him to be underated. He was a good guitar player but nowhere close to Randy.

Every one of those bands became really shitty.

As great and lucrative as Ozzy's solo career was, he still will not be ranked as high as Black Sabbath by true metal heads who will always be considered the true OG's. Meanwhile Ozzy's drunk-ass treated his guitarist just a badly as he treated Sabbath.

Randy is top tier. Ahead of it's time, and great songwriting. Also was so young ,and also remained there young frozen in time.... Jake was awsome also, and Wylde is also excelent. Both are great, but Randy is the best for me.

He was definitely in the lowest, darkest depths of intoxication when he hooked up with her. Ugggh.

Grunge and alternative rock is so boring and so is rap. There still was alot of good music in the 90's. AC and smooth jazz were quite popular and nice and well produced.

I know they weren't technically an 80s prog metal band, but King Crimson's 90s albums are also worth an exploration, maybe in a separate video.

I'm glad to see the comments mostly think Jake E Lee was Ozzy's best guitarist. I agree with them. That solo on Shot in the Dark is what seals the deal.

Ozzy worked with some the best guitarists in the business. Iommi’s brooding, heavy, blues Rhoad’s sophisticated suave Lee’s insane shredding Wylde’s heavy fist’o’doom Gus G’s edge They all helped move Ozzy’s career forward.

allegedly sharon and ozzy screwed all the band members out of music credits and thus royalties owed to them ... i think jake said hed get $500 per week when touring ... i also heard ozzy had zakk re-record all the guitar parts jake did on albums , so he could re-release them without giving jake what he was owed again ... sharon is cuthtroat and sees no value in musicians apparently... meanwhile her and ozzy are multimillionaires
