the wrap looks fire but I'm curious as to why you tape off the area around the hood instead of just propping the hood open? Does it help keep your cuts smoother?
Instead of using scotch tape and then cutting the edges with a knife, use 3M knifeless tape design line. Trust bro it's quicker and way easier keeping a consistent width throughout the entire edge. Also makes it easier when tucking under the hood.

I think Satin Black would be the best option. Matte would look extra flat no type of shine on it. Should be closer
